Buyer beware, these people will try and upsell you. I went in for a routine cavity filling (prior filling came out) and was charged $200 for the filling. 2 months later the filling came out.They also said they needed to take an x-ray on the initial visit when anyone could easily see where the filling had come out. I complained to the receptionist and she hung up on me.... really??? Terrible customer service, unprofessional and dishonest staff. Furthermore, I referred my wife here for a dental checkup, they said she had 4 cavities and needed $800 in dental work. I got a second opinion and turns out she only has 1 cavity!!! DON'T GO HERE!, Its a money mill with dental associates that don't care about their patients only there pay check!

I have been going to Dr. Jason Goldshlager for 20+ years, since I was a wee boy. I have had everything you can imagine done: implant, bonding, fillings, etc. Everything has gone smooth and been comfortable. The hygienists are amazing, very kind and caring. I would have recommended sooner but I figured it was my best kept secret. I was there recently and it felt safe with all their Covid safety protocols.

I find the staff and my personal dentist Dr. Goldshlager to be very professional and courteous. The environment is clean and procedures are discussed in advance to aid in your decision making process. Having an on site endo is very helpful and they do a great job of filling you in when there is an emergency. Nothing but praise for this facility.

Bayview Village Dental is like a warm hug. I always felt immediately at home when I visited, and extremely confident that my teeth were in good hands when I was there. Many years ago, Dr. Uche Odiatu created a crown for my front tooth after it was damaged in a sports accident. Not only is it still in great shape, but I regularly get compliments from local dentists (now that I've moved out of town) about the incredible quality of his work. The best dentist!

I’ve been going to a doc Bill Dirlis for years. Always friendly excellent service ! But today I’m so upset on my appointment 1:30 the secretary , she told me I was late for my appointment , and the time was 1:25, mm.. I ask the reason , she said your appointment was 1:10 , impossible , I wrote it down , was 1:30 ,, I’m disappointed , I was looking for this 2, years now .., She was rude and not helpful .. sorry

The dental hygienists and doctors are very nice and friendly, but the receptionists at this clinic are totally on the opposite end of the scale. 1. I've been going to Bayview Village Dental for 3 years now for my regular teeth cleaning and check up, every time they charge a different price and I have not had extra service done, just the basic/usual (cleaning, polishing...etc). The first time after my service, when the receptionist told me the total, I asked for a breakdown of the charge per category. She was very rude and told me pay first then she'll print the paper with the breakdown. I told her I wanted to see it first before I pay. In the end, with attitude, she printed it out for me first. 2. After having done x-rays on initial visit (required to do according to them), I asked if I can get a copy of the images, in case I want to bring it to another dentist because at that time I was already thinking of going elsewhere after the first visit. The receptionist said yes and I asked if she can send a digital copy of it to my email. She said no, she can only print it. I'm not sure how their system works, but it should be fairly easy to send a digital picture to an email. So instead, she printed it on a piece of paper, which I could hardly see what it is as the ink is very dark and it was just a blob of black ink. It's unfortunate that I have to find a new dentist clinic. The receptionists are the face of the clinic, if they aren't friendly, there's no point to stay.

Great dentists, difficult support staff. Five star dentists but 1 star staff since Valerie and Ann left. Hence the overall 3 star rating. Have to argue with staff to get service. They are great at processing your bill, but wholly lacking interest in helping you work through problems with dental insurers.

On Thursday, 24 June 2021, I had an appointment with Dr Odiatu for 11 am so I left my home in Collingwood at 8:50 am. However, I got caught in the 400 south closure, from Finch to 401, due to an accident investigation. I phoned around 10:40 am to say I was going to be late; about 3/4 hour later I was called back to get an update on my whereabouts and told that Dr Odiatu would still take me but may have to wait a while in between patients. I am one of his few patients that does not do freezing so he knew I would be in and out in no time :) I arrived at 12:20 pm, only waited 5 minutes and Dr Odiatu was able to repair the chipped veneer so was out the chair before 1 pm, plus still made my 2:30 pm appointment in Barrie on the way home! I have been a patient since 1999 and can highly recommend Dr Odiatu and team for their professionalism, always friendly and welcoming.

All the staff namely Janet, Angela Tzau, Perisa were great and explained everything very clearly. They all answered all my questions to the best of their ability. They made me feel very comfortable. Hygienist Janet was very good at cleaning /scaling. They all were extremely warm and compassionate. the financial aspect was great and was done on time . i got my reimbursement the next day that was really quick. I will recommend all my friends and family to the dentistry . It was a pleasure . second review- This was my 2nd session for scaling . Julia was my Hygienist and she was so good. She did an excellent job in cleaning and scaling and smoothing teeth. I feel so comfortable now. 5 stars for Julia :-)

The hygienist Lillian, was fabulous as always, however I'm getting annoyed with the fact that this company is like a sausage factory. Rushed in and rushed out. For a service that requires precise work, the rushing does not instill confidence that I will get the care that I might require. I would be concerned that something is being missed or overlooked. Trust and familiarity, someone who you've known for a long time and knows you is important in procedures where someone is drilling in your mouth. Building those relationships with new people requires time, however, given my last few visits, I'm not so sure this will be possible in an atmosphere of assembly line dentistry. I'm willing to try, but I'm not so optimistic. ------ Thank you for your response. I think you have misunderstood. I don't blame office staff, hygienists and doctors, at all. It's the atmosphere created by this large "conglomeration" in which they work -- a big office, with lots of staff, lots of clients. Likely a good business model, but as far as I can see, not particularly patient-centric. As I said, I am willing to give it a shot.

By far the best dental visit I have ever had. Dr. Dirlis was very thorough, attentive and listened to my concerns. His calming and reassuring nature made this a very pleasant visit and my broken tooth was painlessly taken care of. The front desk reception was very professional and took care of all my insurance needs. In addition, this office has many dental specialists and even a physiotherapist on site!! A rare find!!

She gave me back my smile and I only wish we did not have to wear masks so I could show it off more. And yesterday she got me in on a last-minute call and was able to fix my problem immediately. I have been going to see Janet for my dental hygiene/cleaning appointments for almost 20 years. My latest cleaning was today. I cannot express in a review how impressed I am with the level of care and concern I receive regularly at Bayview Village Dental Associates. The staff all make you feel welcome and appreciated. Though I moved almost 2 years ago, I still happily make the 90-minute drive from my new home, twice a year, to visit Bayview. Though my dentist has recently retired, I am now connected with a new dentist and I expect to continue to make Bayview my dental care "home", at least as long as Janet is there. She is the best ! When you are due for a dental hygiene/cleaning appointment, ask to make a reservation with Janet. She is very well experienced, does an impeccable job and is the nicest person you will ever meet. I just love her !

Swindlers. My wife just came back from a cleaning, they charged him three units for 25 minutes. I looked it up and a unit is supposed to be 15 minutes. Previously they recommended serious work and a second opinion said that nothing was needed.

The support staff are very very diligent, accommodating, patient, and wonderful to deal with. The Dentists are extremely professional yet also approachable and friendly.
