I was a first time patient yesterday, I was having horrible tooth pain, I needed a dentist. Simple right? Now, the hard part, it is scary not knowing which dentist to choose. How do you assist yourself in that decision? Exactly, you read reviews. This is the first review I have ever posted but I felt it so important, I had to post. Dr R J Riley was hands down the absolute BEST Dentist I have ever been to. I am 40 yrs. old so I have lived a few different places and been to a few and words cannot convey enough how skilled this Man is. When reading most reviews you get complaints of office staff...fees...I want to know about the person who is in charge of my teeth. That is my main focus. Thankfully, his Staff is wonderful and fees...well, yeah, there are those too anywhere you go. If we are simply talking skill of the providing Dentist then do yourself a favour and choose this Man. I was amazed how kind and informative he was not to mention I was floored by his work. He had my tooth out of my head within minutes talking me through it all the time he worked. His words are soft spoken and comforting and keeping you aware of what is going on at all times. It's comforting because we usually make most dental visits nerve wracking to ourselves, we are scared of experiencing pain but with him talking you through it and his amazing almost pain free ability with a needle to numb you..it is as calming as a dental visit can be. His assistant Kaylie was also wonderful. Dr Riley knows his stuff and treats people how he would want to be treated. Sounds odd saying this was a great experience in regards to dental work but it honestly was. If you have ever had tooth pain or needed any kind of dental work you Know the importance of not only the Dentist being skilled but their ability to understand how you the patient might be feeling. Dr. RIley understands, explains everything in detail and never once made me feel rushed in making the decision regarding my tooth. Thank you to him and his entire staff. *smiles big showing off my pearly whites..minus one but its the back tooth so you can't tell*

They really did a really bad job on my twins teeth. I recently switched dentist and he couldn't believe what a half job they did on the fillings. They left a huge hole in my son's tooth didn't fill it in properly. My current dentist is actually really disgusted. I even inquired about braces for the one twin and the Orthodontist said oh he's fine. But he's not now something should have been done when asked now I'm left pay $1000 more BC they have a quick in and out policy. Watch out and please see other dentists. I will never go there again.

The only reason I'm giving this one star, is because it will not let me give them 0. The first time I went there, I went for a sore tooth, I left with my tooth still to be repaired, he also wanted to pull a tooth that is not bothering me, the second time I went there is when the real issue occurred, I have severe back problems, and some days are worse than others, this was one of my bad days, I would not have been able to sit in those uncomfortable chairs for the hour that he told me was going to take to fix my other tooth, I didn't want to waste the appointment, I know his time is valuable so I asked him to just remove the temporary filling had put in last time and put in a permanent one, he he told me this would also take an hour, a job that I've seen other dentists do in 5 minutes, he then said that he could do one tooth out of time but that the rates would increase, and then reminded him that I was on ODSP, he said I can't treat you then, I was kind of puzzled because he had treated me before, and I guess when he found out that he couldn't overcharge me, he decided he didn't want to treat me at all, I spoke my mind before I left and I told him what I thought of him, I was completely disgusted for his lack of care for his patients physical well-being. He was so worried about the half hour he couldn't charge me for that he didn't care that I was in excruciating pain and couldn't sit in those uncomfortable chairs for any more than 10 minutes at a time. so I leave for you to decide for yourself, but I would recommend taking your family to another dentist!

I love the chairs they have in the room where you get your teeth worked on they are so relaxing. You get a massage while you get work done.

I was there for my son in a few months. Definitely he was best. He was so profession that my son took his treatment though he had been really scared of treatment before. The staff and nurses were also kind and smily.. When you have any issue with your teeth, he must be the best choice you can have.

I enjoy this dentist office. Always gives me a clear idea of what work has to be done, if anything can wait and a clear estimate for the cost. They have even worked with me on making some payments for work I had done. My son feels very comfortable with the dentist and trusts him.

love this place and love the service i get...very considerate dentist....the dentist is very good at what he does .....he takes the time to talk over the procedure and to listen to what you have to say !!! i will not be changing dentist anytime in the near future !!!!! i could not be happier as a patient ....

I found my new dentist! ???? The younger Dr. Riley (I havent met his dad), Kaylie, his assistant and both receptionists are amazing!!!! They made my tooth extraction painless and I appreciate them getting me in so fast , thank you! ????

I'm not sure what the other complaints entailed, but..???? Dr. Riley has been our family dentist for more than 20 years. He is and continues to be our dentist even though my 3 sons have grown up and moved on.. We have NEVER EVER had a problem with him or his staff, I highly recommend him and his office...
