(Translated) The front desk attitude is very bad, if not in a hurry, don't come to this (Original) 前台态度非常不好 如果不是很急 千万不要来这家

Front desk lady is very ignorant and disrespectful. Every time I call. The clinic it is busy, I don't think she liked to answer the phone. If this happens again I am filing a complaint. I went I. A few days ago due to shortness of breath. I've been calling the past 2 days and cannot get through to get my X-ray results.

I HAVE BEEN QUITE ILL OVER THE LAST TWO MONTHS, AND WAS WEARY ABOUT GOING TO A WALK IN CLINIC IN HALIFAX AFTER READING HORRIBLE REVIEWS ABOUT MANY OF THE LOCAL CLINICS IN MY AREA, I CHOSE TO GO TO CLAYTON PARK MEDICAL CLINIC AFTER READING POSITIVE REVIEWS ABOUT THEM ON GOOGLE, I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I ARRIVED THERE TODAY AND WAS GREETED WITH SUSPICIOUS STARES AND MEAN LOOKS FROM THE FRONT DESK STAFF WHO DID NOT EVEN SAY HI TO ME WHEN I WALKED IN THE DOOR BUT CHOSE TO HOLD THEIR HAND OUT SIGNALLING ME TO PRODUCE MY HEALTH CARD, dr. haider IS AN AWFUL AND HORRIBLE PERSON, I WAS TRAUMATIZED BY HOW RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL HE WAS TOWARD ME, HE DID NOT WANT TO HEAR ANY OF MY SYMPTOMS OR WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH AND SEEMED TO BE IN A HURRY, ALL HE CARED ABOUT WAS GETTING ME OUT OF HIS OFFICE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, AFTER HE WAS DONE HURRIEDLY ASSESSING MY CONDITION HE WALKED OUT THE ROOM WITHOUT A WORD, ONE THING YOU SHOULD NOTE IS THAT HALIFAX IS A WHITE SUPREMACIST COMMUNITY, AND IF YOU ARENT WHITE YOU ARE GOING TO BE TREATED AS A SUBHUMAN AND LOOKED AT AS ABSOLUTE FILTH EVERYWHERE YOU GO, I PLAN ON LEAVING THIS CITY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, I AM SOO DISGUSTED AND HURT, ALL I WANT IS TREATMENT, I AM REALLY ILL BUT I AM AFRAID YOU CAN ONLY RECEIVE THAT IF YOU ARE WHITE.

Being first in line dosnt mean you won't be waiting long. Clinic opens at 830, doctor is suppose to start at 9. I was the first there so I got into a room to wait for the doctor around 835. Door of the room is open so I saw when the doctor showed up around 925. I got seen to around 935. So it's around an hour wait if your the first person plus waiting an hour and a half outside. That's if the doctor only stops for Tim's on the way to work. Oh also they charge double for doctors notes then anywhere else I've been. Btw they only do cash, apparently they "tried doing debit, but it didn't work for them."

One person told me it would cost me 40 for getting a champix prescription slip and they would accept my insurance so i could get the actual pills free - i went back and another person wanted 80 and because they couldnt accept my insurance for the cost of the pills. I went to Lawton's walk in clinic and they gave me the prescription slip free and i got the pills free - all within 30 mins. This Clinic sucks, they just want to take money for anything and everything DO NOT go here. Go to another clinic.

This is my go to Walk in clinic as its never let me down when Ive shown up. Only one time I wasn’t able to get in(my own fault, I didn’t check the hours lol). Every time I’ve been able to get in, sometimes even at 2:50pm (this was pre Covid) which is a big deal if you’ve been to walk in clinics that close at 4:00pm. The clinic seems clean, they follow Covid measures(masks, hand sanitizer, proper distancing, etc..) The receptionist is kind. They try to go above and beyond which you love to see. My 4 star is as no surprise waiting times. Luckily this last time I came in, the receptionist gave a time to come back so I could leave and get some food and I didnt have to worry about missing my name being called(I think that was due to Covid and space restrictions more so then anything). That being said, your wait time is dependent on others so I waited another hour and a bit when I went back in. A little side note if anyone has money to build and maintain a “medicine refills only clinic” I can say I would thank you a lot haha. If I got a dollar for the many hours Ive waited just to get refills, id be rich, lol.

RJ

Useless, unknowledgeable and ornery.

Stacey Fry

very fast, clean and helpful. very short wait time.

Em Tanner

Obviously this doctor would rather get through his list of patients than actually try to help people. don’t bother wasting your time trying to get support here.

Michael Sime

Not impressed with this clinic. The front staff were very pleasant but the wait time was too long, and there was only 1 doctor on staff. The doctor rushed in and out of rooms and didn't seem to take my concerns seriously at all. I asked for him to do a test for me and he made up an excuse not to (I am assuming so he could just move on to the next person). I am still in pain and concerned about my health and have no choice but to wait in another clinic to see a different doctor. Make sure to ask for what you want when you are there - I had to ask the doctor for a prescription for blood work.

Was told I had a bacterial infection in my throat. Ended up in the emergency room six hours later only to discover I actually had a dangerous heart condition. This clinic is good if you already know what's wrong with you, but if you need real medical advice, best to go elsewhere.

Peter Jeffery

I come to this clinic very frequently. The level of care I receive from the doctors and blood collection is amazing. All the Doctors are great, I have never had any negative issues to date and they are very thorough with every visit. The wait can sometimes be long as they are a very busy clinic but it is always worth it if you have the patience to wait for quality care. The administrative staff are also awesome whether its a weekday or the weekend. They work very hard to make the clinic run smoothly and try to please everyone to the best of their abilities. If your looking for caring and knowledgeable care this is the place to go.

Schuyler Smith

The service depends on the physician you are assigned to. For the most part there is no assessment it is just a verbal inquiry. It seems like they want to be a cold/flu service. Front end staff are very nice.

Kaitlyn M (Kaitnyl)

Kicked me out before I had a chance to speak. Did a rude and poor job of answering what little questions I had time to ask

Mathew Hynes

reception is very kind and the doctor provides excellent patient service. he cares about his patients and listens to you. thank you dr. haider for being so great.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT WITH CONCERNS. I thought this would be faster to get bloodwork done as sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment with my doctor. HUGE mistake. I went into get bloodwork done on Saturday the 22nd to confirm my pregnancy. I asked about getting my horomones checked as well but he said no, I don't need that now and get it done on my second bloodwork. My bloodwork can back and my HCG level was low. I questioned him and he said it was "normal" and "not to worry" as it doubles every 24 hours. I asked again if I could get my bloodwork done with the horomones and he said I do not need that and my ob will decided if I need that or not (my OB appointment was not until May 10th at 7 WEEKS along). He told me to go for my second HCG (not other horomones) a couple days before my OB appointment. Needless to say, I WAS CONCERNED and HE DID NOTHING TO HELP MY CONCERN. I was told, after the fact, by THREE other doctors that my HCG was TOO LOW when I had to go to the ER a week later because I was having a miscarriage. This happened before my "recommended" second blood work test by the walk-in doctor. Whether or not blood work would of helped with determining if I was on track or not, who knows, BECAUSE HE DID NOT LISTEN TO MY CONCERNS EVEN THOUGH I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR SPECIFIC BLOODWORK. A walk in clinic is more than capable of checking specific horomones. What is worse, is that he quickly dismissed my concerns on the first appointment for blood work with a chuckle when I asked to have my other horomones besides for HCG checked.

Umar Haider is an useless waste doctor. He didn't even listen to what I am telling and not ready to understand my problems and pain. He didn't even sit for a min and consult with me about my problem. Barely he spent around 2 mins. Before even i convey all my problems, he finished writing the prescription. Such an worst doctor i have even seen in my life. this will be my first and last visit to this hospital. I would never ever recommend this clinic for any one, especially this doctor Umar. Doctors should have the patience to listen to their patients and understand their problem, the basic qualities for an doctor, which he is missing.

I went to this clinic many many years ago because I had taken 3 home pregnancy test one was unreadable, the second was positive, the third was negative, I went in to just ask a doctor for a rec. for one blood test to get a definitive answer. He told me it's $15.00 for a piece of paper to get the test. He told me to go buy two more at home tests and see what they say. I went to a different clinic that afternoon, and got a definitive answer of "not pregnant" (good news at that time) and got the answer in the clinic without paying anything, and in less than 40 minutes. Steer clear of this Clinic!!

John Clarke

Usually crowded in the mornings wait times about 1-2hrs. Everything are easier with about 10-15mins wait time.

Alexander Stevens

As a health care worker myself. Not impressed, Though the receptionist was quite nice and informative. The doctor at the clinic couldn't care more or less why I was there. It was a simple physical assessment, and the doctor blew through vitals rhyming off "good vitals" as to not be questioned on it. When someone takes a ausustation BP (Blood pressure) it should take Atleast 8-16 seconds to really evaluate the systolic and diastolic pressures. It shouldn't be under 1 second. Just because a "doctor" says it's fine, means very little if they make up the results just to get you out of thier room faster. What should of been a easy physical assessment clearly shows the lack patient care support.

The doctor present at the clinic was the most useless human being I've ever encountered. If you want to waste your time, you might as well wait in line at a Walmart checkout where the cashier would be able to help you twice as much in a quarter of the time. It blows my mind that someone so incompetent and rude could ever amount to anything like this

Krutarth Patel

Dont even dare to go in weekend's.

Harsimran Chahal

Neema Mwaungulu

Closed on Sunday but all online sources say they're open. They really need to post accurate times.

Esha Pathak

I come here if I need a quick check up between my doctors appointment. The female (receptionist ) is always polite to me. If you show respect & greet them the way you want to be treated, then they will show the same. It's only fair. The doctors are alway great. I never have any issues.

Shawn Courtney

I come to the walk-in clinic. I like the doctors and assistants. They are helpful. If you come to this walk-in clinic get ready to wait at least 2 hours.

Kim Spoor

Great staff and doctors!

Alex Polley

Definitely do NOT recommend if you're compromised or nervous about Covid. The usual on call doctor is great, gets to the point and has you out of there quickly but this clinic is known for always being late to open. I was there yesterday and the receptionist kept packing more and more people into the waiting room until there were more people standing than sitting in the (already reduced) chairs. I don't understand what the point is of getting rid of every second chair if you're just gonna jam everyone in and ignore the 6 ft of distance. There was one particular lady who had her mask down the entire time, coughing everywhere, wiping her nose constantly and walking up and down the hall of waiting rooms looking in, yet nothing was done about her. I also could see into two other waiting rooms while I was waiting and no one was wiping them down between each patient. People would leave, and more people would go in immediately after with absolutely zero sanitary care.

T. Gaudet

They were able to help me with my medical needs. There is always a bit of a line up so I suggest going early. If you dont mind waiting they are great at what they do!

Jose Pineiro

Walk in clinics hours have been changed. Was not announced, just a notice on the door indicating this.

Sally Wolf

I've been a patient at this clinic for several years now. My doctor takes care of any current needs and also reviews my recent medical history as follow-up each & every visit - and he is very regular with requesting my blood tests via requisition, checking my vitals, etc. This year and last I've had increased medical needs and I have been very well taken care of and referred to other professionals and testing as needed. Aside from the waiting room getting crowded at times (what walk-in clinic medical waiting room isn't?) ... I have to give this clinic and my personal Doctor at this location full points. As an add-on ... I've found the reception to be very good also. Professional, efficient and polite. This knowing they all (from support to medical staff) have their hands full on a daily basis. In 6 or 7 years I've never had any problem or any complaint with services and professionalism at this center. Very pleased each visit.

Diana G

Doctors very unkind and inconsiderate during the state of emergency. If anywhere else was open during the time I needed I would go there first.

Jill Cochran

I have had this DR.Hader for many years very kind and understanding staff is the best. I have traveled over many provinces and have never found a DR. So good but very busy and staff the same I hope they are thary for many more years . To come. All the best to the staff and Dr. Keep safe.

I didn't realize that my health card had expired, and without even looking at the card dropped in to the clinic for my first visit thanks to a nasty asthma attack... despite my oversight, the receptionist was able to multitask reapplying for a card for me while handling about a million other things and a lineup out the door; she really made it easy and quick which was much appreciated since I was hovering around trying not to breathe like Darth Vader! The Doctor was also fantastic and was able to sort me out in a jiffy, I would recommend this clinic to anyone!

Doctor is at lunch break from 11am to 2pm? What kind of lunch break is that?

Sarah

Arrived promptly at 8:30 am, waited an hour and a half, at 10 am still didn’t see anyone. The doctor walked in at 9:30. If the doctor arrives at 9:30 why open the doors at 8:30. Very disappointing. If there was many people in front of me I would understand waiting, but I arrived when the doors opened.

Murat Cagri KOC

Slow wait times. They keep getting busier and busier. They need two doctors.

Oreo TheCat

Expect 2.5 hour wait times. The receptionist told me I shouldn't be there when I was refered there by an RN. The receptionist also is not social distancing and doing nothing to make sure people wear masks during this global pandemic.

Honestly, one of the worst clinics I've ever been to. I moved to Halifax at the beginning of the year and have been there twice already. Both times I've made an appointment at a certain time and was put in room #1 and am the last person who gets checked (about 1 1/2 hrs later). I've also had the same doctor and he just doesn't seem to care at all and he doesn't seem very knowledgable. I only say that because he asked if I got off a prescription what would happen... it is something a doctor would know or should know and the answer is bad withdrawal or worse. I also explained with why I do not have a family doctor yet here and he just kept saying you need a family doctor, you need to call even though I explained the reasonable explanation of why I do not have one. Anyway this is just my personal experience and hopefully it is better for others.

Got booked I'm at 1:45 and was told several times if would be 2:15 until I would be seen. Fine. Came back I'm at about 2:10, sat down. Waited until I saw several people who got here after me got called in and finally went to the counter. Was told I missed being called. I replied I was told several times to come back in at 2:15. Was told rather rudely that I didn't let really know I was back. I asked what difference it would have made since they had called me in long before I was told to come back. Instead of then putting me to the top, because I was there before anyone in the waiting room, I was told it would be another half an hour. 47 minutes later, I was finally called into a room. Staff were rude and condescending.

Badir Alsaeed

Terrible clinic. The receptionist is extremely slow and useless. The waiting room was packed but every second chair was blocked off because of social distancing - kind of defeats the purpose when you’re shoulder to shoulder standing anyway. The doctor could not care less and refused to refill my prescription because he felt I should see my family doctor first. I’m here for work and do not have a family doctor in the province. Who am I suppose to see?

Frank Muise

Front desk is very rude. She is very selective to be friendly to patients perhaps only to people she knows. The working hours is not clear at all. They are posting different hours at the entrance and website said it opens at 9 am but I went in on Tuesday morning it opened at 8 am.

Sascha Dupupet

Jagmeet Singh Saggu

Reception staff was friendly. I was asked to wait 1.75 hours, no problem. But then I get called into the office and waited another hour on the bench. Then I had about 4 minutes of interaction with the doctor and I felt like I had to press to get any feed back. Thankfully I don't need to see the doctor often.

Robert Forsey

Long long looooong wait ????. About 1.5 hour or more. Doctor and front desk staff are polite though...

Stephanie Lawson

Receptionist is very rude! Super unprofessional, patients are walking in and asking her questions and she is blurting our their heath concerns/issues! The other patients are starring! She should be more discreet and pleasant! She’s in customer service she should have a smile on her face and be friendly but she’s complete opposite! Doctor here is very nice on the other hand! He works hard you can see and listens and understands well to any concerns you may have.

Allison

Waiting more than 2 hrs, still haven't seen a dr, still many people here waiting that were here before us. The receptionists keep skipping people to the front of the line for no apparent reason and then tell you they registered earlier even though I've been watching these people come in, register in front of me and then be moved ahead of the people already waiting. Terrible service!

I injured myself this morning and was required to visit a doctor to get looked at.. these guys were supposed to open at 830 so I went here to get it over with. Showed up to find they weren't opening today until 9:15 so I waited 45 minutes to get inside.. Took another 45 minutes for the first person that arrived to get called in, I was the third. By 1030, two hours after I arrived the doctor refused to give me any more than a day off work and then the receptionist told me I had to pay to have a work note when I went to leave... Didn't MSI cover the expense for me to see the doctor today? Not the first time I've been here but it will be the last. Rude doctor that misdiagnosed me in the past and a again was a huge waste of my time..

Nick Bourque

Horrible doctor. My mom went on Monday didn’t feel good at all and the doctor say just to take Tylenol! So she went to another walk in and turn out she has Lyme disease and needed antibiotics.

Brian Jones

Terrible service waited 2 hours and basically got brushed off when I got to see a doctor

I had infection on my foot on the weekend. The doctor started writing prescription the moment he walked in.The antibiotic turns out to upset my stomach terribly that I had to stop. I had similar infection before and my regular family doctor took the trouble to ask about my medicine tolerance and prescribed one that worked but gentle on my stomach. I asked what I should and should not do in the meantime. The doctor's answer was "obviously what you have been doing is wrong". Nothing more was offered.

J M

Went in because ear had popped and I lost hearing. The doctor said it was just earwax and suctioned it, a week later I now suffer from Sudden Onset Hearing Loss and am permanently deaf. If he had of taken his job seriously and actually looked more into my medical concern, there’s a chance I could have my hearing back. He didn’t even see if it felt better after suctioning or anything.

Michael Fougere

9:15 on Monday morning and they don't answer the phone. Only a speech that you barely can hear in order to understand. I need a tetanus shot. Unacceptable

Ray Rizzle

Awesome doctor super friendly and seemed concerned about my issues wait times can be an issue the receptionist isn’t great on guessing wait time so you can come back and wait an hour when you were told only half an hour.

Alexa Cameron

Website says open on Holidays, no voice message contradicting that when you call. After a drive in (20 minutes) Small sign (letter size) with hours for 2014 Christmas season - NOT OPEN Christmas or Boxing Day. Very disappointed in the lack of appropriate communication on all fronts for potential clients.

Michael Coleman

Very bad experience. Too much waiting time. I spent my 4 hours waiting to see Doctor and he went in 2 minutes. Don't care about patient. They are also not polite to you

Angel h

I have called this clinic 3 times to get results back from my blood work. My own doctor cannot give me results over the phone because she was not the one that ordered the test. The front desk have been less than helpful, each time telling me they will call me back. Apparently they "don't have the number for a south shore blood lab" (GOOGLE IT FOR GOD'S SAKE). So I'm freaking out, having to wait until I can get in with my own doctor because the front desk at this clinic is too lazy to go out of their way and do their jobs.

Alisha Soyer

Be away during weekends I came at 10:10 am on Saturday and the waiting room was full with patients. That is fine because everybody has its own health problem. However, the lady in the front desk told me that I can register and comeback after 45 minutes, which was a good solution for me as my small son was the patient. Then, I went to the family focus clinic. And it was almost 10:30 am. They told me that the doctor will be there at 11:00 and there are 4 patients already registered, so I decide to keep my appointment with the first clinic since it is only 45 minutes and I will see the doctor! I came back after 45 minutes and guess what, I waited there for another 1 hour and 30 minutes!! and I found that the lady in the front desk was following a bad technique, which is telling everybody that it is only 45 min to see the doctor !!! And that was completely untrue!! Maybe she wants all the patients to not go to another clinic. I asked her after 25 minutes of the second waiting why we are still waiting and she said that is related to the doctor and how difficult is each case?! She keeps saying that to everybody and I believe that was her mistake. She should tell anyone comes to the clinic how many doctors they have and how many patients are in the waiting list so you can make your own decision, but keep saying 45 minutes to everybody without counting how many patients are in front of you is not a smart way!! (she did not even say it will be a minimum 45 minutes which can give her an excuse)

Mike Gaetz

Relatively short wait times to see the Dr. I find the staff to be quick and usually very polite. Accurate diagnoses are sometimes hard to come by at walk-in clinics; I have never had an inaccurate diagnosis from this clinic. I am currently living in NB, staying in Spryfield during a family emergency. I have been here for about five weeks and have never been so sick for so long. I should have just gone to this clinic but another clinic was closer to the hospital so I went there. I won't be back to that clinic. Clayton Park will be my choice in the future.

The secretary is very kind and lovely. The doctor is amazing, you can tell he enjoys his job and cares for his patients. He actually does a better job than the ER a lot of the time.

I have been visiting the medical clinic for quite sometime and after every visit i felt like writing a review, since the doctors here have been very good throughout, somehow it always overshadowed the level of problems we faced from the staff here. But today i couldn't stop myself. The frontdesk staff here treats people like flith. They are not at all considerate towards the patients and wouldn't even look up to you and speak. I do not know whats tasks they are always involved in which doesnt give them even a minute to look up and reply to your queries. Whenever you drop in, they'll always ask you to register and come back in 45 mins irrespective of the number of patients already waiting ahead of you. Today was a day when i was severely ill and could barely sit on the chair in the waiting area. We were first asked to come back in 45 minutes and once we came back, we again kept waiting for an hour and 20 minutes. My husband kept requesting the front desk lady to atleast let us know the exact wait time as my condition was deteriorating, but she never even bothered to respond politely. Today probably would be my last visit here as I have had an extremely terrible experience

Xiaofei Song-Bauld

I find Dr. Haider very attentive and takes you seriously. The staff team is efficient! The front staff have never been rude to me but I have witnessed them being rude to others when uncalled for. Overall though, best walk in clinic I have been to!

Arun Kumar

They have timing for clinic upto 8 PM and when I arrived they said they are closing today at 5 PM. They dont have any update time on online portal. I was really suffering and they dint attend me. What should I say ,we immigrants are here for quality of life which is nowhere especially in Medical services...Even in India doctors consider their profession a noble profession while here it's a professional practice only.

Lorna Keeping

All good at this place..

Debbie Moore

The doctors are good, specially Dr. Bhanott and Dr. Shaifta Jabeen, they are caring and nice to patients. But there is a tattooed fat girl who claims to be the manager in the front desk, is very rude. Either she should take a course on 'How to be nice to people' or she has no right to work in that position. Other front desk people I found with nice attitude.

Musaad Albareeki

Umar Haider is useless, ignorant, rude, abrasive, unacknowledged, didn't even sit down to listen to me in order to rush me out as soon as he could. first an last time to go there. Oh.. and the front desk lady was such an ignorant doing nothing but using the office phone to make personal calls and laughing her guts out in front of all patients waiting

Colin Miller

After spending a frustrating week trying to find a walk-in clinic in Halifax that actually accepts walk in patients during covid, a friend recommended this clinic. I phoned them to confirm that I could indeed actually walk in and was pleased to receive confirmation. I showed up early in the morning and was first in line. They were professional, friendly and efficient and the doctor quickly and effectively fixed my issue. Thanks to all the staff at Clayton Park Walk-in Medical Clinic.

Cynthia Marriott

Doesn't matter what time you come here the wait is going to be an hour and a half on a good day. They "open" at nine. Except they start taking people at 8 so it's always packed. Never again.

The front desk is very nice and very helpful. But the male doctor there was very bad. He barely checked me and just said go visit your family doctor. I don’t recommend here.

Omg it’s horrible waiting time Doctor didn’t show up for 1h and I’m still waiting he suppose to be here at 1. Absolutely no value for Patients smh. I don’t know what to say to be honest it’s my 3rd time here and still nothing changed.

Let's get real: it's a walk-in clinic so you can wait three hours before seeing a doctor. However, the friendly staff manages that well, telling you right away how long you'll have to sit in the clean, comfortable waiting area. The doctors are good to deal with, especially from someone like me whose been told by the provincial government I'm 36,000th in line to get a family doctor. Having one just around the corner with great weekend and evening hours makes me feel I haven't fallen through the cracks. You can arrange to have blood tests sent here. Great comfort, along with care. A well-done but sadly necessary service.

Awful. Horrible front desk people. Treat people like filth. And they close 15 min early for lunch for 2 hrs! Woman at desk must of taken some special training on how to dehumanize people while talking to them as if she is a righteous queen. Save your dignity and go to another clinic that actually cares and maybe respects people enough to not ignore them for 5 min as they stand right in front of the front desk only to be spoken down to, turned away and made to feel like filth. I must say I find it hilarious that they chose the 3 reviews that say nothing but a defensive 'front desk staff are great and kind' to highlight. Meanwhile your collective review sits at a sad 2.7. Rather than shamelessly trying to fool the poor sick public why not perhaps admit your service is bad? Or better yet change your bad service people? You know...own your faults rather than hide them. Regardless, healthcare in this province is gasping at it's final breaths. Medicine, hospitals, clinics...etc have become a playground for in many cases unethical bullies who are given a free card to intimidate, abuse and dehumanize the public that is in need. Keep it up...

Dirty, overcrowded, long wait time... And the most bitter, rude receptionists I've ever met. They were pleasant with me, but to the patients who spoke less English or were elderly and confused they were downright mean. One receptionist called out to the waitingroom for people to stop talking about her... No one was talking about her.

Excellent for a simple problem or prescription, but the doctors often rush you by. Once complained of a sharp pain in my lower abdomen and after feeling my stomach the doctor just shrugged and sent me away.

Long wait times, no attempt to triage or prioritize people based on severity of illness. Force you to stand in line holding the door open for 40 min before even taking your name (managed to make the 2 people ahead of me take that long just to register). Absolutely no concern showed when i collapsed to a seated position thanks to there being no option to sit without leaving the line. Havent seen the doc yet but if it's like this clinic has been in the past I worry really should have just gone to the ER

I waited 2 hours for a the doctor to say my problem was all related to stress and it will be better in a few months and I've had this issue for over a year ? I'm okay..

I've been using Park West walk in since I moved to Halifax 15 years ago. No matter which Doctor you get to see, they are excellent. For some reason they are better at their jobs than the Cobequid center in Sackville. The last two times I was sick, Cobequid sent me home telling me it's all in my head. When I went to Park west the next day, I was properly diagnosed, and given antibiotics and felt better a couple days later. Over the years I've been treated by most if not all the doctors at Park West, and each was great. In fact one time I had a sore throat, ( I forget which doctor now, it was years ago) the doctor thought it was just a cold and sent me home, HOWEVER two days later, the doctor called me himself, not the secretary, to apologize, my swab came back positive for strep, and asked me to go right in for a prescription. everyone makes mistakes, at least these Doctors own up to it and treat your illness. Some times there's a long wait, but the level of care is worth it.

The wait was about an hour on a Sunday morning which is not that bad and expected. Reception has attitude but they deal with a lot, and are kind as long as you are patient with them. Once you get in to see a doctor, they're very quick and will address you concerns appropriately. I'll be heading back even though I have a family doctor.

Very rude staff and a doctor who only seems to want to rush you out

I was super disappointed by the Dr! It seemed he wasn’t interested to listening my problem. After waiting for 3 hours at the clinic I had this experience!! I felt so helpless.

Horrible... opened at 130 after making people wait outside in the rain. The lady on the desk was quite overwhelmed by the amount of traffic and showed her frustrations,(very unprofessional) To top it of the doctor didn't bother to show up until 2:19 (very unprofessional). Writing this as I wait to see the doc. Users beware ????

Why so many comments about the bad attitude of the lady at the desk....and she still works here....not good....if she doesn't like her job she should go elsewhere !!!

Rong Lu

Rude staff, short brisk useless appointments with their doctors after huge wait times, and they charge for services that would be free with a family doctor. It is heartless to be profiting off of an epidemic doctors shortage in this province.

The front desk ladies have a very bad attitude, i had an appointment at 12: 45 when i reached at 12:30 she told me wait till 2:00, they are rude and don't deal with patients respectfully
