Absolutely horrible experience. Dr Ashra has zero compassion and priorities her own wants over the patient. On top of that the Clinic is cluttered and unpleasant To be in. After 1 appointment I won’t be going back and I don’t recommend anyone else does either . If you have any type of dental anxiety stay clear of this place.

Just had a cleaning done by the newest member of the staff, Rebecca Pollock, and it was the best visit I had ever had to any dental office. I had not had my teeth done in nearly four years as a result of a very painful cleaning. I told Rebecca that she was not to dig below the gum line and I was very firm on that point. Her response was " We'll talk about it." She convinced me of the necessity of removing plaque below the gum line so I begrudgingly consented. To my utter surprise, there was little to no discomfort, thanks to Rebecca. Aside from being an outstanding professional, Rebecca is an amazing young lady that will be doing my cleaning regularly from now on. Thanks again Rebecca! Ray Laukkanen

I moved to Dandelion about 3 years ago and have been pleased with the service I get there. After my cleaning and 2 fillings yesterday, I'm far more than pleased. My regular hygienist there, Catherine, has become a friend who I have great chats with, and their new dentist, Dr. Reimer, gets 10/10 in every respect.

I went here for a dental appointment. The dental hygienist was decent. She presented as nice but my cleaning was not done properly! I did one xray with her and then she told me I will need to do another X-ray ????. I have been going to dentist and as a new patient they never took two X-rays like they did here. I felt was unnecessary. I eventually saw the dentist. He quickly ran through the exam and spent most of the time talking to me about the work I can do and gave me a quote. He even suggested getting some of it done this year so my insurance can pay for more work next year. I feel like I was in a sale shop! I found it so rude that he walked up to the receptionist and told her what I will get done with other clients in the waiting area. He even went and just told the receptionist when I was going to come back. I did even bother to say anything because I knew they would never see me again.

The staff here are ALL very upbeat and friendly, the dentist and his staff provided my 5 year old son with a comfortable environment to have his teeth worked on. They were fast and efficient, exactly what you need for any young child requiring dental work. I would highly recommended this dental office to anyone. I was very impressed. Everyone of my fillings came loose within 3 year span. They weren't even gentle doing thier job like they were hung over or something. I have now over 5 huge gaps in my teeth from these careless cheap dentists. I also went the extra mile to spend a good quality filling.

It was my 3 yr old sons first visit. He was very excited and greeted by an enthusiastic front desk person. Our wait time was short and the hygienist spent a lot of time helping him to become comfortable with all the equipment - raising and lowering the chair and showing the light/sunglasses etc. Time with the dentist was positive and fun. Exactly what I was hoping for. My boy came home excited to brush his teeth with his new Mickey Mouse toothbrush and try out the toothpicks for the first time. Could not ask for more.

Part 2 When you call to make an appointment you may hear that the Dentist is on vacation. Eventually you may call so frequently enough to enquire about the progress of your treatment plan and discover that Dr.Kim is on vacation quite frequently. Truth of the matter is that Dr.Kim lives in the lower mainland and only travels up to Whitehorse to do some work here and there. One has to ask, how does a dentist stay on top of a patients dental care in professional systematically fashion as some require when he is practicing (or even owning) at Promontory Dental in Chilliwack, Comox Dental in Comox, Dandelion Dental (owns) and as well as Klondike Dental? I guess if you have good dental health and you just need a cleaning, or even just a filling here and there, then this clinic could very well accommodate your needs as opposed to waiting up to three months to get into another Whitehorse dental clinic. I think the wait is worth it. As for Dr. Kim`s dental acumen when it comes to creating dental treatment plans as well providing general dental care, its pretty clear that this dentist is just out for the big dollar and that even blinds his ability to repair a tooth as opposed to creating an gross exaggerated opportunity to sell a patient on an implant for $5000.00 or two. Work that was recently completed this year by Dr. Kim actually cracked my molar thus a creating a very serious gum infection. Worst part is that he did not even notice the inflammation on my last visit. Truth be told it was just a mickey mouse appointment to create a smoke and mirror story to convince me to get another implant installed. Well Dr. Kim, that didn`t work did it? My new dentist team has since fixed your spotty work on my molar, unfortunately they had to extract that molar cause you did indeed crack it. At least I am legitimately getting an implant for good reason now, or am I just getting some quality Dental care. For those that believe that they are supporting a local Whitehorse Dental clinic, think again. Hopefully this review will help someone make a better decision when it comes to choosing a dentist over Dr. "Get an Implant" Kim.

Very happy with the service, would recommend. I rarely waited more than a few minutes before an appointment, and once in the chair I felt things were taken care of about as quickly as they could be while still doing an excellent job. They also took care of submitting my insurance claims for me, which was nice to not have to worry about.
