I've been going to West Van Dental Group for almost 20 years now, and have always been satisfied with their care. My main dentist left last year (not exactly sure why, but I think just to start his own practice/office), so I have seen Dr Barati for my past 2 visits. Just had a filling done today, and it couldn't have gone smoother, she was patient/friendly, and frequently asked if there was any pain/ if the freezing was OK (it was fine). It's a good team there, I'd definitely recommend them.

It was my first appointment at West Van Dental Group and with Dr. Jouya Rabati. I was amazed how quickly she could find the problem with my tooth and was able to treat it right away. The entire process was painless. I felt like home. The entire team was very kind, friendly and accommodating. They managed to retrieve my dental history and X-rays from my previous doctor prior to my appointment in just few days. My daughter also had her teeth cleaned that day and she mentioned, that the process was more enjoyable for her, compare to the previous experience with another dentist. I used to come here when there where different and much better dentists used to work. I had one of my worst experiences ever!!! Dr Bayati told me I need some tooth filling and when I asked questions, she became angry and agitated. She was so impatient with me and gave me attitude just for asking questions and it made me feel that she wants to rip me off. I will NEVER return and I wish I could find my original dentist who worked there.

I went to Dr Spur every 9 months for the past 10 years. The automatic email sent a week before to confirm my appointment did not inform me my dentist and hygienist were not there any more. I was not informed until the day before my appointment that Dr Spur was no longer there. They said he hasn't been there for a few months and they were trying to notify patients. When I said I would try the new people I went forward with my appointment. I was surprised the xrays in my file were not mine. Their records say I was there in Sept and I was not. I was told since they were not my xrays I needed full xrays which is unnecessary because I have no problems with my teeth. No one prodded my gums to note the numbers. I have since found out my old dentist did not retire as they told me so I will be going back to him and his hygienists who always did an excellent job and never suggested unnecessary work.

I had the most wonderful experience at West Van Dental Group. After researching a few dental offices in Vancouver my husband and I came cross this amazing clinic. From reception to their, clean and sanitary facilities, and medical staff my experience with this group was flawless. There were kind, accommodating and flexible with my available dates. I had the fortune of going through a very complicated restorative jaw and bone grafting surgery, a procedure that none had actually give me the full extent of what it would involve and learning what I know now, no other doctor would have taken me on. I have been sent around to other places where the main talk was about selling me on their implants. I felt discouraged and disappointed, no compassion was shown for my unique case. I was the born in EasterN Europe and was the subject of a very outdated and archaic dental system when teeth were just pulled out when a little cavity would settle in. During one of the those procedures they pulled 2 of my teeth out, one entirely good tooth and they cut a huge chin knot my jaw leaving me vulnerable for major bone loss over the years. I got literally fortunate to have met Dr. Shirbani and Dr. Ali and along with 2 other nurses Maria and Zohreh who assured me before surgery “trust your doctor” . Despite my previous experiences I took a leap of faith and trusted Dr. Shirbani. After a 3 hour surgery I was carefully walked through every step of the post op. procedures: medication, food intake and I received a text from Dr. Shirbani first thing in the am asking for pictures of the operated area, heart rate and temperature. Reminding me once again to take my antibiotics and painkillers regularly as prescribed. This is a 5 star service from this team led by Dr. Shirbani. Not only The West Van Dental group is a one stop for all things dental, their care and compassion for complicated procedures will exceed your expectations, it certainly exceeded mine. I highly recommend this group and it’s medical team. They will do your examinations and scans within the same facility and you don’t have to worry about running around for your films, scans or other dental needs. I am excited for my 4 month recovery and the continuation with implants and finishing with the final details. Thank you West Van Dental Group In Park Royal North and Dr. Shirbani. Dr. Jouya Barati is a miracle worker. She is a gentle and caring primary care dentist that attended to my father with utmost professionalism and empathy. My father had severe pain and a dental abscess. She examined and treated him with compassion, tending to his pain with regular follow up. He was visiting Canada and I can without reservation say that she made the continued visit possible, otherwise my parents would have had to cut the visit short to go back home for treatment. Myself, my daughter and our family are indebted to her for this. I would recommend this fantastic dentist to anyone. Her bedside manner is superb.

I came here because of the Google reviews and was simply awestruck! From a simple phone call to being in the chair, ex-ray and assessment done was under 3 hrs! I am scheduled for work on a broken molar tomorrow morning. They certainly have brought service with technology to a new level. The only place I have seen more screens on the walls, ceilings is Best Buy. Day two update; 2hours of work, and one happy customer! They even show you pictures of before during and after the procedure. Awesome technology. All in all it is a resounding "two thumbs up" for Dr. Barati and her support staff. I would highly recommend then to anyone. They are conveniently located in Park Royal, North beside Blaze Pizza. Keep up the awesome service! I be taking the whole family in for cleaning next month.

I've been going to my family dentist since I was 7 years old - given that he was in his early thirties when I became his patient, I've had the benefit of continuing to be his patient until now, 20 years later. However, he has moved from this location and I gave the new dentist a try. I was greeted kindly by the staff but the dentist (Dr. Bavati) was very rude. Every time I asked about anything she throw a tantrum like I am an idiot. Let's see how my tooth will hold up with her job

While on vacation we needed services of a dentist. We googled for a dentist nearby. There were a number of dental offices around. This one was the only one that answered their phone on a friday morning. The front desk was really helpful trying to get my wife in the same day. At 11:30 we were in and at 12:00 noon we were out. Xray done , prescription in hand , email to our regular dentist sent. Great service, great price, thank you Dr. Spurr and all the staff. Our vacation continued without any other problems.

I am so glad I found this West Van Dental Group. I thought I needed a dental implant, but was advised I only needed a cosmetic procedure to cover the crack in my front tooth! No upselling here, just honest evaluation! I was thrilled and relieved that I did not need a really expensive procedure, simply a composite to cover the crack! Kudos to Dr Jouya Barati and her team for then doing all of my front teeth and some lower front teeth with artistry and precision in matching my multi -coloured teeth so they appeared unified and even coloured with composites, this lady is patient, perceptive and precise in her amazing vision, and I could not be happier with my results. I approach this commendation with some trepidation. It's easy to be sentimental about West Van Dental. For who can resist a beautiful dentist. All the staff at W.V. Dental are very gentle, and Not at all temperamental or judgemental. What can go amiss? Well, let me say this. Those beautiful dentists from southern parts, Have come to Vancouver to break men's hearts. And I'm afraid that, now the cat is out of the bag, Tongues will wag. These lovely maids from foreign climes, and Leafy glades, have caused heartache several times. Although, they are women of taste, and elegance, and grace. These noble ladies receive standing ovations at railway stations, and Their beauty causes confusion in profusion at other locations. Furthermore, they raise palpitations in young men of all nations. But you never know which way the wind will blow. All the patients stare with admiration, and Wait with a little trepidation, in the expectation of Extractions because of impactions, and Lower billings for fillings. What more can I say? Dr Moshtaghi is a world class dental surgeon. He was done before I knew it. The dental assistant Zohreh was very polite, gentle and exceptionally caring too. They together took the intimidation out of the process. Sawant, the dental hygeinist is beyond amazing, very thorough and very gentle and caring. Truly a professional at what she does. Leanne at the reception and all the staff were very courteous, caring and professional. I would most definitely highly recommend West Van Dental Clinic.
