Dr. Muzzatti and his staff are very friendly. Great service. I have even seen the other Doctors that work there and they are very gentle just like Dr. Muzzatti.

Now I'll start off by saying that the actual dentists themselves at this establishment seemed cordial and professional. However, due to the fact that my teeth are decent for the most part, other than the post cleaning check where they poke and prod a bit and double check your x-rays, I rarely had much interaction with them. If I solely had that to go on to make a rating, you'd be looking at a 4 or 5 star rating. But that is where the good ends and the problems start... their staff. When you run a business, the people you employ are a reflection of yourself. So, sorry docs, that's why I had to go with my gut in the rating. First off, they hired on a new hygienist. I think she replaced a more elderly hygienist that frankly, I liked far better. The previous woman was caring, kind, and more than capable in her role. But that aside, the new lady seemed competent enough at her job. One problem... she is VERY rough when performing her cleanings. She does this in the name of doing a good job, but does she in fact have to be so rough while doing it? And I get it, you're trying to be VERY through, but she was almost constantly grinding down on my teeth, only to throw in a disparaging remark about the job the previous hygienist had done for good measure. Oh, and when she walked out of the room near the end, I noticed that she had a pad with bullet point notes of things I had told her during the visit. I guess she was keeping talking points about me for small talk during my next appointment? I found both of these things extremely tacky. I could do without the insults, and if you need talking point aides, I'd rather just not talk to begin with. Maybe that's another reason why I liked the previous hygienist better as well. That's not the end of it though, more came at a later appointment. I sent my wife and stepson to catch up on their oral hygiene at a later date. Due to a change in circumstances, they could now take advantage of my dental benefits, when neither of them had had the luxury of any coverage for many years. Both of them have overall good oral health though, so an exam and cleaning should be straightforward. My stepson has a little enamel thinning in one spot, but still not a single actual cavity and compared to me at his age, he's doing awesome. Anyway, again they found the new hygienist to be unafraid, and perhaps unconcerned, with any pain she inflicted during the cleanings. My wife has had largely carefree teeth her entire life (good genes apparently), but even she remarked at how her teeth have never hurt more in her life than after a cleaning at this dentist. When it came to my stepson, the staff took it one step further when they apparently found nothing wrong with taking pot shots at my wife's parenting during the visit. Some of this was right in front of my stepson! They flat out attempted to humiliate my wife by making condescending and highly presumptive statements that my wife was too upset about to offer a immediate retort to. Never mind that she had been a hard working single mom for a large part of her life, all the while dealing with a stereotypical deadbeat dad who does everything in his power to get out of doing his part, and that's only part of what she's dealt with! But no matter, you got your snide remarks in and made her feel bad for a little while. Happy? In the meantime, we're moving on to try someone a tad less judgement about their clients. Because, just like the owner of this office remarked to me back when I first tried this place out, "Yes, there pretty much is a dentist's office on every corner in Windsor it seems." Lucky for us, that's not far from the truth.

Friendly staff who are punctual. So happy I switched from my other dental center.
