This office needs to be shut down, Horrific place. Many better qualified dentists in Woodstock. The hours are what attract you, but they are crooks. Avoid this place just like you would want to avoid catching COVID!!! Both are equally toxic.

The people there are very friendly, and the best part is (especially if you're a big baby like me ), I didn't even feel the needle! Dr Widad is a top-notch dentist and her assistant/hygienist Amber is also at the top of her game. My oral hygiene was neglected for several years before I walked into Sunnyview Dental, and now the folks there have my grill looking like something out of Hollywood. It really is amazing what they were able to do in just a few visits, and now I can smile with confidence and be happy when I look into a mirror. No I'm not being paid to leave this review, I'm just a happy customer! ????

Such a weird experience. I’m new to town so looking for a dentist. I booked a teeth cleaning at sunnyview and it took them 2 hours to X-ray and count my teeth so I had to book another appointment for the cleaning 2 weeks out. It took so long because the hygienist took the xrays then “lost them” or a accidentally deleted them. She seemed super skittish and confused throughout the whole appointment. Booking my cleaning 2 weeks out was inconvenient because I have a painful tooth that needs to be pulled but they insisted on doing the cleaning first. Oh yea, the day before the cleaning that called and cancelled because the hygienist is sick. Are you kidding me? NEXT. Finding a new dental office ASAP to clean my teeth and fix my painful tooth

I was asked in an email to do this review from Sunnyview Dental. I was scheduled for a cleaning and feel dissatisfied as I left the office without my teeth being cleaned. Many exrays, which I didnt want were pushed upon me. I felt very negative about my experience and I dont think it was necessary to make me feel so insecure about my teeth. What bothered me so much is I looked so forward to having clean teeth, only to leave with nothing being done. The cost of this experience was 384.00 and my teeth still need to be cleaned. I felt my time was waisted and they charged up my dental plan.

Definitely gone down hill.. Dr. Deol is/was amazing.. I have no complaints about her.. all the hygienists are wonderful too.. but whoever the new dentist is, she needs to work on her rotten attitude.. not sure why she feels the need to dress in a haz-mat suit.. she is rude and unwilling to think outside her own head.. went in for a scheduled extraction.. was given nothing but excuses and had nothing done.. I ended up walking out and I will NOT be going back!! When you work with people, you should really have better manners.. WE pay your salary!

I had an emergency last time I was in town and hoped to find a dentist that was still open. I happened to come across SunnyView and I consider myself lucky to have found them. I wish we had good dental service like this back in Quebec and I'm very satisfied with the service I recieved. I used to live in Woodstock and loved this place. Especially the hours. When I moved i liked it so much I wanted to remain a patient. However, after my last experience I will not be returning. I booked an appointment to fix some work they had done 5 months ago that had chipped. I called prior and was told the work would be covered under warranty up to a year. I booked the appointment and drove 2 hours from my new residence to be there. After being sat in the chair I was told I would be billed for the appointment. I was never informed about this or any other charges when I booked the appointment and told them what it was for. Quite the opposite actually, I was led to believe it was going to be covered under warranty. After being told I would be billed I expressed my concerns about the issue and the fact I had driven so far to attend. Instead of understanding or attempting to figure something it they used it against me, as if to say I might aswell pay because I was there now. I felt as if it were a trap. I left very upset. They had wasted 4 hours of my day, and money in gas. The dentist also became very rude when I attempted to explain my frustration in the lack of information and the entire scenario. It was an experience I will not put myself through again. It was humiliating. Never again. Very disappointed.

Horrid experience. Frozen with 5 needles and could still feel everything. My face became so swollen. I was advised by another dentist that you can't freeze an infected tooth and that could be the cause of my pain. I went back to sunnyview and saw a second dentist who said my bite was wrong and insinuated I was lucky he fixed the first dentists mistake. I asked for antibiotics and he told me I was the patient and not the doctor. Extremely rude. Went to a completely different clinic who provided me medication and explained the horrid mistakes sunnyview had made. I will never go back here. Update: They called me apologized profusely and offered me a refund which I accepted, when they called me to go get the cheque I went to the location 4 separate times and they "couldn't find it". I called/emailed several times and it took them weeks to get back to me. They are now saying the refund is not approved because I made a complaint to the Royal college of dental surgeons, so basically the refund was hush money. This place goes far beyond unprofessional. Avoid at all costs.

The worst. Every time I come here it’s a problem. Scheduling, late, rude staff, using personal cell phones. It’s honestly a joke. We will be changing dentists immediately. Also last time I was here they didn’t do a filling properly and it fell out. Then it got infected. This place is horrible don’t go trust me. My kids had to wait over an hour to get in for an appointment I had just talked to the receptionist yesterday.

I had work done 3 months ago. I paid with my debit and waited for my insurance company to pay them so I could get my percentage back. They paid quickly so I went back in to get my debit credited. I was told that they would have to determine approval from head office and a cheque would be issued to me. They only refund under 150 dollars through debit. 3 months later I still have not received by money. After calling the head office Friday June 15 2018 I was told I would get a cheque next week. I told them this wait was unacceptable and I should have had my debit credited 2 and 1/2 months ago when my insurance company paid them. They asked if a manager could call me. I said yes and as of 6 pm June 18 2018 I have not heard from anyone. This shows me they have no respect for customers and I caution anyone paying them on time and awaiting a refund to be weary. I think this is something they do on purpose and is part of their policies.

3 different family members have been told there was dental work needed, that with a second opinion informed us was not needed. Also the fillings that have been done were done incorrectly, leaving more issues, and required being ripped out and redone. A rotating staff means inconsistent care, and commission payment appears to be more important than health care

The first day I went in, they refused to see me for an emergency infection from a wisdom tooth surgery. The office staff was rude and didn't even ask the doctor if he/she would be willing to take just a few minutes to see me. Woodstock only has 1 dentist open on the weekend, so I called again the next morning, and they were able to get me in before noon. Much better experience than the 1st time. I had no insurance in Canada, so it was a bit expensive, but it was much needed. I was very thankful for the treatment. They were very patient with my nervousness.

3 or 4 months ago i decided to chose Sunnyview. Went the first time for xrays. Amber was great. Then came back for 2 fillings. Well no tv on. Not enough freezing. Dropped a tool on my forehead. Then had a tool and hooked my lip. Rude woman. Most dentist ive been with in my life. Always let u rinse ur mouth after any work. Not me. Then i couldnt eat and was in pain for 2 months to chew on that side ect. It was bad. But i kept quiet. Then they called me for my last filling and cleaning. I told the girl Christine. She said oh my i know who u mean wen i explained who worked on me. Actually i would love and should know one perso/dentist thay works on me!!!! I dont want more than 1 family doctor nor dentist. Now i need a cleaning bad b4 a wedding on September 22. And have mo where to go....4 months ago i asked for a cleaning but they got me for xrays and filling and caused me so much pain. My 1 filling isnt even done right. Dirty dirty awful place...

This is the worst customer experience ever. Please press see more . Fraud is what it is, when you choose to pay your account in full and then the dentist submits it to your benefit insurance to pay the dentist, they have double the money and don't reimburse you immediately when it is brought to their attention, it is fraud. My husband had tooth pain and we had moved and was looking for a new dentist. He stopped at Sunnyview as we were driving by. He booked ed an appointment and went twice a few days apart, paid in full. Found out that it had been sent to the benefit company to pay the dentist, now out exactly $423.00. When contacted they tried to have him put it on his account as a credit. He said no, being on his credit card, he has been told twice now since 3rd week of July that head office is sending him a check. No check today .... I am a benefits administrator for a large company and know that this is not a practice that is acceptable in the industry, still researching agencies to report to through my benefit broker and provider. The dentist office also tried to submit the co-insurance, my insurance to be paid but was denied as I have EDI turned off so it cannot be paid to the dentist, good thing since I have received that portion back from my insurance already to apply to myhusband's credit card. His benefit company reimburses him within 2 days, so Sunnyview Woodstock has had his money now for over 2 weeks, he would have it instead. Please remember, a mistake would have been corrected immediately, anything else is dishonest. This dentist office is not owned by the dentist, research shows that dentist's sell their practises to the company they call their head office, name left out for now, and all funds are managed through there. Do your homework before going to your next dentist. There is more but too long to go on, appointments booked but told was not, have it confirmed on documentation to back up. Will update to let you know if they refund the money. Every complaint review has the same response, read them all and don't be fooled. Don't leave reviews often, they also look at your benefit insurance available to you to maximize what they can make $$$$$$whether you need it or not. I promised an update, Sunnyview contacted my husband and myself and have refunded the money. This should have been corrected immediately and not weeks later after having to go through what we went through.

Not a good place to go. All they want is your insurance money. They don’t listen, they do what they want to do because they are the dentist and you are only a patient and your insurance company is paying the bill so be thankful they did something for you. But when you are in pain they tell you that you have to wait for 2 weeks to get an appointment and then when you want the tooth pulled they tell you that it is against the law for them to pull a good tooth! If a tooth is rotten and they suggest a root canal, you tell them That root canals don’t work on me they say it is a root canal or go somewhere else so I did. All they want is you company’s benefit money and they give second rate work done. All I can say stay away and look for a better dentist they are out there. I just had a great visit at Sunnyview dental, there is a dental hygienist named Susan and 'WOW' is she ever good , not only does she know her stuff Susan is so knowledgeable and very friendly and talks to u what she is doing step by step, very very polite and fun to be around. Susan treats you with respect and always puts a smile on your face, every visit I'm going to get her and you should as well the next time you are in ask for Susan you won't be disappointed. The best lady to clean your teeth is Susan, I give her a 20 out of 10.

I had an accessed moler tooth that was badly infected......they got me in the next day even though I'm not a patient there and have no dentist. Before they did work, they took my blood pressure and found out it was super high and recommended I go to the hospital first. I'm glad I did, as I was in need of medication! I made another appt a week later, and they got me in again. They showed me the X-rays and explained everything before hand. He thought the tooth was going to have to be cut in half due to curved roots which he showed me on x rays. Regardless, it was taken out in 1 piece. He cleaned out the infection and got me going. He showed me the work he had removed afterwards and explained it. I have had almost no pain both during, and now the day after. I only took 1 Advil after the procedure as a precaution for pain which I didn't even need! The office is clean and has a nice television above your head to watch as they work on you which is great, though I try to keep my eyes closed lol Best of all it cost less than I thought it was going to, and I will be setting up an appt to continue going in.

Not a nice place to visit. I went there last week to get my wisdom teeth check and most probably extracted. But the doctor looked at teeth for 5-10 mins , he told me at their clinic X-ray of all teeth can not be taken. So they advice me to get it done at another clinic, which they mentioned to me on paper. Also they told me you will be contacted in one or 2 days. They charged me a lot just looking when facility was not available with them. The doctor they mentioned never called me it has been almost 1 week. They just kept on asking me how much dental benefit you have with your insurance. Not nice people. This all happened when I clearly mentioned on phone before coming, about the purpose of my visit.

Actually using my son’s account but to be honest I am a big Chicken when it comes to dental work ( very bad experience as a younger child ) I booked to be sedated and with very bad veins knew I was in for some fun with getting a needle to start an I.V. but to my amazement nurse Lemuel was very gentle and took his time to make it with minimal pain. Then came the extraction time of my tooth Dentist So Samson was superb , no pain no issues and it’s been 4 days and I feel great no swelling no more tooth pain ,,,,,thank you thank you definitely going back for more dental work

I went in for an emergency issue and was greeted to a clean friendly environment, I was able to get on very quick and also received an appointment right aways upon calling that morning, the dentist was very kind and thorough in his job, my only disappointment was that I didn't receive the procedure I needed but I did receive an antibiotic to hold me over till me next appointment which was 2 weeks later...not too happy about that, but overall a good experience.

In the past I've had three appointments cancelled on me. One of those they blamed me for a missed appointment. I just had an appointment to get a cavity filled. After an hour the dentist didn't like the job that he did. He said he would take a 5 minute break. After 20 mins he returned. At this point the freezing had worn off, but I don't know that. My research shows that a dentist should know that the freezing would wear off by then. He started drilling again. The pain was so intense that I could only react to pull away. Imagine having a drill in the middle of your tooth with no freezing. The dentist started to blame me for possibly causing him to get hurt. 3 times he said that he could have cut himself and blamed me. What also struck me was the assistant had to aplogize to the dentist for some kind of mistake more than a few times. If you make so many mistakes then I suggest some improvement.

Used up all my benefits when I told them I needed them for impacted wisdom teeth with only xrays and half my mouth got cleaned no polish no fluoride 600 of my benefits for that and now I do t have anywhere near the amount to get the surgery I need which causes extreme pain throughout my mouth and jawline, won’t be back

It was an ok experience. Not as clean as I expecting and the dentist had no children skills whatsoever. The dental hygienist was good with our LO though. I didn’t like that I had to leave a credit card number on file either, I’ve never had to do this with any other dental office I have been too.

Had an appointment for surgery at 10am on Wednesday... 30 mins before surgery, as I'm driving there from out of town, they cancel. Reschedule for later that night.. Ok... Monday was a post operation appt at 5. No one helped by 530 and I had to leave to go to work. (Guaranteed someone would be able to help before I had to work) Asked me to come back at 5 on Tuesday... Here I am again at 530, still waiting...............................

Front desk: 11/10 Exam and X-rays: 10/10 Cleaning: 10/10 Wisdom Teeth Extraction: 10/10 Fillings: 1/10 I would give this business a perfect score if it wasn't for my two recent Filling Appointments. This is the first time I've ever wanted to scream and just leave mid-procedure. So while my experiences at Sunnyview were nearly flawless, I recommend having your records and X-rays transferred to a different Dental office if you need to get fillings done. Allow me to explain: All appointments up until this point were done by different people. And they did a great job. However, during my first "Filling Session" I felt like I was a guinea pig taking part in a failed experiment. Your confidence starts to waver when your doctor complains about the height of the chair, the height of your bed, the height of your headrest, and the nozzle pressure. You think "Wait, are they new here? Am I their first patient? Well, everyone has to start somewhere." It wavers even more when they can't figure out how to change these settings without direct assistance. Slightly concerned for your well-being you enter phase two where everything is somehow your fault. You spend the next 30 minutes hearing about how your gag reflex is too strong (six times) and your gums bleed too much when stabbed. Once released to the outside world you realize they forgot to take the bloodied gauze out of your mouth and also threw your nice Covid mask away. You know what, that's okay. No big deal. Overall the procedure itself was successful. My mouth is much healthier. Everything is going to be okay! Wait, this was supposed to be a filling appointment but you didn't actually do any fillings? You ran out of rubber earlier in the day so you touched up my front teeth a bit instead? Well, I still need my fillings done and my teeth do look better.. so let's try again. The beginning of "Filling Attempt Two" felt like my mouth was an incorrect order at a fast food assembly line. Starting with that awkward moment when the doctor doesn't seem to remember working on you two weeks prior. Where simple everyday mistakes are made like: Locking a clamp directly onto your gums while pushing and scraping the flesh off. Cutting teeth holes into the rubber in the wrong places and trying to force it to fit anyways. Applying 50 pounds of force to get dental floss to fit between your incorrectly rubbered teeth. Not receiving enough freezing as a grinder tears into one of your nerves while the smell of burning teeth fills your nose and your hands turn white from pain-induced clenching. You know, the easily forgettable stuff. Upon letting the manager know that you think you may have received the wrong mouth order, the entire procedure starts over. Re-freezing, re-clamping, re-rubbering. Although while clamped into this weird uncomfortable position the second time, you realize the doctor has left to go take care of someone else's exam leaving you with the inability to relax your rubber-clamped jaw. When the procedure begins to wind down and come to an end you hear those lovely words you always want to hear from your doctor: "Sorry." "I won't charge you for some of the corrections I had to make." "We planned to do three teeth but have run out of time. No big deal!" "Your healthy body could probably use more freezing next time." There's only so many calming, re-assuring words you can hear before actions start to speak louder. I wanted to find somewhere secluded where I could scream away my frustration and pain. In the end, my mouth will probably choose to sleep on the couch without me for awhile and refuse to look me in the eye after this betrayal. I still have a few more fillings I need to do but I'm going to have my records sent to a new dentist and get them done there instead. To everyone else on the team: Keep up the good work. Booked a cleaning. Because it was my first time they needed to do a full exam. One hour to do X-rays and they say that I need to book in for another apptointment. One hour of cleaning and she worked on the same three teeth to the point I sat up and told her to stop. She said to book in again for the rest of them . At this point she would do the flossing and polishing. I have good insurance but still received a $120 bill and teeth aren't even clean! And they want me to go in two more times I will pay the bill but will definitely not be returning!

All the people were with an smile in their face and the hygienist and dentist explanation from the diagnostic and treatment was very objective and clear for me and for my kids. Love the hours. Unbelievable how flexible. With the hours however means different dentists so I cant speak for most of them. But I know the last one I seen did an amazing job! I have had in the past fought with jagged edges and high points requiring trimming after. Not last time, felt exactly as it should! :)

I went in on Sunday Nov 25 2018 . The reception lady was exceptionally nice . I went in got my x-rays then Dr. Manish Kanwal come in .He was rude , unfriendly , not a caring bone in his body . I'm a senior and to be yelled at for not doing the cold test properly ,he then said now I've ruined the test and would have to be done again . Tells me I need it pulled or root canal so I choose pull . He said he didn't have time that day even though the office was empty and to come back the next day . Well needless to say I did not return for the extraction . I had so much anxiety from this experience I called another dentist she got me in that same day Nov 26 2018 . I would not recommend this Clinic in Woodstock Ontario .

Had such an fabulous time getting my fillings (lol)!! Dr Kanwal and his assistant Ana were so great and so in sync, it made the time fly by and made me feel super comfortable in the chair, even with anxiety. I didn’t feel the needle, didn’t feel the work, and everything was super perfect afterwards! Front desk and the remainder of the staff were super friendly. Such a clean, welcoming, caring, and organized place!

I went in with major pain got a check up within a reasonable time. I was then sent for more detailed xrays at a different location which was fine. I was told they would be viewed right away and get everything booked and delt with... Almost 2 weeks and SEVERAL phone calls later I keep getting told the xrays have not been looked at yet. In the meantime here is sit with major pain in my mouth/jaw for going into 3 weeks now. I finally gave up asked for my xrays and found a new dentist

Worst service ever!!!! If you want to be lied to go ahead but otherwise I would not recommend this place to anyone. My husband had fillings done and was told that fillings are supposed to last lifetime but one tooth came off and other didn’t. When asked to fix the receptionist said there is no such thing that last forever and if you want to get it fixed you have to get it done on your expense all over again with no guarantees again and that it wasn’t her problem so she would rather not waste her time discussing the issue over the phone. Let alone lying but being rude is also part of their service
