At 7:32 2 employees tell me they are fully booked! More like the doctor went home. Not a soul in sight! Terrible customer service. Don't count on this office if you need medical attention.

Apart from Dr. Zabal my husband normally sees from this clinic, this place has the worst qualified physicians and incompetent staff. When our family physician is not available and we have to see a different physician, we always get conflicting diagnosis. Do not risk your health coming here. Misdiagnose all the time showing little compassion. Office is disorganized, had strep throat done multiple times, sample was either expired or forgotten. Waste of time and a lost of opportunity to find out what the bacteria was. The reception also gives you false information. They told us we cannot call the lab on weekends/holidays because they are not open- This is not true. They are open 24/7 if you just want to know your results or want to ask them a question. We only come here because it's close to home. Really not worth it. Will change clinic ASAP..

Really happy with my experience. I had called another walk in clinic who said they had 5 walk in patients in line and it would be a couple hours. So I called this clinic who also had 5 patients for walk in plus appointments. I was told another doctor was starting at 5 (I called at 436) so I got my 12 month old ready and headed over. I was in and out by 545 and that included those 5 walk ins plus appointments. I was really impressed with how organized and friendly all the staff was.

Worst customer service! I went to a pharmacy to pick up my daughters prescription as I was informed by the “Doctor” that it should be ready in an hour- coming to know that they haven’t even sent it to the pharmacy yet -when I asked the pharmacist. So I phoned MCI spoke to “Jennifer” and I was informed that the Doctor is busy reason why it was not sent. I was asking why did this happened? Jennifer didn’t even apologize and hanged up on me while I am talking on the phone. Vey rude and wrong! No phone etiquette. This clinic does not care about their patients and does not respect time. The funny part is -this is the 2nd time that this happened to us. Well, I guess we need to find new clinic who takes care of their patients. PS: Wait time here is crazy! Your appointment is 1 but you have to wait 30-60 minutes more. tsk!

I liked going to Dr. Zabal for a long time because he is caring and listens to his patients . But wait time in this clinic is horrible whether you have an appointment or not you have to wait for minimum 40 minutes. The least time i waited to see a doctor with an appointment was 40 minutes and longest time , lets not even go there. Even to get simple refill prescriptions takes forever. I am just sad that when they get report , they dont call you to let you know your report is here . I had to call and i find out and had to change my medicine which was related to the result. Anyway . I dont go there anymore.

This is the most inept medical office i have been to in my 50 years. They have written at least 5 wrong prescriptions for my family, 1. one was for my son with penicillin in which is on his file that he is allergic, thank goodness pharmacist caught it. 2. Dr Dong wrote order for xray for my daughters knee which she hurt, he wrote down the wrong knee so we had to wait while they contacted office to do x ray. 3. Gave my another patients request for a mamogram. 4. Gave me two incorrect prescriptions 5. Gave my daugther prescription for rosacea instead of one for acne . Asking me why I still am going there? It was out of convenience and my family liked Dr. Cenabre. Each of these mistakes were made by other doctors.

Amazing walk in - 5 doctors on the day we walked in with a family emergency. We waited less than 10 min to be looked at and Doctor and staff were super friendly, fast and efficient. Highly recommend this clinic - THUMBS UP!!

Dr. Dong has been our Family Doctor for 5+ years. He cares about our well being and although not very chatty, he is very understanding. With his help, I was diagnosed properly and given medication that actually works. The staff at the front desk always remember us and are great.

I don't live near here and only went because of all the positive reviews I saw on Google.. it's a nice place, and I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, but that's the only good thing I can say about them. I got some tests done and they told me they would call me on Monday with the results, & they never called so I assumed everything was all good (they tell you they won't call if your results are negative for strep throat etc) but then a WEEK later I get a call and the receptionist tells me that they improperly labelled the swabs so I need to come back and do it again.. I'm mostly pissed about the fact that they waited a full week to tell me this and wasted my time waiting to find out my results. I ended up going to a different doctor and had a much better experience.

A good portion of the experience of visiting a Dr.s office is the administration. And after my recent experience at this office, I have decided to move clinics in hopes to find an office that respects my time as much as their own. I arrived 5 min before my appt. started, then sat there for 35 min with out any comments or interaction. I could hear some discussion happening behind the desk about delays and a "procedure" that was tying the Dr.s time up. I was shot a couple of looks, however, no one bothered to come talk to me. I approached the front desk and was told, even being a half hour behind, the procedure is not complete. Also, someone is still in front of me. So a minimum of another half hour wait! What bothered me was the indifference of the staff, like my time is less valuable. They would have just let me sit there for over an hour with out advising me or asking if I wanted to reschedule. Not impressed, and gauging by the reviews they have been struggling with this issue for sometime. This is not a new issue.

I booked a phone appt with a doctor to talk about my lab test result, he said his name is Mahama or something like that. He told me sorry I have no access to Netcare today, I was just so upset I didn't want to continue the conversation. I know he didn't want to spend the time to talk to me and I know he was lying, if not why didn't you call ahead of time that day to say no access. Terrible terrible experience, as a doctor what kind of ethic is that, as it's not you it's not your family you don't care? Never said to book another appointment with me, so I don't get how they operate like that. Awful experience and would not recommend

While I like the doctors, this clinic is poorly managed. Last week my appointment was 70 minutes behind. Here I sit again for my follow up this week and I’ve been waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time and no doc in sight. I get emergencies come up but I’ve now been coming here for several years and it’s always like this. If it wasn’t for the docs I would be changing clinics.

I have been going to this office since 2012. I live downtown now but am so grateful my Dr. here. So much so, I’d drive to Canmore if I had to. The Doctors here actually listen to me. You know I always say “my body is MY Vehicle I drive it every day”! I am in charge of it’s care. So my Dr. knows when I come in, I’ve exhausted all my own avenues, and I can usually tell him exactly what’s wrong. So until you reach that level of self awareness, don’t complain about a Dr. here or anywhere. Your health is likened to three legged stool. Consisting of your Dr.’s education, medical services available to us here in Canada and your own self-awareness. To go to a Doctor and just have them guess, your begging for a misdiagnosis. Either way the Doctors here really know their stuff, and it’s ok, if you don’t have self awareness they can still help you it just takes longer. I refuse to go anywhere else in the city!

I was the first one here at 8 AM which is right when they open, i called the number on the door and the receptionist put me on hold right away, for FIFTEEN MINUTES almost like i was forgotten about. Finally when she picked up the phone again, she told me they only accept walkins at 9:30. First time here and already never coming back especially based on the reviews of this place.

Came in today with a serious bladder infection.and even though posted hours start at 8 am they told me walk-in hours don’t start until 9 am. The receptionist couldn’t have cared less about my situation. Even though there was a doc in the office and I explained I needed to be at work for the day and could not come back at 9 and it literally takes 30s of the docs time to look at a sample.

Went to this clinic for awhile, always waiting 30min for appointments. Ended up leaving because my family doc, dr C was downplaying my medical condition and extremely rude to me on one occasion. I used to go to this clinic but it just got worse and worse for doctors and management. The medical assistants in front care more about the gossip of the office or telling innapropiate stories from their weekends. I've been misdiagnosed multiple times, given antibiotics without having test results come in yet and the last time I went here I had a doctor refuse to check my nose and throat for a sinus infection and when I went to see another doctor I had been diagnosed with a sinus infection after all and given antibiotics. My infection was ignored and left to get worse. Lazy or just ignorant? Dont waste your time. Dont go into the medical field if your bot going to care about patients. I'll never be back.

I have been with MCI Doctors office for more than a year and my experience with Dr. Mitry is highly satisfactory. He is very a very good listener and understands patients condition and needs and provides meaningful suggestions and advice. He is very punctual with his appointment and happy to book appointment for any of my health concerns. Recently I was sick visiting Mexico and I called the office with my blood work and he was able to review and provide consultation and prescriptions to my remote residence place. Overall it is very good doctors office and I highly recommend Beacon hill office.

I had a workplace accident and was bleeding heavily from several cuts so we went to this clinic as it was close by. Unfortunately I arrived a few minutes before walk in hours ended and the doctor was “fully booked”. I was told the doctor was “unable to attend to an emergency” and I was told to phone another clinic and refused treatment. I’m sure if I had received treatment that it would have been 5 stars. However being denied emergency treatment when in need was a great frustration and disappointment. I would advise those in need of urgent care to avoid this clinic in the future! Take the risk of bleeding out on the drive to the hospital!

I have been a patient at MCI, I absolutely loved my experiences at this office. Doctor Cenabre, and Doctor Dong are both amazing doctors. They do a fantastic job at keeping wait times as minimal as possible and are great at telling you how long of a wait there is. I have been looking over the reviews left by others, I would like to remind people as a person that works in health care it is important to remember that the office is a team and are working to help you, not working against you! Thanks for always providing me with such a fantastic experience.

I went to this clinic today (8th sept 2021) at 7pm because my 15 month old son fell and he was bleeding nose . Whoever was in the front office that lady was rude and told me they don't accept walk ins when there is only 1 hour to close the clinic when its written and advertised as a walk in clinic . I really don't recommend this place to anyone.

After confirming who I was met with, Dr. Ephraim Mahlase is who I saw and he is the absolute worst “doctor” I’ve ever met. He does not listen to your concerns and is extremely arrogant and rude. Talks over you and doesn’t consider your concerns a real problem. He yelled at me so bad and would not listen to anything I had to say, not like I could even get anything out with his yelling. Completely useless appointment, makes me lose so much faith in family doctors. He didn’t offer me any solutions to my problem and completely brushed me off. Had I not had some self advocacy or knowledge about my issue I could have easily ended up with sepsis. He just doesn’t get it. His job is primary prevention as a family doctor and until I mentioned the risk of a kidney infection did he realize that I might have a problem and he should do something about it. Only reason I saw him (didn’t have a choice of who) is because my regular family doctor wasn’t available. No wonder he only takes in walk in patients, nobody wants him as a regular family doctor nor should they ever receive care from him! He needs to be fired for his incompetence and attitude. I highly recommended you never see him! Don’t waste your time. I have to mention that I did see Dr. Zabal a few times in the past and he is amazing and would highly recommended him. He is so thorough and actually takes time to listen to you! Only if he was female would I take him as a my regular doctor! Highly recommend him. It’s sad that this office is plagued by some very incompetent, rude, and horrible doctors. They really need to figure it out.

I cannot believe some of these comments, I had the opposite experience to the extreme! I called on short notice and was booked an APPOINTMENT for a walk in clinic by a very helpful front desk team member. He ran around before I came in to check if a particular test was available in clinic so I wouldn't waste my time coming in. On top of that, in the days to follow the same team member was very helpful in retrieving the lab results so I would have them as soon as they became available. The Doctor I saw was lovely and very relatable, she took the time to listen to the whole situation and really set my mind at ease during the visit. On top of treating the one child I had scheduled the appointment for, she also took time to have a look at my other child just in case and gave me unbelievable peace of mind. She was genuinely kind to myself and my children during a stressful time. When I think of a walk in clinic (from previous experience) I picture long wait times (hours), dirty floors and waiting rooms, closed in help desk accommodations, blasé help desk personal and Doctors who are in a rush. I did not encounter even one of those things from this location. I would and will be recommending this clinic to anyone who is in need of one!

If you’re looking for what’s wrong, Dr Google will be more help than any “doctor” (clown in lab coat) here, but managed to at least get prescriptions and referrals when needed. And God forbid you should ever decide to change doctors, they will hold your records hostage! Well husband decided to get rid of us, and the kids and I moved 3 hours away, found a doctor and signed papers for them to have mine and my kids’ records transferred. Next thing I get a call from them, I first have to pay them $100! Not sure if that was for each of us or me and the kids combined, I hung up on them, but good grief! I’m a single mom of 3, I don’t have that kind of money to pay the ransom for our records, just so they can click an effing button!! ZERO compassion + ZERO sense. Save yourself the headache.

Terrible service for walk ins. They let several people in ahead of us even though they checked in after we did, and when I asked what was going on they denied having done this. No hand sanitizer in the wall units and no soap in the sinks in the exam rooms. Disgusting! Pick another clinic.

Made an appointment with my family doctor today but apparently he was too busy to see me so I get some random person in who knows absolutely nothing about me. Guess I'll be finding a new doctor for myself especially with my baby on it's way. I want a family doctor who actually cares enough to see me when I'm sick. Must just be the pregnancy. Sure wish I would have just stayed home and slept instead of driving 30 minutes both ways for nothing.

My family has visited this place a handful of times when our regular family Doctor was away and we have been some impressed by the bed-side manner, the patience and warmth this place has showed. They're usually able to squeeze you in as a walk in patient and are very attentive and thorough. Would definitely recommend!

1. They have some good.doctors. Most are terrible, most of all Drs Dong and Cenabre. 2. Some of the laziest, cattiest male receptionists in the sad history of the same. The older one with a Spanish accent is passive aggressive, vitriolic, and just...snide. The other one is too lazy to.get referrals done and tells you to.call around and use Google to find a specialist. Ghetto as sin. And all of them regularly fail.to even then get referrals done. 3. Lazy doctors. Dong couldn't diagnose a broken foot yesterday and let me walk on it. Just swelling and tiasue damage most likely he thought. I fact? Nice big fracture of bone. 4. Lazy doctors, lazy staff. It's nice you can make appointments for walk in and be seen quicktime, but the quality of this walk in clinic ain't worth it.

Staff is unfriendly and it's very hard to get doctor appointment even if he is your family doctor. Walkins are not taken as the front staff always says Doctors are busy, even if you require urgent assistance.

I've been seeing Dr. C for about 4 years now and he's wonderful. He cares about his relationship with you and I find him to be a medical minimalist which I love. I have waited an hour with an appointment on occasion, which I expect seeing as it's a medical clinic. By and large however, I don't have to wait much at all and I can usually get a same day appointment.

The Dr's here are nice and all but the way the clinic is ran and appointments are booked is a joke. Call and make an appointment for 11? Get there early because heaven forbid you are late, and you won get in until 12 to see the Dr. How is that right? Their time is money, but mine is worthless to them! Definitely looking for a new family Dr now.

I walked to the clinic today with my one year old kid. The receptionist never bothered to ask but said but said “we’re fully booked today, we have two people” when there was no one in area physically seen. They also said they close at 1 pm. I was there 12:20 pm. Never bothered to ask or ask the doctors if they can accommodate to see my one year old. The only response was “you can try other clinic open”. Really? Then why a walking clinic if they are working by appointments only? Why there’s no priority when it involves a minor? I don’t recommend this clinic at all.

I went in to follow up on a previous illness as I believed the first course of antibiotics weren't enough to kill the infection. The doctor came in (female, older, braces, accent) and asked what my symptoms were. I simply said I believe I have a persistent sinus infection that needs another round of anti biotics. "I said what are your symptoms, not what you think you have!" I listed my symptoms. She looked at my throat and thumped around my eyes and declared because I don't have a fever it's simply allergies, wrote a script for nasonex and dismissed me. I went to a medicenter for a second opinion. That doctor actually examined me, said I do in fact have inflamed sinuses and post nasal drip, and had the nurse fax my prescription for an antibiotic they treats bacterial infections to my pharmacist. The only reason I'm posting this is this woman is reckless and not up to Canadian trained standards. She just might have a personality disorder but she certainly isn't medically professional.

This practice is brutal, if you can avoid please do. I never wrote a review before but this will be the first time since I'm dissapointed in this practice. This will be directed at the front staff as they couldn't handle their job The front staff lacks any empathy towards their patients. On a Sunday they had only one doctor on staff. We waited for two hours and we were the first walk in on the list. Why advertise walk ins if you can't handle a single one? A group in front of us was checked in wrongly as a walk in when they had an appointment. They waited for an hour before talking to the front desk and when the couple were speaking to the front desk they had wanted nothing to do with it. After they found out it was their mistake and they checked in the patient wrong, they were all ears and were apologetic. The staff were more worried about shutting down at 1pm then taking care of the patients. Try to avoid.

In my first visit I experienced, a prescription that created a potentially harmful drug interaction, refusal to discuss with the pharmacist, and in the end it was all based on a misdiagnosis. That was on the medical side involving medical professionals. On the paraprofessional side the office staff tried to get me to go away by saying that the doctor was too busy to talk to the pharmacist. I recommend staying away from this place. I think the main problem might be the office procedures set by MCI.

Booked an appointment, arrived on time. Called the number on the door to check in. Was told to wait outside. Been waiting outside for 40 minutes. And the story repeats itself every time I come to this place. I've waited anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour in the past, and nothing changed over the years. Start value your patient's time. Time to go look for another clinic.
