Absolutely a great experience. I had two extractions and implants done with no pain whatsoever. Dr Furst and the staff were professional and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Coronation Dental Specialty Group!!

I developed Tempermandibular joint disorder (TMJ) after my wisdom surgery here. Long story short - surgery went terrible. I asked for a water syringe before I left and was not given one as it was "not needed" which eventually developed into a dry socket. I would call and ask them how to fix this issue and was given no support/advice - just that it would pass, keep it clean etc. Continuing a month after the surgery I still had a puffy, swollen cheek. It was an infection. This infection was inside my right cheek for over 5 months. I constantly went back to the office for help and had the infection cut open and sucked out or treated with antibiotics. I switched antibiotics 3 times.. Nothing worked and I had pain, couldn't eat solids and could barely open my mouth for even a toothbrush for over 4 months. Eventually after constantly calling, I gave up and went to another dentist for help. It wasn't until 6 months after my surgery, they discovered my infection was due to "brutal removal of wisdom teeth" and over extension and stress on my jaw joint, causing TMJ. I suffer from TMJ still to this day. My surgery was 7 years ago and it wasn't until now I decided to make this review. I think it is important to know these types of cases.

Lazy, unprofessional, good for nothings. If they decide they don't want to do their jobs they run you around and lie to you until you have to pay them an arm and a leg for them to do nothing. Don't waste your time or effort. Look else where.

This was the worst experience in my life, found them very rude people not friendly at all, had to return to my dentist as there was a front tooth that was forgotten to be pulled, bottom jaw hurts so bad. Will never go back there and definitely do not recommend to anyone.

Sandy Schultz

Quick. Efficient and Professional.

THEY STEAL YOUR TEETH My 85-year old mother had her last two remaining teeth removed by Dr. Sheikh and was devastated to learn she was not allowed to keep them for future full genome DNA analysis because teeth are a “biohazard”. Now I have 9 teeth from my late father but none from mom and this was her LAST chance! My understanding is that there are no Federal or Provincial government regulations mandating this. Disposal of teeth is based on the whim of the dentist. Now the only thing I can do is warn people to STAY AWAY from dentists who DON’T CARE!!! While my mother did have her DNA tested at Ancestry and 23andMe, they currently only sample a small fraction of total DNA. Teeth are the preferred medium for preserved DNA over fingernails or hair follicles in terms of yield and preservation. All 100,000 year old DNA is extracted only from dentin pulp. Other methods are inferior, with blood kept at room temperature readable for just tens of years. In conclusion, we are deeply disappointed we ever came to Coronation Dental.

Upsetting. Went for a consultation which lasted 5 minutes with the specialist. They gave me only 2 options for extraction of 4 wisdom teeth. Full anesthesia in Brantford hospital, or awake with freezing in Woodstock clinic then sent me back to the waiting room. I went back to the nurse and asked why I would not be allowed to have IV anesthesia in the clinic, she put me back in the room and told me to wait. The specialist came back in, after asking the question and expressing my concerns for full sedation, his ONLY words were " you are too big" and then left the room. I am 220lbs. 5foot 9in. 3 months post-partum. Thankfully my dentist thought that answer was ridiculous and sent me to specialists in London-who were incredibly kind, and also thought it was unprofessional and unkind. They offered me IV sedation even before I told them about my experience with Coronation Dental. Coronations fees are on the higher side as well-almost double from other specialists.

My mother in law had a procedure by Dr. Sheikh because of her jaw issues. It was a very complex and we had seen doctors in London, Waterloo and as far as Toronto. Everyone said they can’t help her until we met Dr. Sheikh. He was so kind from the first day we met him, explained everything to the absolute last detail. And when he did the surgery, he has changed her life. He didn’t even have to take her to the hospital like most doctors said. She is smiling for the first time and is a completely different person. Highly recommend Dr. Sheikh and Coronation.

The people here are excellent! Super friendly and very caring. I was quite worried about my upcoming procedure and they were all great, in particular Dr. Diamond. He clearly explained my procedure and made sure that I was comfortable with the process and this certainly helped ease my anxiety. Thank you!

Poor communication from first phone call. No better in person. Receptionist has the personality of a door knob, then you get Nurse Ratchett and finally a dentist who did not even offer the services I was referred for at the Woodstock location. Was told all their diagnostic equipment and any patient requiring anesthesia could only be treated in Cambridge. That was after I spent 30 minutes in waiting room, listening to a young child wailing and crying and filling in paperwork with 2 separate people. Patient skills zero. I got billed $123 for basically filling in forms. Worst dentist experience ever. I would rate them zero if I could.

Matt Nieuwenhuis

Absolutely awesome experience getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at once. It took less than 25 minutes and I am completely back to work only a day after, working my usual 14 hour days. I have absolutely no pain. The team was extremely professional. They called me up the next day to remind me of things I need to do. Very pleased with the quality of this dental surgeon group.

Andrew McGorman

Professional service from start to finish. The team at Coronation made the unpleasant process of tooth extraction easy and painless. Thanks to Dr. Soliman and the entire staff.

Barbara McDonald

One star is being generous. They would not treat my Mother and referred her to Interface in London. She has been fighting an ongoing infection causing her to be extremely unwell. She is 88 years of age, so this is is a potential life-threatening issue. The surgery been delayed due to Coronation's incompetence and unwillingness to deal with the situation. Save your time and $ and go elsewhere.

Linda Corbett

No complaints, very happy it’s been many many years since I’ve had a tooth extraction. Would highly recommend the staff and Dr Would definitely have treatment at this location again if necessary.

I had a very positive experience with 2 extractions and a caring team who followed up with me the next morning. I highly recommend Dr Furst and his nurses.

Girlfriend got her wisdom teeth removed. This place absolutely refused to go through insurance I had to pay 2 grand out of pocket! They refused to give paradex perscription and when my girlfriend went unconscious multiple times they were very rude on the phone - the person was clearly driving and sounded very impatient... my girlfriends unconscious on the floor like what is wrong with you. Also posted hours are not correct as there was "nobody in the office" on the Friday and the following Monday. Also they charged hundreds of dollars above the dental fee guide. Terrible!

Maryanne Condruk

Great if all you need is pop a tooth. If not long haul with healing for an impacted wisdom tooth which ended up with a dry socket. Impacted teeth often do that. The pain and swelling was an intense throb radiating to ear throat and side of shoulder. My mouth didnt open well talk yet back to work the next day with pain meds. A few in between dressings as well. I definitely wasn't well and was trying to be efficenict at work. I'm surprised being sent back to work in all that pain. Surgeons in general hospital wouldn't do that. Mouth pain affects whole being and cornation needs to consider the post op care so their clients are not in that much pain at work. Safety issue at job as well. When the things you love to do outside of work stops because of pain you are not well. Yet back to work. Does this make sense,? When I had so much pain in my mouth because bone was showing I asked if I could be home to sleep it off being on percocets. Dr Furst told me patients asked him for 3 weeks off and he has his license to think of. Lol So care is not individualized it's standard. What about patient wellbeing? No surgeon in hospital would allow this post op. Too scared to ever return to cornation.
