The first thing you notice is how friendly the staff are. They have a nice camaraderie with each other and as you’re walking down the hall people are smiling at you and saying hello. So important especially if you’re a bit nervous going to the dentist. You will also notice that they’ve gone beyond to make the clinic safe - lots of sanitization, draping, double/triple masking etc. Parking was so easy and the clinic is right on the main floor. Easy to get to and access. My dentist Dr Jesin is really relaxed, told funny stories and time flew by. I totally recommend! 10 stars!

Due to some serious dental anxiety, I hadn't been to the dentist in 15 years. (I know, I know!) A broken tooth finally made me surrender, and I wound up here. While I still can't say I'm looking forward to the work I need done, I'm WAY less stressed about it. Everyone here is so friendly and laid-back. Dr. Jesin has offered some suggestions, but it's been made clear that everything is totally up to me, and there's no pressure to have anything done unless I want to. I have to admit, it feels good to be getting back on track. I think I'll even keep regular appointments from here on out! If you're hesitating, all I can say is, just suck it up and go to that first appointment. Once you talk to them, you'll feel more at ease.

I’ve been going to North York Smile Centre and have been seeing Dr. Jerry Jesin for over 25 years. Both the staff and Jerry are always helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They make my experience the best possible, which is not easy for someone like me... going to the Dentist is definitely not my favourite thing. I recently had my wisdom teeth extracted, and Dr. Jesin was amazing. I have no doubt my quick recovery time was due to his skill and care. I cannot reccomend them enough.

Excellent! I had my lower right wisdom removed by Dr. Jesin. I felt no pain during the surgery and very level of pain following the surgery. His team offers excellent service and they are very helpful in general. Overall communication and execution were simply excellent throughout! They give you the facts so you're not relying on interpretation or guesswork, and you can make decisions on an equal footing. I also appreciated that they didn't do any hard sell of unnecessary tests and procedures. My previous dentist often tried to pressure me into insanely frequent cleanings and x-rays, but this team was much more reasonable in their recommendations. I will be going back.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Jesin for extraction of a fractured tooth. Going to the appointment yesterday, I was apprehensive and fearful. But all my worries fell away as soon as I walked into the clinic. From beginning to end, every interaction with the Receptionist, Bess, Tess, Joy, and Dr. Jesin was very friendly but at the same time also very professional. Upon meeting Dr. Jesin, I found his overall demeanor and communication style conveyed one clear message, "I got this!" Needless to say, he quickly put me at ease. The procedure was almost pain-free (darn those two first needles!) and completed in five minutes. I received instructions for at home care and healing, and it has been 24 hours since the procedure and everything appears to be hunky dory except ... I'm dying for coffee! Thanks to the North York Smile Centre team for providing a very good and reassuring experience.

Had a very poor experience, due to poor scheduling and inability to see me to correct the misaligned bite. Throughout treatment felt rushed. Had 2 root canals done, fillings were left high. I phoned in and they were not able to see me for a full week. Over that week due to a misaligned bite and grinding of teeth I broke 2 more teeth and had to have another root canal. Both teeth that broke were not in the treatment plan that the dentist worked out. Hence they were additional expenses and unplanned. When confronted the dentist said oh it was a cavity. Even though xrays and full examination did not highlight any treatment of the broken teeth. If the bite was corrected within a reasonable time, Im sure the extra pain and suffering could've been avoided. Go somewhere else if follow up care and scheduling is important.

I just moved to North York from Leaside and while it's not that far away it feels like a different city altogether. The one thing that remained the same is Dr.Eisen being my dentist. My office is near Mel Lastman Square so I always stopped in for a cleaning. I'm glad that at least this element stayed the same!

I had been a patient of Dr. Robert Eisen since he opened his dental office with Dr. Jerry Jesin at 5 Park Home Avenue some 25 years ago. My experience over the years was excellent, on each and every visit. I had veneers put on my front teeth some 20 years ago and they still looked like new. My wife had 3 dental implants put in place by Dr. Eisen at a very reasonable price. My whole family continued to have our teeth cleaned there regularly by the experienced dental hygienists on staff. The receptionists are courteous, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. I have also witnessed dedicated individual whose responsibilities are to sterilize equipment after each treatment. Appointments are always on-time with minimal waiting in the comfortable lounge area. Patients are given ample time/ reminders for making changes, if necessary, on upcoming scheduled treatments. I had previously referred many of my colleagues to see Dr. Eisen. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone who wants to keep his/her oral health in tip top shape.

His practice has all the up to date technology, right there on the spot! ~ so If you need a tooth replaced…. he can make it for you on site, which lowers the cost by cutting out the middle guy. Not only is he a Great Dentist and a lovely man, he’s also a humanitarian who volunteers his vacation time to help people in poor rural areas across the globe. Dr. Zagdanski and is the best dentist I have ever seen in my 65 years, and the clinic is equally as good. My whole life, I have had a phobia about the dentist... not just uncomfortable but a true phobia. In fact it had been over 25 years since my last dental appointment and I was dreading this one. But my fears were totally unfounded. Upon arriving I was welcomed warmly and found the waiting room to be most relaxing. I was invited into the examination room at the precise time of my appointment. Busy people will appreciate the clinic's attention to timeliness. The examination and X-Rays done I was thoroughly briefed on the work to be done, how and when it would be done. No surprises. Dr. Zagdanski then started in on the fillings. Over the course of this restoration and maintenance work I was at all times comfortable. The work proceeded quickly and absolutely painlessly. Subsequent to the dental work, I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort! There was good attention to "bite" so I have had no problem with that either. I still have some more work to be done, but I am in fact looking forward to my next visits. To transition from a phobia to being totally at ease sounds too good to be true, doesn't it. But I can assure you it was not overcome with psychotherapy; rather the gentle touch and caring nature of Dr. Zagdanski and the whole staff at the clinic takes 100% of the credit. Now you know why I give a 5-star rating and tell you that Dr. Zagdanski is the best dentist, and this is the best clinic you can find anywhere. If I were to move abroad, I would probably come back here to Toronto just to have my teeth attended to. And on that, I am most sincere.

Finally had wisdom tooth removed based on Dr. JJ recomendation.( Nov 2017). Two weeks later still in pain when chewing. Returned to dentist were another X ray taken and was advised that it looks like it is healing but take more antibiotics. Two weeks later still in pain. Dental office closed for holiday ( Dec 3rd week I think) and I have a trip booked to Roatan in 4 days time. There is an emergency no. available but since I was told there was nothing wrong with the tooth, went to my Doctor who was puzzelled but sent me for next day scanning at TO General. Scan results indicated possible bone infection so was sent to Mount Siena (TO General does not have dental emergency service. My trip south was 2 days away). Mount Siena called in a dental surgeon and it was discovered that a small piece of tooth or bone was still in my jaw. This was removed ( and I had to pay since Ohip does not cover and being retired, had no insurance). The dental surgeon called me the next day to see how I was ( that was really great) and I told him situation much improved and I will go south the next day as scheduled. Situation improved and all turned out OK but dissapointed that even after returning to Dr JJ, he did not find anything wrong and just gave me more antibiotics and sent me home?

We typically use Dr. Jesin for regular dentistry however today my son saw him in consultation for a smile correction to close the gaps on his teeth. Dr. Jesin is the only dentist who offered to do a mock up of what it would look like, since changing his face through altering his smile is a big decision and we weren’t willing to jump into this without knowing what the results would look like first. Needless to say the results were incredible, my son was thrilled and we are definitely booking to have this procedure done ASAP! Without the mock up I’m not sure we would have been convinced. I had my first root canal few years ago. It was the worst experience of my life -- more painful than when I broke my collarbone biking or my nose skiing. You can imagine, then, the cold sweats I started having when my dentist told me I might need another! Fortunately for me, he recommended Dr. Jerry Jesin & Dr.Rober Eisen. I entered the room quite literally shivering in trepidation, and 15 minutes later was half asleep, enjoying music on my iPod while she painlessly removed the infected nerve. In fact, I would describe the procedure itself as less painful than a normal filling (which I have a great deal of experience with as well!). I won't lie -- right now, with the Novocain all worn off, it's a bit painful, but the procedure itself was not. I have inherited awful teeth, and will undoubtedly require another root canal one day. On that day, I will be coming to Dr. Jerry Jesin and Dr. Robert Eisen !

I can’t say anything good about my old dentist so when I came to City Centre Dental I realized that was missing out on a good dental experience. From the moment I came in everyone listened to me and actually paid attention to my stories with the old dentist. Dr. Jesin is just amazing! I've been with them for over 2 years now and have had only great experience. Two weeks ago I had my tooth extracted and wasn't sleeping the night before as I was terrified.
