Love this place! Rob always makes the experience of going to the dentist fun. They also just run and amazing operation. Staff is always attentive, on time and really thorough. They also seem to always use the latest technology. You can also watch TV while you're in the chair. I am new to the neighborhood and I was nervous about finding a new dentist. I was pleasantly surprised to meet my incredibly positive, energetic, upbeat, intelligent, and very skilled new dentist Dr. Jimmy. Both of the assistants who worked with him, each of the two days I spent there were wonderful. I felt completely safe and well cared for especially in these Covid-19 conditions. Everyone on staff from the front desk throughout the office was highly professional, warm, and helpful. I had to have a total of 8 old fillings replaced and everyone involved made the two marathon experiences fun and interesting. Great dental care, fun music, and fascinating, wide ranging topics of conversation made my hours in the dental seat go by so much more easily. I feel so lucky to have Dr. Jimmy as my new dentist! I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. Personally, I don't like making bad reviews, but this dentist deserves one. The hygienist hurts you, makes you bleed, and pokes at your gum etc. For a cleaning, they tell you a different price over the phone, then when you are finished with your cleaning, they will charge you 50% higher than what they initially told you -Then they make up different things on the receipt to justify the different cost. They also charge $100 for an exam to check if you have a cavity.

We are never coming back to them. Now we are with a dental clinic at Bathurst and Finch who checks everything for us before doing any procedure. No surprises, just perfect service. I'd recommend looking somewhere else first before going here.

Hygienists do a great job cleaning teeth for the most part. Olivia has always been so kind to me and my children and a wonderful hygienist.Office and rooms are clean and updated. Dr.Rob is experienced and knowledgeable. My concerns come from the following: hygienists are changing too often and there is a lack of consistency…. Tried to book an appointment in 3 months in advance and I was told they are already booked due to a shortage of hygienists…..Also they are not always good about staying within the limits of my dental plan even though I have always told them I do not want to pay anything out of pocket….. somehow it ends up costing me more when it should not. Also some of ladies from the administration are a little harsh with the clients and need to brush up on customer service.

Well run dentist office. I was very happy with my service. I have been to many dentists in my life and I can honestly say this one is near the top. They have the latest technology and new techniques that make the experience less painful. I doubt this place is the cheapest, as they have some great staff and facilities but you will get great customer service and they will explain everything in detail to the point were you feel that you are getting an honest assessment and not someone just drilling your teeth to make money. They work with you and your dental planto to determine treatment and budget options. I would recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a new dentist in Toronto.

They have done an incredible job modifying their office to comply with all the new COVID regulations and keeping everyone safe and protected. Dr. Rob is great - he is very friendly and professional and makes you feel like family. He really takes the time to explain the procedure, every step of the way and even shows you pictures. He did such a great job on my root canal that I was able to go to the beach right after, with minimal pain or discomfort!

I had been a of clients of Dentistry in Motion since I was in grade school. Into my late 20s, I moved downtown Toronto and figured it would be easier to find a dentist down by me. A dentist is a dentist, no? Same services. Same dental hygiene. NOPE! There is a certain magic about Dentistry in Motion. The happiness of their people and their culture emanate through their customer service. It feels like you are visiting family. Administrative is top notch from booking and follow ups. The ladies are incredible. My hygienist, Olivia... she is a Rockstar. Despite her having her hands in my mouth (lol) we have amazing catch ups and life discussions. She either has a really really really great memory or she makes really great notes on my file so that she can remember to ask about certain milestones in my life. Either way it makes me feel heard and valued. The main dentists who lead the practice are so lovely. They truly care about their patients. We always have a good laugh when they come into exam my health. But how does this relate to the actual dental services? It's part of the experience. You could probably go to any dentist and essentially get a sufficient cleaning. Although I will say, the other dentists did not compare to my cleaning with Olivia. But at Dentisty in Motion, there is a certain "je ne sais quoi" that comes with your service. And that you can't get anywhere. You can't teach that. People want to give their business to companies and people they like. Especially when the service or product can be found elsewhere. SO... with that, thank you Denistry in Motion!!! You make going to the dentist feel like a family affair that brings happiness into my day. Cheers to 2022!! See you in 6 months :)

I have been going to this dentist office for a very long time. The staff are all very knowledgeable about their profession. They always provide excellent service and do regular training to keep themselves updated on the latest in technology and dental practices. It is a very clean and hygenic environment. Granted, they may seem a little pushy or rude if you are a newcomer, but I would recommend if you can't take a joke or you don't know how to speak your mind, you try going to a conservative dentist who will be polite as they rip you off recommending unnecessary procedures, if that's the type of treatment that you need. Dentistry in Motion is honest and always try to serve their clients in the best way possible. I would definitely recommend this dental office.

I had moved to the area and walked by this office several time so I decided to check them out. The dentist office is beautiful and well kept. Dr. Rob was amazing and gave me great insight on my dental inquires. When it came to cleaning, the hygienist was nice and pleasant but I did not like how she did not finish the job. I was told I had to come back and spend more money to finish the job... and the worst part was they wanted me back within the week. I work during the week so this was upsetting. After the cleaning, they had me sit down with a treatment planner. The lady was very pushy with her recommendations on the type of filling I should get and the costs were outrageous. I left the office feeling very discouraged and taken advantage of... I came from an office that I trusted and here I didn't feel the same. I felt like they just wanted my money.

I am so grateful to dr. Rob and Carmey, If it was for them, I wouldn’t have any teeth and would be in so much pain. I follow their instructions and when for full month Inplant and as my temporary Brooke as I am a deep clencher and am always grinding my teeth. I am so happy that I have my permanent dentures. Dr. Rob was able to fix an issue I have had for several years with my bite on the left side of my mouth. For the past 5 + years I have been unable to chew food on the left side of my mouth without severe pain. After seeing Dr. Rob, he was able to carefully assess where the pain was coming from and correct the issue. I now can comfortably chew on both sides ! AMAZING!! THE NEW SAFETY FEATURES: I was blown away by the advanced safety features my favourite Dentists' Office put in place! They remodelled the front office with clear glass partitions that felt very safe and didn't hinder communication at all. They had a fill-out questionnaire before you arrive and take your temperature before your start as well. They keep people socially distant in the lobby and during the appointments. The whole office was spotless, professional and ran like a smooth, well oiled machine. THE SERVICE: The cleaning I had was fast, efficient and friendly! The hygienist was new (I think her name was Veronica, or Valerie- sorry for forgetting) but she was excellent and answered every question. I also had a chipped tooth and got it fixed by Dr. Shawn. He was diligent, thoughtful, professional and clearly very knowledgable. He also didn't mind that I giggled through my entire procedure, since that's my unique stress response. I walked away with a beautiful smile and I am pleased to call Dentistry In Motion my Dentist of choice!!

I have written and rewritten this posting in my mind for weeks. I wanted it to be absolutely perfect but I had to remind myself not to allow perfection to be the enemy of completion. So here I go. I guess I just want to express with clarity my feelings about Dentistry in Motion and specifically Dr. Rob. Beyond being an avant-guard in the field of dentistry, he is an amazing, caring professional. This is what I want to base the rest of my commentary on. Dr Rob knows that I have great anxieties when it comes dental matters. Knowing me as well as he does, he knows the exact words to use to take we from a ramped up state to laughing while in his chair in a matter of minutes. This is what I experienced the last time I saw him. I would like to name him the patient whisperer. I am so thankful that he is my dentist and I selfishly wish him the best of health, a long life and a profitable business that last forever.

My partner and I have been going to this dentist office for many years. It was very disappointing to receive false information about making payments for their services. They told me that the insurance company has changed the procedure, and we would have to pay upfront in full then they will do direct billing to get my payment reimbursed. This is FALSE!!! You just lost your loyal customers for life.

I had my first visit at Dentistry in Motion and have nothing but amazing things to say about them. The receptionists at the front were very pleasant, I had Olivia clean my teeth and she was absolutely amazing! She cleaned my teeth in a bran new room (they expended their practice) that was absolutely spotless and very clean. Dr. Rob came in to check in on me for the first time and he's fantastic. He gave me immediate recommendations and a (complimentary) adjustment that made a huge difference in the overall look of my teeth and smile! Every interaction I had with them was great and I look forward to finally having dentist that I love and that is also very easy to get to! Highly recommend if you are looking for excellent dentistry and excellent customer service. I look forward to returning.

It was my first time coming to this office today. This was the best experience I’ve had by far at any dental office. It was extremely clean and they followed all the proper Covid 19 protocols to ensure the safety of the staff and clients coming in. The staff there were all very friendly which made the atmosphere very pleasant. For my visit I had Dr.Shawn and Sandra. They were both very nice, made me feel very comfortable (I was very nervous coming in) my visit was to get a tooth extraction and I was very nervous that it would hurt. It was a piece of cake. They did a fantastic job with numbing and pulling out the tooth. I didn’t feel a thing! I would recommend booking an appointment at this office before going to any other dental office. Overall the best experience I’ve ever had going to the dentist!

I have been seeing Dr. Rob and the team at Denistry in Motion since I was my kids age and they continually surprise me with the warmth and friendliness of all their staff. Olivia was the hygienist for my 6yo and he came home excited to floss! She made him feel so comfortable by showing him all the tools ahead of time and explaining them. He was so engaged and content, he didn't even complain she touched his wiggly tooth. Cecilia was taking care of my daughter and I same day, and she too was warm and engaging. She listened to where the sensitive spots were, and was super gentle. As I said to Dr. Rob that day... I will never leave for another dentist. They make you feel like family.

Staff are very friendly and professional! I loved the work they did on my teeth, they dont let ypu go until they make sure their work is perfct. I did cleaning and it was the best I had!! And I put in two crowns and they are perfect. Never waited for my appointment! They are very good that way they are always on time. Very happy i went there!!!
