Dr. Souster is my new hero!! My right knee replacement has made my life 100 times better!! His team is a well oiled machine! They were extremely organized and made this experience go smoothly. I am so grateful for Dr. Souster's skills and genuine caring nature!!!!

Very effective and efficient. Dr. Kosak knows his stuff, and his advice can be trusted. Wait times for orthopedic surgeons in this province are bound to be longer than one wishes, but this clinic tries to minimize wait times as much as possible. Also, appointment times are adhered to really well. Very close to Red Deer hospital, if surgery (and follow-up) is required.

Dr wolstenholme is an unbelievable surgeon. He didnt beat around the bush with me and told me exactly what I needed to know and what to do to insure that I recovered to the best of my abilities. I followed his orders and now my broken and torn ankle feels even better then my unbroken ankle. I'm fortunate to of had such a great outcome and with such a great surgeon. Thanks again

Dr Korbyl is an absolute brilliant surgeon ...His bed side manner is second to none, the time he spends with each patient is amazing and he will not let you down. I had a breezy time in the hospital, I had surgery on June 21st and came home on June 22..he came to visit me after surgery and walked me through once again what I needed to do once I got home.and was there at my discharge .Still limping and taking it easy and the PT..long road to recovery all the way around, it was a great experience all the way, Wait times for surgery are crazy all over Canada, not just Alberta!

I had two surgeries my foot has been totally ruined first surgery wasn't so bad but the surgeon pulled out the pain is too soon I could say Easley a month you soon and my foot is in such bad shape I am buying things to make my toes work and having to buy super expensive shoes to make up for a good job I'm very disappointed in the hospital after surgery the nurses didn't tell me how do I handle the pans and I felt like I was being booted out of the doctors office he wasn't willing to wait a little longer tomorrow my toes to heal quickly before pulling up pants my toes I feel like I wish I could sue

I have high hopes Dr.Myburgh gets chronic back pain, thus interrupting his source of income; Just to be tossed away and canceled on with no remorse when he really needs it. My favorite thing about this whole year wasted was his assistant informing me he refuses to sign a paper saying I need a back brace for my insurance because "he doesn't believe in them." If a back brace won't help, you'd think with your degree, networking and human DECENCY, you could at least POINT ME in the right direction instead of getting your assistant to call me wishing me luck and and kindly never call there again. OR MAYBE KEEP AN EYE ON ME AND BOOK ME ANOTHER MRI TO SEE IF ITS GETTING BETTER MAYBE? You call yourself a doctor?

Dr Korbyl and Dr Pearce are amazing!! And their nurses are top notch. Ive had 2 surgeries and would never dream of putting my health in anyone else's hands!

Dr. Pearce is a fabulous surgeon. I refer to him as an ortho-god. As a gentleman in my 50's, I was slow to heal a broken tibia that Dr. Pearce "nailed". He recommended an ultrasonic bone stimulator that expedited the healing process. Back on the golf course in good time!

Be careful. This dr. doesn't do his research. His main concern is to promote pharmaceuticals that are known to harm, and criticize healthy life saving options like Ivermectin. He does this to promote himself and his comfort. He cares nothing for the people and whether they die or not.

Awful experience, go to CAMIS for PRP injection. I was referred to a great specialist for my knee, she was very professional. It was suggested to me to try PRP (Plasma injection) to assist my knee to heal itself, great... i was very excited! I made several attempts to make an appointment at this office for PRP and finally getting an appointment book took 6 calls the last of which I had to listen to the nurse on charge of PRP yelling me how stressful her job is and that she "does everything"... fair enough. Fast forward to injection day, the "everything nurse" was not able to draw blood after several attempts.... I was encouraging and supportive, asking her to take some deep breaths so she could get out of her own head. After a second failed attempt, followed by 20 minutes rubbing my arms all over with alcohol wipes she finally asked another nurse to try. The second nurse was even less experienced and drove the need through the vein, continuing to "stab around in my arm until the pain was too much. I have never had an issue when donating blood or getting blood draws (never had anyone miss before). While all this was happening I realized I was in a small room (like where you get eyebrows waxed) there was no XRay equipment.... I realized I had lost confidence in this nurse. If she couldnt do a basic blood draw how could I trust her to inject anything into my knee.... I walked out! I called CAMIS right away and found the phone conversation to be extremely professional and was told that the XRay will be used just as when they do cortisone injections.... I suggest CAMIS to anyone!

The only reason I give them a star is to post a review. Dr Rodych on my first vist assured me that I would be able to receive knee replacement surgery because of deterioration of my knees, but on my second visit only seemed to want to sell me on a $4000 dollar brace for my knee, also told me no surgeon would even be interested in treating my for knee replacement surgery, absolutely do not recommend seeing this so called "doctor"

I’ve been waiting since October of last year and they are telling me I won’t get in until maybe December of this year if I’m lucky. That is with a referral from my doctor.

My father got a hip replacement over a year ago from DR. TIMOTHY J. Pearce from Central Alberta Orthopedics. Dr. Pearce accidently sliced my dad's sciatic nerve during the surgery. Despite going to physical therapy and trying to get the nerve to regenerate, he no longer can feel his leg from the knee down. My dad can no longer flex his foot upward, so his gait is very slow and awkward now. His leg is ruined and this has permanently changed his life for the worse. He was not ready to retire yet, as he was not ready financially to do so. However, his inability to move around now has greatly diminished his chances of getting a job now. He has to sell his house now because he cannot afford it, as he can no longer work. In addition, this has caused my father a lot of psychological anguish. I want to warn other people of this doctor, so this doesn't happen to them.

I waited almost a month of being told that they won't discuss wait times and will send me a letter. There is no way to find out any information. I finally got my doctor to send a referral elsewhere. If there was a way to give no stars I would have done it. Just go to Edmonton or Calgary if you want anything to happen.

Just got a phone call (Sept. 25, 2018) concerning an appointment for my left hip replacement referral which was sent in on Jan. 23, 2017. Only took 20 months for them to call me. When I contacted them in July, 2017 to see what my status was on the wait list, I was informed they had no record of my referral. My doctor's office was willing to provide proof the fax was sent and received in January. When I asked if I could be credited with the 6 months I had waited, I was told "no". They then sent me a form letter indicating my wait time was going to be 10-12 months. Spent all that time in pain limping around. These wait times at Central Alberta Orthopedics are a disgrace. I have little faith in Alberta Health Services as a result. Maybe that's why there are approximately 20 orthopedic surgeons listed in Great Falls, Montana.

The staff are amazing and all ways friendly

Dr. Pearce is a terrible doctor with no manners and a terrible bedside manor. I was told my only option was to have a knee replacement and he said I need to lose weight and that he wouldn't do the surgery DO NOT GO TO HIM FOR ANYTHING AND IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE SO, I FEEL BAD FOR YOU

Pat Sawyer

It took a long time to get in to see a surgeon, I by fluke got in on a cancellation, Dr. Beurlein was great. Now I have real bad left shoulder pain to deal with until surgery date, he told me that if it persists to call him, It's a bit of a wait to see him but well worth it. His booking woman Fiona is a old hag that just talks over you and you end up in a phone fight or meeting his assistant Quinn who is a sweetheart. Fiona has a message on her voicemail that's real discouraging, it just makes it sound like your going to get wound up in a stalled health care system, you can tell by the message you in for a real wait for a call back or appointment. It's really depressing when you live in such pain.

I had my hand cut off and reattached last year by these guys. I’m having issues with my hand, supposed to be getting surgery done, and cannot get an appointment. I had a terrible experience with a doctor’s assistant who refused to give me an appointment, even after physiotherapist referred me; she was adamant that I needed another surgeon’s referral .... but I can’t get that appointment without a referral either. She was very rude and rash towards me from the start to the end of the pointless phone call. I need to work very closely with my doctors to ensure the proper reattachment. An assistant is making this impossible for me... just need to see the doc that did my surgery. Someone help me!!

Angella Kehler

Dr. Aly and his assistant Moe always treat me with tender loving care, because they really do care. Dr. Aly is very patient and explained everything well making sure I understood all options. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Eric Pfeifer

Dr Pearce and his assistant are horrible medical professionals. It was like pulling teeth to get my WCB documents filled out. Nearly impossible to contact them any time of the day or week. I had surgery with pins in my wrist, it was painful and uncomfortable the whole recovery and still not certain it’s healed properly. Dr Pearce didn’t seem to care about any issues during the recovery. I had to get a cast removed after 2 weeks due to it being to tight. He would walk in to the patient room with just my name on a sticky note and look at me and say “everything looks fine.” I’m not even sure he knew why I was there. I do not recommend Central Alberta Orthopedics.

Elizabeth Herring

Dr. Gaudelli is a bad doctor. She gave incomplete information and does not explore all surgical options, even though they are available. She did not fully answer concerns of mobility after surgery.. This was extremly concerning and instilled even more fear in this already stressful process. FIND A DIFFERENT DOCTOR.
