I personally love that she will always give me her honest opinion about what she thinks is neccessary or not, and she will never just give me injectibles when I don't need them. She takes time to remember me as a patient and always has questions about how things are going in my life which makes me feel so much more comfortable and makes tough appointments (needles) go by much faster. Not sure how I came across this clinic but it is the best. I am a 19 year old girl with a crazy acne prone face and all the lady’s at this clinic have helped me tons. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a smile and I feel so welcomed there. I really liked how the skin consultation was free and they recommended products for me; the best part is they didn't force me to buy anything! They even recommend cheaper products for those who have trouble with buying everything. Also I would like to add that getting an appointment is so easy. Consulting Jenna from Marcia Hartt was one of the best things I could do to my skin. I have been experiencing problematic skin for the last couple of years. Right when I was on the edge of losing confidence, I met Jenna and she put me back on the right track. I am glad I made the right choice by going here. She is really good at analyzing the skin and understanding the root causes of any issues. For anybody looking for skin treatments, this is the place to GO! I would recommend this place a total 100%. Absolutely love love LOVE getting treatment here. I have suffered from chronic migraines since I was 16 years old (nearly 7 years now). August of 2017 I finally was turned on to botox treatments. The initial neurologist I saw was very hard to get in with and did not make me feel very comfortable during the whole process. I also found after the second treatment that I was getting headaches by week 9-10 rather than the 12 weeks I was scheduled (this was with regular botox). Coupled together I wanted to try something else. So I tried out Dr. Hartt that year and let me tell you it has changed my life. She was completely honest with me about the course of treatment and being a medical (veterinary) student myself she is always willing to answer my many questions about injection sites and dosages (she was even able to use less than the neurologist because we looked at one of the dosing sites and it was not one I actually needed! So yay!! Less pokes and less total volume needed). Also she uses such amazing products I refuse to go anywhere else. In January I made the personal mistake (absolutely my mistake) of getting the botox brand rather than dysport and jesus.. I highly disagree with some people here saying botox is more effective. I was getting migraines again within 8 weeks and had to go to the ER for the pain. Thank god for Dr. Hartt as she was consistently in contact with me and helped out wherever she could (I live in calgary) and was able to sneak me in to see her on the one weekend I was coming in to town. So for this dose i got 4 days ago now I'm back on dysport, actually able focus, no nausea, and ready to kick butt in school. I will continue to drive from calgary to see her as she and her staff truly care for your health, are honest about getting you the treatment they feel is best, and want to see you happy with your results! I cant speak to the more cosmetic side of things but if it's anything like my experience you got to go here!!

The services that I had done here I had at other offices but the results were wayyy better here. They make me feel so comfortable and the place is so clean. My experience at Dr. Marcia Hart Medical Aesthetics was a very positive one. Entering the door one is aware of the atmosphere of safety and calm. As I took a seat in the waiting room I was offered a drink of water by the receptionist and twice more by staff who were concerned I should be as comfy and served as well as possible. My appointment was with Pricilla Michaud. As an abuse victim I do not usually find these experiences easy but her quiet voice and competence soon put me at ease. From the moment her hands touched me, I felt my body begin to relax. Her approach was gentle but confident. She informed me ahead of time of each procedure which helped the 'surprise' element (very necessary for those with PTSD) and soon I knew I had to admit to myself that I was truly enjoying the experience. As it drew to a close I felt quite emotional in realizing that it was probably the first time I had been able to 'let go' and trust someone as explitedly as that. The relief and delight was indescribable and I credit Pricilla Michaud and the whole staff, setting etc. with the success of an excellent session.

I am so lucky to of come across Joni and this clinic! I had come down with a bad case of adult acne and was feeling so insecure. Joni took total care of me by prescribing the best treatment plan. To date, one of my favorite treatments is the micro needling; from crawling into the warm heated bed, to the relaxing arm massage while you wait for the numbing cream to kick it.. it definitely sounds worse then it is! All the staff ensure you leave smiling and feeling confident, even if your face is beat red! Highly recommend!

I attended Dr. Marcia Hart’s office recently. My experience was very impressive, knowing that she specializes in skin issues, I decided to book a microdermabrasion treatment with Olivia. Olivia was very knowledgeable and efficient and had a solid understanding of the products on site and advised which treatment would work particularly to one’s skin type. She explained the procedure in detail without rushing , as I’ve found most dermatologist practices whizz through a lot of important details thus patients feel nervous and anxious. After about a week and my Botox didn't work, I called and they asked me to come back in. She stuck me a few more times, but again (like the first time) she missed the middle frown line in between my brows even though I told her that my doctor in Vancouver (who is also my good friend) would always put three in the middle of my brow but Dr. Hartt insisted that the middle of my brow is not where the muscle is and it pulls from the sides. Sure enough, a few week later, the top of my forehead was good and frozen but the middle frown was still completely unfrozen. I called back and they asked me to come in AGAIN! This time I came prepared with my chart my Dr. friend had sent me to show Dr Hartt where I wanted her to stick me, but she refused. That is when she proceeded to tell me that what she gave me wasn't Botox but some other brand like Botox, but cheaper for her (but not for her patients)! She continued to explain that if you have had Botox in the past, this brand might not work on you. I was completely shocked that she had not been upfront in the first place! Still completely in shock that she lied to me and refused to stick me where I always used to get Botox, I walked out to the front where she proceeded to CHARGE ME! Again, guess what...the middle frown lines didn't work, huge surprise! Not only did she give me some other drug that was not Botox without telling me, she made me pay for the third round after she couldn't deliver the desired results for the third time. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO DR HARTT'S RESPONSE: 1. When someone books an appointment asking for Botox and comes in and tells you that their friend who is a Dr. in Vancouver injected them with Botox and that's what you would like, you have the duty to tell them that they are not getting Botox. Leaving it to be discovered in the "small print" in the lengthy forms that patients sign is very shady. 2. You 100% told me that Dysport is cheaper for you and you prefer to use it, those were your words, I remember it very clearly because I remember thinking how crazy it was that you told me the price differences. 3. You've completely lied about me coming back the third time and saying that the treatment was perfect, if it was perfect, tell me why I had to bring in my chart from my Dr. friend to show you where you should be sticking me? And tell me why you had to reveal to me that maybe it wasn't working because you weren't using Botox? 4. Anytime I received Botox in Vancouver the minimum time it would last was 4 months (16 weeks), if you just do a general google search it says Botox is supposed to last a minimum of 3 months (12 weeks) up to 6 months so obviously I knew something was wrong when I started seeing a lot of movement after a few weeks AGAIN. I must not have called in right away as I also have a life and things to do but I do recall that once I finally called in, I couldn't get in to see you for another while because you were on vacation! So coming in 10 weeks later is mainly because you were on vacation and I have things to do and can't keep coming way out to your clinic every other week for you to fix your screw ups. 5. You say "this time you asked to use Botox"...NO...that is when you finally told me that you were giving me something other than Botox. Obviously Botox is what I wanted originally so of course I would say yes I want Botox this time! (I wanted Botox all of the times I came to see you, not the "softer/cheaper" version, Dysport!). It finally all made sense to me as to why it wasn't working and when I told my Dr. in Vancouver, she said that's ridiculous that you wouldn't have told me in the beginning! I was so angry at the appointment that I thought for sure there would be no way you would be charging me because you basically lied to me about what you we're giving me and still couldn't get the middle frown line to freeze. I almost complained at the front desk but felt so awkward so I just paid and walked out. Please please be ethical and tell your patients that they're not getting Botox when they verbalize that they want Botox!

Dr. Hartt is phenomenal and exceptionally honest. She will tell you if a procedure is worth it or not and explain all the possible complications that can arise. It is extremely concerning, in my opinion, if you ask a doctor about a more complex procedure and they tell you “sure, no problem. Everything will be perfect”. A good doctor is one who is overly educated on what can go wrong and exactly how to prevent it. Also, a good doctor is humble enough to tell you when they are not comfortable performing a procedure if the risk outweighs the benefit. For what I have had done with her so far, I am extremely impressed. She is very conservative so the results are as natural as possible. I find a lot of clinics claim to do the same, yet clients leave looking like they’ve notably had work done. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Hartt. Thank you!

DO NOT GO HERE. Dr. Marcia uses dysport... a cheap knock off version of BOTOX. I was wondering why they didn’t sign me up for a Botox rewards program and why my wrinkles did not go away. If they want to use dysport then fine but they should probably let someone know that! It costs less for them but they charge the same amount. Very very disappointed in this place.

Overall the Spa is beautiful. The skin care products they use and sell are top end. The receptionist that booked my appointment was very friendly and the initial impression was really good. I went to my appointment very excited for a spa day! I personally seen Joni at the spa for a facial and found her to be quite rude. She didn't make me feel welcome or comfortable in general. She gave me the impression she did not like me from the moment we had a consultation and my whole appointment just felt awkward. I left my appointment feeling the opposite of how I would have liked for an afternoon at the spa. The next day, unexpectedly, I also had broken capillaries down one side of my face/ neck from the machine she used on me. When I contacted the office the following day to let them know, Joni was quite defensive. If there was no operator error, why were there broken capillaries only on once side of my face/ neck? I have not been back since. This is due to 1. Joni just making me feel unwelcome 2. Lack of customer service. After having discussions with other friends that have been to the clinic and seen Joni as well, I felt inclined to write this review because I don't feel anyone should pay for a service to end up leaving feeling unwelcome and upset.

I told her what I wanted and she was honest and up front with what’s the best way to get the results I want and the cost. And she is willing to follow up with her clients and fix what might be needed. I’ve also seen Rochelle who’s started at the clinic doing Botox. She is as amazing as Dr. Hartt. They both are on the same page! I thank both of them every time I come in because it’s a real confidence booster.

Late review of my experience (consult) of the clinic and treatment.Overall was decent - greeted promptly to a clean beautiful space, was informed and educated about the injection procedure I desired from Dr.H. I would of booked had I not been propositioned for every skin care product or spa treatment which made the experience feel tacky. I think it might work for a place like this but where there is more competition in bigger cites from experience , spas/clinic's that do this usually are profit before patient. It's a shame to walk in with one issue and feel like you have 5 when you leave.
