As you know, we don't usually bother to place evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Doctor is included in the category of Medical clinic.
Very professional office with great staff. Dr.Cote is the best and i would recommend this office to anyone
Reception and doctors have always been courteous. Often will do their best to see us on short notice. They have also phoned with test results. This has been a great doctor's office.
Been a going to my Dr. since I was 17, never had issues until they moved and got that receptionist, she has never treated us nice, never polite to us, every time we go see my Dr. she has a rude attitude, don't know if is just us or she treats everyone like that , but the ladies at my Dr.'s office area are awesome, just have to get past the rotten lady in the front that hates people
The doctor is good, but the nurses seem to be incompetent, or at the very least, inattentive and horribly disorganized. My partner was in for a serious issue, not routine care, and the office did not call him to inform him of his test results, nor did they speak to the doctor about his calls. If he hadn't been on top of everything, he would have been utterly neglected. He was in for a serious issue and yet his test results were ignored. Incredibly disappointing. Expect to have to continually remind staff and badger them for follow-ups. Update July 29: the clinic has gotten in touch and promised to review their processes. Hopefully that will make a difference. I will update my review further if they get back to me on what processes they updated or changed to keep this from happening again.
I was a patient for 30+ years, Fundytus delivered me, quit going to him mostly because of how unaccommodating the reception staff were when he moved offices several years back. Still hate calling them, very short, very rude.
So rude receptionist!
I would encourage the current receptionist to reflect on her approachability and tone of voice. I have observed and experienced her to be curt and she comes across as being annoyed when you ask her a question.
If you have a serious illness. Stop seeing dr punch. I have never gave reviews on any thing. But this is very important. Be careful
Reception was very rude. Not impressed at all.
Absolutely awful staff. Doctors are good but the receptionists are so horribly rude and incompetent. Changing appointments hours before without informing that they also changed the date of the appointment. When asked, all they had to say is “we can’t do anything about you being here”. After they neglected to tell me that they also changed the date of the appointment not just the time like they had told me over the phone. All they said was “can you come at 1:30 instead of 10am” when I show up, apparently it’s a different day too. Will unfortunately be changing doctors after 11 years because the staff here is so horribly disrespectful and incompetent.
Receptionist was very rude, made fun of my last name, makes me want to switch dr offices. Terrible customer service skills.
We love our family doctor which is why we stay but reception has ALWAYS been absolutely awful in my opinion. There is always a miserable tone from the start of the conversation. I had the unfortunate experience of talking to one of the front desk staff the other day and she was less than helpful, she was rude and simply unprofessional. Many of the front desk staff shouldn’t be working with the public at all. So disappointing and unpleasant.
We’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Dr. Unryn is a caring and diligent doctor and we feel lucky to have him as our family doctor. We haven’t had a problem with the office staff. In fact one time when our daughter was 3 and kicking up a fuss about going to the doctor because she was scared, I phoned ahead to let them know we’d be a bit late and they accommodated us. They made a big fuss of my daughter for being brave and gave her a bingo toy at the end.
I called three times too confirm an appt. with my doctor. First and second time, I waited 20 min. .with the wait message, repeating and repeating and repeating........ The third time I waited 10 minutes and, someone answered! I was angry when talking to the receptionist and was told "We don't tolerate abuse here'". Abuse??!!! My angry reaction was a natural response to an incompetent phone system and lack of staff at the front desk because this has been going on for some time. Staff need to learn how to deflect and calm and not accuse someone of abuse when a voice is raised. Good grief, what has happened to this clinic? If it wasn't for the great doctor I have, I would try to find another another. During my conversation with the receptionist, I was told some employees had to be let go and those remaining are being kept busy because of the lack of staff. So, in a sense, one could say that the clinic's disorganization is abusing the patient's expectations for a well-run and professional front staff. Please don't use excuse's like" We are experiencing a higher than normal call volume" or "Well, it is the day after the long weekend and we are busy" (how do account for the same treatment any other day?) and, "This Co-vid situation has made it difficult for us to operate because of lack of staff". Stop giving excuses and get to the solution, please.
My husband and I have been Dr Unryn's patients for over five years. Dr Unryn is very professional, always takes the time to listen and gives you the best advices, you never feel rushed. Dr Unryn is very knowledgeable, kind, he is one of the best doctor we had over the years. We feel privileged to be his patients. Thank you Dr Unryn we love you.
No more awful reception they changed everything. I was there last week there are a few of them now They were helpful and friendly even tho they were very busy.
A very professionally run medical facility. Staff and doctors are very caring and take the time to listen to patient concerns.
I really enjoyed the nurses and Dr. Unryn when I saw him while my doctor was away a couple of times; a good thing about this clinic is if your doctor is away there is usually always someone who can see you. My doctor has since sent a notice for retirement but I think it is a good opportunity to try and find someone else. My husband was seeing Dr. Punch and he went in multiple times about chronic pain. After x-rays and such all he told him he didn't see anything and he should go to physio (which he wouldn't even write an RX for so it could be covered by benefits) and suggested narcotics. His pain was so much that he was not satisfied with the response and didn't want to sign up for an indefinite lifetime of narcotic use. We sought out a second opinion through a sports medicine doctor that immediately looked at his x-rays and knew there was a problem. A year later he is scheduled for major back surgery. This is borderline malpractice in my opinion and Dr. Punch should be ashamed. I also saw Dr. Punch once as a stand in for my doctor being away (he was rarely there) and when I got to the pharmacy I realized he had given me another patient's prescription. I don't know if he just doesn't care or they are too busy and it's taking a toll on their quality of service but it's been a pretty bad experience overall. Furthermore, my husband got a note about his doctor, who was some women we never heard of, moving from the CPCC to a new clinic and that they would be transferring his files. They don't seem to handle people's personal info very well.
I have been with the Primary Care clinic for 15+ years, my daughter for three, and my parents (now deceased) for many years prior. I can understand that doctors retire, but four at once without contingency for the patients is something I don't understand. I have been told to look elsewhere. Notices were sent to the patients, however after 12 years at my current address they got the address wrong. After the notice was returned to sender I received a call a week later from the clinic, now more than a month from the date on the letter. She could not understand the problem with the address, I explained the postal code is required. I was told doctors are not taking new patients, look elsewhere. Problem is I am not a new patient with this clinic. I contacted the clinic twice after the initial call only to be treated rudely by receptionist for the doctor that I was seeing, she told me to look elsewhere. There are no other doctors accepting new patients Cochrane. So, I am guessing that the Primary Care Clinic will not be hiring new doctors, or that my family is simply not welcome.
Perfect 10 to all the wonderful Doctors there. The reception staff shouldn't be dealing with people with that kind of attitude. Perhaps, in a cubicle away from human contact where they don't have to be "bothered" would be more suitable for that kind of bedside manner.
