Dr. Adina is the best! I was having a hard time finding a female doctor when I 1st moved here and once I met her I knew she was great. She really cares and values her patient. I'd rather wait to see her with any issue I have than go to emerg or walk in. I've also seen Dr. Yasin a few times and he was really sweet. He took great care the 1st few weeks of my pregnancy until I was referred out. The front staff are the sweetest, we are always having a good laugh when I'm on my way out and they love seeing my son and me when we check in. Honestly can't stop saying nice things about Crescent Medica . Definitely an amazing clinic.

I saw the Doctor. A female resident, after conferences and examinations the Doctors sent me to emergency. Spot on call on what seemed a minor sore ear. After treatment by emergency and ambulatory services I am and the Doctors are all sure we can just complete some antibiotics and move along. Walk in or call them to book some time. While they take new clients now, one can t always feel they are in such competent and empathetic care. Trust these folks are careful, qualified and will get it right for you. Doctors for everyone, male and female Doctors, with many other holistically supplied services in house. Thank you all so much.

This review is long overdue. I came into Dr. Yasin's office a few years ago asking for a refill on heartburn medication because I was heading to a wedding in Cuba. I had a sore calf and thought it was odd because it had been sore for 2 weeks. He had a quick look and diagnosed a possible blood clot. Sure enough, after a blood test and an emergency ultrasound that same day, it was confirmed I had a blood clot behind my knee. It was considered very risky to take a long flight and had to cancel. Had Dr. Yasin not diagnosed this blood clot, I may not been able to write this review today. Thank you very much Dr. Yasin! I refer everyone I can to you because you do care and everyone that has gone to you, has thanked me. You're a very humble man and a blessing you me and my family.

I struggled to find a new family doctor after my family doc of 20+ years retired. After a few false starts with other doctors I met Dr. Adina for a meet and greet a few years ago and have been impressed. Historically I had been a healthy person but a few things have come up. Dr Adina has explored these with me by referring to specialists as needed and meeting me to "bring it all together". The office is clean, the front staff have been friendly, and my appointments are usually on time. When I first met Dr. Adina at this clinic, my only concern was the street parking, but that has not been an issue.

Dr. Adina is my primary care physician, as well as my infant son’s. We both adore her and are more than satisfied with the quality of care we receive. I am thankful to have a Dr that is both curious and thorough! She helped me sort out a misdiagnosis from a previous Dr. and made referrals to specialists to really clarify what was going on for me- such a breath of fresh air! The only downside of the clinic is lack of wheelchair accessible doors- difficult to navigate a stroller with and for those with ability barriers.

The doctors in this location are grade-A, so there's no concern there. There is also easy access to public transit if needed. The waiting room is sufficiently spaced out and kept quite clean. My major concern with this location is the administrative staff. It's been promised several times that information or requisitions would be faxed to a testing center "immediately" on the phone, however it would still take days for this information to be transmitted. In the most recent occurrence, the doctor called and requested blood tests "asap", then after being transferred to the admin staff, they explicitly claimed "I'll fax the request over immediately after the call". The call took place around noon, then when when attempting to access lab services the next morning (at 06:30 because we were instructed to walk-in), we were turned away because the fax hadn't been received.

I would not recommend this doctor's office! They are unorganized and do not follow-up when they need to. I had to pay to a fee to transfer my medical records out when the reason was because I needed a female doctor instead of a male doctor. I do not trust them with my health or anything for that matter. DO NOT go to this doctor. There are plenty of other great doctors in the same area. If I could give less than one star I would.

Dr. Adina was my primary physician for the past 2 1/2 years. She's been amazing and is always concerned about my low iron levels and is always willing to go the extra distance. I've always had doctors say my low iron was because of my periods, but I knew something was up. It took 23 years and Dr.Adina to finally do something about it for me to get tested and confirmed for celiac disease. I've never felt better (even though I still have other things that were being tested for iron). The staff in the FOH were awesome as well. If I wasnt moving to Ontario then I would still be coming here. What the government is doing to healthcare is cruel and cuts back on what the great doctors at this clinic can do.

Been coming here for about a year now to see Dr. Adina. She has been incredibly supportive with regards to my mental health and its impact. Not many doctors are concerned with mental health, but she is definitely one I can trust. And she admits when she doesn't know something but refers you to the appropriate specialist. Definitely recommend if you don't have a psychiatrist and are looking for a family doctor that cares.

I had an appointment to meet with Dr. Amira as a new patient. I did NOT meet with her after 25 minutes of waiting. After 15 minutes of waiting I asked 5he staff how long would be the wait. I've been told that they are waiting for a room. A second after I was told that, front desk lady got up, and got me a room....why lie? I told lady at front desk that I cannot wait to much longer as I have to be somewhere. Then, I was waiting in a room for another 10 minutes. The doctor didn't show up. I had to leave after spending 20 minutes driving one direction and 25 minutes waiting. And I was the only patient waiting, there was NOBODY there! This is not professional at all. They are not valuing others people time! I am Not reccomend this place to any one!

It often takes over a week before one is able to book a minor routine appointment with Dr Adina C. This is unfortunate for patients that require prompt medical direction from the doctor they know and trust. After posting this review (which originally had more stars) I received a call from Dr. Adina who was upset about my review. It is interesting that although she did not have the time to return my call 4 days prior, when I had asked to speak to her directly about the concerns of reception staff not screening and booking urgent priority appointments (leading to my first review), her schedule miraculously opened up and she was able to fit in a 20 minute phone call to reprimand me about my review. I will say that Dr. Adina seemed to be professional and her clinic competent when I first started seeing her two years ago. Shortly after my file was transferred to her, Dr Adina went a a year long maternity leave. Since her return, she only works Tuesday and Thursday, which has obviously impacted her overal practice as well as her patients. Additionally, the reception staff are not compassionate and are unwilling to make exceptions for patients that need to be seen more urgently that 8 days.

Not impressed with how my first visit went last Thursday with Dr Constantinescu and my greeting by the MOA assistant as I had arrived in the office that morning for my FIRST appointment ever I had told the MOA that I had explained to before even arriving that I just moved to Alberta from BC and that I was looking for a family doctor she said dr Constantinescu WAS accepting new patients when arriving Thursday morning the MOA had me fill out forms and paperwork and as I was doing that dr Constantinescu came up to the MOA at the front and told her RIGHT in front of me that I AM NOT accepting new patients!!! And that she has no more room for one more patient you guys had completely wasted my time and told me FALSE information on the phone about how DR Adina C WAS indeed taking new patients then I have the MOA give me a dirty look and kinda giggled to herself so unprofessional I was going there to get a doctor for me and my father who will also not be coming to this clinic very very unprofessional. Bad business! Never been treated so rude in my life. Way to welcome a newcomer to Alberta I will never go back to this clinic again!

I chose this clinic because of they're reasonable walkin wait times and good Google reviews.The nurse at reception was lovely. Very accommodating and helpful. I got in very quickly and saw the doctor. The room was definitely not sound proof as you could hear everything in reception. I was given a prescription but found out from the pharmacist that it was under the name of a different patient. Furthermore, the dosage for one of medications was incorrect. The pharmacy called the clinic to address the issue and request a corrected script (name and dosage). When the fax finally came, the name was my maiden name and dosage was not corrected. Thankfully my pharmacist has a strong attention to detail. I would strongly encourage new patients to confirm their prescription prior to leaving. This was not a great first impression and I will not be back.

Do not recommend this place for mental health. Backstory: I moved to Calgary a few months ago and found Dr. Amira during my search. Despite the many negative reviews however, she was the only one to call back saying that she was taking patients during Covid-19. In my first few visits, Dr. Amira was very kind and understanding, however that was soon to change. A few days ago, I called regarding a prescription refill for my Depression medications as soon as the clinic opened that day. Dr. Amira is fully aware of my condition and upon hearing it, promised to refill the prescription the same day as she was aware I was without. However, as I waited, my pharmacist had to keep apologizing for not receiving it. Later on, I would find out it wasn't refilled because the notes taken during my appointments were not even accurate! Dr. Amira had to actually call me about my prescription dosage! Shouldn't the files say that? What if I had a memory issue? Or was in the hospital? This stuff should be recorded. However, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, as she promised to be filling it right after our call. The following day, I was a mess. I had now been over 48 hours without my medications and was desperate to get them. I called the pharmacist over and over, as I knew Dr. Amira had promised yesterday she was doing it. By the end of the day, the pharmacist called me to tell me she had still not refilled. Today, 3 days after I originally called, I called back as soon as the clinic opened to see what was going on. Immediately, the receptionist didn't even answer and I was automatically put on hold for 8 minutes. Once she answered, I was able to explain my frustrations as this is depression medication for my severe diagnosed depression, and how I was promised it Monday. The receptionist responded rudely that she would do it immediately and then simply hung up on me. No other communication. I was shocked. Never would I have expected such a response from the person who is supposed to be the front person of this clinic. Especially, as I was crying on the phone and instead of recognizing the clinics mistake, she responded in annoyance. Sorry my mental health is such a burden for a doctors office. Ridiculous. I ended up calling back multiple times to which I said I wanted a meeting with Dr. Amira herself to discuss this: 1) How she failed to refill my prescription despite saying she would. 2) How she failed to keep updated notes on my condition and did not even have the proper dosage written down. She wanted to give me 2 when I take 4 pills a day. 3) How her receptionist was disrespectful and rude to a client suffering for your mistake and 4) How your receptionist was able to fill it in seconds on the phone call. Why did she not due it before during the multiple times I called? If it was so easy, why am I struggling over here due to you not doing anything? I have already cancelled my appointment for tomorrow and am going to be looking for a new doctor. This was very unprofessional and honestly heartbreaking. Doctors are supposed to help, not fail to provide medications due to receptionists laziness.

This is a great clinic. Very thorough Doctors who always do a proper physical examination and efficient front end staff. My wife and kids have all had excellent experiences. Furthermore it is very clean and has reasonable wait times. Some of the walk-in clinics and multiple family physician clinics in this city are borderline unsanitary.

Dr. Kang is the best. Not only is she quick and punctual, she will listen to all your concerns and take the appropriate steps to get to the bottom of things with you. It is very unpleasant experience in this clinic, I called to make appointment at 1:45, and wait for more than half hour the doctor did not show up. my son keep crying and no one told me how long it will be. Why tell me 1:45 in the phone? Really waste my time. Will never visit again

I've been a patient of Dr. Adina Constantinescu for about 2.5 years. She is the best, most incredible and carrying doctor I have ever had!! She is always on time, very knowledgeable and her answers to my ignorant questions are always on point. I had contacted COVID during the first wave and I was quite ill; one of my symptoms was severe nausea which cased me to get dehydrated and weak really fast as I was not able to keep the liquids down; I refused to check into the hospital so she faxed a prescription to the pharmacy and made sure I received it in the same day which stopped my nausea within 24 hours. Not to mention, this AMAZING doctor called me every day until I assured her I was OK and on my way to recovery. Clinic staff is very professional and always nice. Crescent Medical and Dr. Adina, thank you very much for your outstanding services!
