I chose to do the ECP treatment with the Heart Fit Clinic rather than have a stent put in. The results have been phenomenal to say the least. I am no longer on any meds and even my doctors are astonished. The staff were absolutely amazing in the education, support and service I received. That would include nurse Debbie and Diamond Fernandes who was more helpful and shared more knowledge with me than my Cardiologist. My wife credits the Heart Fit Clinic with saving my life and they very well may have. I would highly recommend anyone to take their treatments and their tests.

The experience was excellent and the staff provided a comfortable professional environment expected from those top notch clinics that are frequented by the rich and famous. My angina pain is gone and I have no need to take my nitro, those stairs that I could not easily walk up I can climb with ease. Now that I'm closing in on 60 I've become more conscientious about my health. I've gone to my family doctor and had a physical and some tests but the one thing I could not get from him was a good "read" on how my heart health is doing. It turns out that most of the "tests" they can do through the medical system really only work at the "heart attack imminent" stage (or worse). I thought "There has to be someone who can actually tell me how my heart is doing TODAY" so I did some research and found Diamond Fernandes and Heart Fit Clinic. I went there and was finally able to get the information I wanted. They did my assessment and mostly everything is "in the green" but a few were at the top end of their respective ranges so I have some things I should work on. I REALLY want to live long enough to meet my great-grandkids and now, with the information from Heart Fit, I can proactively go to work getting to an optimal level of health for my age. Diamond gave me a list of things to do and with regular monitoring and testing at Heart Fit, I'm confident I'll be around for quite a while yet. Thanks Diamond!

After experiencing two heart attacks and the typical health care system approach to dealing with heart disease such as stints and prescribed drugs, I feel very fortunate to have heard about the HeartFit Clinic. My treatments and overall experiences at the HeartFit clinic have been extremely positive. This clinic offers heart health care that makes sense and promotes overall health benefits. Without drugs or surgery, I experienced immediate health benefits such as no more incidences of heart pain and shortness of breath and overall, I have more energy. My heart problems began March 1980. When taking our customary run through the street of Montreal, I experienced chest pain. This had never happened before. We lived at the time in a complex that included gymnasium which we used. The Head gymnast referred me to a Cardiologist. This caused a trip to the Victoria General hospital where I had bypass surgery. This cured me aa– or so I thought. Come June of the same year, the pain returned. Since that time I have had surgery after surgery but after each the angina returned. My last surgery where they put stents inside of stents, occurred December 2012. Soon thereafter, I came across the Heart Fit Clinic and decided to follow up on it. It has been the best thing I have ever done! No more angina and no more operations! Since I started attending the clinic many services have been added such as ECP (increase blood circulation) and tests that diagnose heart problems so they can be properly treated. The one I like best detects plaque buildup. I attend the clinic twice weekly for the ECP and the supervised exercise program.

I did external counterpulsatiom treatment. I had bypass surgery and then the grafts blocked up left with no options other than medications. Once I completed the external counterpulsatiom treatment I felt so much better. It improved my stamina and blood sugar.
