I came here to do all of my immigration Medical Exam and the staff was really nice, same with my doctor. The wait was a little long for the maybe 10 minutes I saw the doctor, but thats the case pretty much anywhere you go. Literally, my only qualm with them was the fact that I had to wait over 3 weeks after my exam for my results to be sent in. I called every few days and was told they were waiting on the Doctor to sign off on my paper work before finally, the sweet receptionist told me she would make sure it got signed since I kept calling in. Literally, other than that one thing, this place was great.

I've been seeing Dr Mentz for years and she is wonderful. Every time we talk, she's got a new piece of research to cite and offers very insightful views. She will also debate with me if we don't see eye to eye, rather than dismiss my uneducated opinions/concerns. Reception can be all over the place in terms of customer service, but usually positive. The office would be 100% better without Dr Van Der Merwe (my stars are ALL for Dr Mentz), with whom I have never had a good appointment. If Dr Mentz isn't available, we now go elsewhere; we (my husband, daughter, and I) would rather wait than see him. Maybe time to retire Dr Van Der Merwe?

The receptionist was absolutely kind and accommodating, Dr Johannesburg was far from helpful, I felt very judged, and he didnt even make eye contact while in his office and was told to come back later because I didn't have enough information.(test results) I went down the road on the same day to Mountain View Medical Clinic ( HIGHLY RECOMMEND) .. The doctors there pulled up my files with no issues and got me the PROPER healthcare and in for the tests I needed and that a patient is deserving of. Overall, the clinic seemed small and crammed, there are far better and more attentive doctors out there ! Keep looking!

Dr Mentz looked asked me if I had any questions about my treatment plan, directly asked me if I was personally okay with my treatment plan, filled me in on crucial details, and was very direct about things without any time-wasting nonsense while still being very kind and patient, and it was apparent that she even took an in-depth look into my details before my appointment. Honestly I feel like she remembered me and knew my exact situation almost like we were friends. It took a few appointments, but I am very happy with my visit and have decided to keep her as my permanent doctor as long as possible. Also, I have brought her multiple health issues and she has helped all of them, some of them even being pretty obscure. She is happy to indulge your anxiety and help you to get a better science-proven grasp on your health problems. I am impressed, and while I may have been unsure about her when I was younger, I am now very very happy with my treatment and would recommend her to anyone. Also having a pharmancy in the same building is a big plus. Keep up the great work! I appreciate you asking me how I feel about my treatment and asking if I have any questions more than anything else.

Bad experience!!! No Credit card can be used for a huge payment!!! Unacceptable!! Also the person who sit in the front office is rude too. Can't see a professional doctor also a disappointment!!! Will not visit again and will not recommend anyone to go there!!!

This is my first time not giving 5 stars in a review. In speaking with one of the receptionists, we had almost agreed upon a date for an immigration medical exam. She unfortunately did not introduce herself, so I don't know her name. In our conversation, I simply asked "would we be able to book tentatively, as I'd like to see if other offices have earlier slots available." I was appalled with the short tempered, disrespectful and downright nasty tone in her answer. Her response was nearly verbatim to "I am not going to waste my time going through all the information with you, just to have you cancel. You should've called other offices first. This is not how things work around here." Taken aback, I tried to cease the negative exchange by saying "okay, please stop, you could have said that more kindly" to which she briskly said "no" and hung up. I had to reflect for a bit after the phone call, as I had never had such an experience. She could have simply encouraged me to call other offices to gauge my options before maybe calling them back. I also understand that people occasionally have bad days at work, and I'm the type of person to extend grace and give others the benefit of the doubt. If you're feeling burnt out, self care is invaluable on your days off. It is so detrimental to the future success of a doctor' s office (or any business for that matter) to have such a callously unpleasant first interaction with the staff at reception. I understand that working in an industry that serves people is challenging. If your job entails working with the public, it is imperative to be tactful & to possess strong emotional regulation skills.

Came in for an immigration medical exam and waited 2 hrs. I already had an appointment and obviously appointment time didn’t matter. Other patients who came in way later than me were going in before me. There were total 5-6 patients that they pass through before me. Not organized at all!! I would not suggest this clinic.

Terrible waiting time. Came with 1 month old baby for check up wait for 2 hours and left. Been with this doctor couple of years. But when I come in everything is done in 2-3 minutes. Just terrible...

My partner was in a car accident the day before we suppose to come to this location for our immigration exam. I called them if we can cancel. The women who spoke the phone said "whatever,but no re book, once canceled and you will never allow to call us again." After she said that, i felt really not happy. i don't expect her to understand my feeling, but at least, be a good person. What my understanding is what's she said is on behalf of this clinic, she discrimination against foreigners， all they care is Money. i will never come to this clinic! Really disappointed.

Reception is great! Wait time is long. Have been going to this office for several years. Finally realized All this doctor cares about is money. Just gives me more and more pills each time. Won't make eye contact. Won't deal with 2 small issues.You have to make another appointment. He is not there a good portion of the time. Owns his own plane and flies off to South Africa and Cuba etc. Every time he gives you a new prescription he gets money back and every time you visit his office he gets about $130.00 from the government (not sure if this amount is correct). He requested a PET SCAN so I can go to a specialist, I was advised by reception the scan would be at South Campus (miles and miles away from here) at 6:00PM on August 16, so today is March 8. Then that means I have even a longer waiting time to see a specialist. If you ask a question he treats you like you are an idiot. I'm done with all these pills and his God complex. Going elsewhere. Probably won't release my files but I can deal with that later.

I needed to get a immigration physical so I came here and had the pleasure (sarcasm) of seeing Dr. Johann. He is super cold and barely made eye contact. I can get past the having no bedside manner since he's not my primary doctor, but hes racist! I often let racist comments go also but you are a doctor, if you don't like people, change your profession. He's the worst.

There are quite a lot of negative reviews for the male doctor, but I would like to say that Doctor Mentz is absolutely fantastic! She is quick, friendly, understanding, highly available, and an absolute expert. I have gone to her with multiple health concerns and she has always immediately known what the issue is and/or what the next steps I should take are. When I book an appointment to talk about a health concern I often get in within the next 3 days (with many options for times during the day), and things like physicals are never more than a week or two later. The reception is also amazing. They are incredibly friendly and good at what they do. My parents love Doctor Mentz as well, and she has been our family doctor for years.
