Dr. D'Souza was my father's physician at Kingswood Clinic. My dad initially saw him for back pain and abdominal pain and blood in his stool in 2017. He suggested cortisol injections and sent him to a physio therapist. My dad often felt rushed through and thought that this guy was pretty rude. But my dad is one of those people who trust their doctors and listened to this man. After 1 year of this course of treatment, with symptoms worsening he then sent my dad to a chiropractor. The chiropractor immediately told him to go back to the clinic to get an xray and bloodwork done before treatment. Dr. D'Souza refused. Dr. D'Souza also did not order any tests/bloodwork or anything over the course of my dad's treatment. My father then went to a walk in clinic and asked for an xray and that physician ordered bloodwork. Within 24 hours my father was asked to go to an ER for a blood transfusion. He was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He died 3 weeks later. He was 62 years old. The chiropractor knew something was really wrong, as my dad had 3 fractures in his spine because the cancer had spread to his bones. We were told, if this was caught, even 6 months earlier, my dad would have had a chance with treatment. All of his symptoms were consistent with symptoms of colo-rectal cancer. This doctor, and his lack of care, experience and grossly inflated ego, essentially robbed us of my dad. Unapologetically. The ER doctor who told us this news was in shock and in tears and had never seen anything like this before. Dr. D'Souza was a freshly minted doctor, I think only just finishing his residency when he took my dad on. Dr. D'Souza went to some joke medical school in the Caymen Islands...and it looks like he also may be a pro-lifer. Shame on U of C for letting this guy through. Research this doctor and advocate for your health and the health of your loved ones.

This office has no ethics and is very unconcerned about patients and there health. Booked an appointment couple of weeks ago because of back injury needed a 5 minute Overview of my injury so I could make sure pictures at mri were of proper location of back. I was 20 min. Late for appointment (heavily medicated back pain)and chatted with receptionist, she told me to come anyway, when I got there I ask how long wait was because of another appointment, maybe 20 min. So told receptionist I had to leave for next appointment. I was then told the next day by phone I needed to pay $50 for missing my appointment. I complained to the office and was told the office manager will contact me. I then proceeded to book an appointment for my back pain medication refill because of my new injury with severe pain. Few days later I receive a call from the Bonaventure medical clinic manager saying I owe $50 and my family doctor says you need to pay. She also told me if I don’t pay I cannot see my doctor on my appointment until money is paid.WOW!!!!!!!! Wow ! I am a middle aged man with 4 dependents 2 of witch are full time university students and 2 in high school I’ve been in pain for almost 3 year and I have been only able to work limited hours with restrictions due to major back injuries. I’ve been going to this doctor for years and they know my history, how sad they care so little! I would recommend people find a place that actual shows some compassion and treats there patients like there time is worth something, as I have waited 2 hours several times for my doctor and I had a booked appointment. I would not recommend this cold heartless clinic that cares so much about $50 rather then there own clients well being. I have moved my entire family from this clinic and from our family doctor! I’m going to report this sad incident to as many as I can tell and put it on every social media platform as-well as sending a formal complaint to the medical ethics commission.

I've used this clinic as a walk in when I had shingles back in January 2015. I was suffering from incredible spasming back pain. The doctor asked a few things and then asked if I had a rash anywhere. I said yes and in a second he knew what it was. He prescribed some anti-virals and was set. I was super impressed at how easy they made it and on top of things they were. We have since used them several times for the whole family for walk in having moved in to the area recently. They continue to diagnose accurately, prescribe properly and handle us with respect and care. The offices are clean and bright with appropriate privacy. The front desk staff are very respectful and friendly. They have a drug store onsite which is very helpful. I have no hesitation to use these guys further.

Doctors are absolutely phenomenal but the middle aged lady with the blonde hair at reception is always rude and extremely snarky. Honestly if the doctors weren’t so amazing here, we wouldnt come back.

Front staff were very rude. My mother is law was short on meds and she called the drug store to get a few days worth and the front staff called to flip out on my mother in law saying who dose she think she is. Very rude people. Unfortunately its the only office around us. I guwss we will travel to bowness where doctors respect there people.

Great customer service. I was in and out in under 45 minutes for a walk in visit. Reception was fast and friendly. Dr. Ivan D'Souza was very professional and polite.

Every time I have called there I have to be put on hold. Do they need to compose themselves for the information they are about to receive? Politeness seems to have escaped them as well
