Dr. Katia Tonkin yelled at me and accused me of being a drug dealer. I have had a prescription for medical marijuana for 6 years now. By AB standards, it might be considered on the high side, but in BC its mid-range. It was first given to me at a pain clinic, here in AB, for moderate scoliosis also an arthritic condition, osteoarthritis, bone spurs ( my sacrum is completely fused to several vertebrae)and a nasty case of fibromyalgia that keeps me bedridden up to 5 days a week. I have asthma and cannot smoke my prescription i make strong tinctures and RSO(Rick Simpson Oil takes a pound each batch), i juice, i eat edibles....... not that any this matter, because none of this was discussed before DR.Katia Tonkin began raising her voice at me, repeating herself over and over “I WILL NOT EVER IN MY LIFE SIGN A ___ AMOUNT...”She repeated this 7 or 8 times even though I was not asking or begging her to change her mind, I simply asked if she knew my condition and if she could refer me to another clinic. I was humiliated, scolded, accused of selling my prescription and ultimately had a prescription thrown at me, by this time she had opened the door and began furiously discussing my personal information with the entire office and full waiting room. This was not a heated conversation, i was barely speaking, literally crying, only quietly pointing out the degrees of my illnesses and handing over paperwork to show xray results and former medical prescriptions, i must mention Health Canada itself has been providing to this capacity for SIX YEARS. Yelling and accusations aside, this is a place sick people come for help, not to be judged by someone who ADMITTEDLY does not know anything about condensed form of marijuana, she could not even refer me to another location (she claimed she couldn’t name any) Im shocked that someone so uneducated and unwilling to learn about medical marijuana’s uses, someone so judgemental and vial tempered is in charge of its distribution. A complaint will certainly be filed with the Board of Physicians.

This place is soooooo frustrating. I’m a medical marijuana patient, using it for cancer symptoms, and it has been beyond inconvenient for me to work through this organization. First of all, it’s been so hard to get a scheduled appointment. Nobody answers the phones. (Because of this, my prescription ran out and couldn’t be renewed for almost two months.) Then, when I finally have an appointment booked, they are constantly late by at least 30 minutes to an hour from the scheduled appointment time. (This is only my third appointment and I’m writing this from the waiting room as I’m 30+ minutes past my scheduled time, for the third time.) Do your patients a favour, and call them to say you’re super behind! I don’t have time for this. Also- the “counsellor” has very little knowledge about cannabis, strains and what the benefits of different types are. Use any other place, but stay away from these clinics.

I had a great visit. The reception was nice and welcoming. The Dr. I met with was very informative and helpful since I am going off of all my epilepsy meds and replacing them with thc oils and cannibis. This change is going great with no siezers to report . My pain from tendons tearing is under control, CBD oils are awesome for my diverticulitis. I have my end game of being off all pharmaceutical medications. Their meds have recked my tendons and left me in severe pain. Cannibis has given me hope for all of my health issues. Thank you for everything.

They have no respect for people’s time, I showed up early with more then enough time to complete any required paperwork and then waited. And waited. And waited. Until 30 mins after my appointment time at which point I left. I don’t care who you are, my time and the time of others is dear and needs to be respected.

Purposely overbooks on a daily basis, leading to a 2+ hour wait. Ridiculous. Last appointment I waited here for four hours, I was hopeful it was a one time thing but here I am, in a packed waiting room, already an hour passed my appointment time with at least eight people ahead of me.

I have had wonderful experiences with this clinic. Every appt I've had has been quick efficient. The doctor was amazing to answer all my questions before starting cannabis to help with my medical problems. My prescriptions are always refilled on time so I don't need to wait. I came to dr Ali for help because no other meds worked, he was completely disrespectful and did not listen to a word I said and talked over me for 2 hours. Overall complete waste of my time.

So far im pretty disappointed. I have been trying to deal with this Clinic that's in Ontario for processing since the end of March beginning of April. It took a while for them to receive my email with my referral that I filled out. Then it took another couple of weeks for them to fax my doctor's office to get the information they needed sent back to them. My doctor's office has fax them three times now to both fax numbers and they're still haven't received anything. Even though on my doctor's office end it shows that the information has gone through and has been received. I still get told it could take 7 to 10 business days for them to receive it. That does not make any sense. I will give it 3 to 5 more days and if they still haven't received any one of those three fax's my doctor has sent I think I'm just going to give up. To me things seem so disorganized. I'm sorry but that's my two cents. Thanks. If things change I will re rate and review.

Dr Feelgood to all the doctors in this field. Had a fish tackle box full of pills. Thank God for CBD oil. In 18 years not been able to do tip toes. Now I can do it with no problem. I don't need someone to grab something high up. Now I can stand on my tippy toes. It's really a miracle. Thank you for turning me on to the CBD oil.

Couldn't hear anything during my entire phone interview. Which was my third reschedule to get said phone interview. Company is owned by Aurora Cannabis, didn't know this before I was referred, would never have come and followed through if I'd know what type of company I was getting myself into bed with.

My first appt was cancelled an hour and a half before I was to see the doctor. I had driven 3.5 hours the night before, and spent the night in a hotel to be in time for my appointment. Apparently the doctor wasn’t coming in. I understand that the doctor may have had a good excuse, but the clinic should have squeezed me in with the other doctor in the clinic. I’m still in pain. Haven’t rescheduled my appointment. Very disappointed. If I had been the one to cancel on such short notice, I would have been charged a fee.
