It was my first visit to Waterloo Smiles Dentistry and I was blown away with the service, communication and level of comfort. My dental hygienist Maggie, was amazing - she walked me through everything she was going to do and made me feel as comfortable as possible. I felt like I was at the spa with the hot towel service and lavender/laundry fresh essential oils used on my bib! I can tell that they really care about my dental health at Waterloo Smiles and after my visit, my teeth & gums already feel much cleaner and healthier. A big step toward preventing any more cavities! My experiences for the past few years have been wonderful, I highly recommend Waterloo Smiles to anyone looking for a new dental office. The staff are kind, friendly, and attentive. The dental care is high quality and they offer a wide variety of services. Appointment times are flexible, so you can come in early before work and later in the evening. They also go above and beyond in patient care. They provide wellness options like aromatherapy (ex. lavender to help you relax), hot towels for your neck, massage options on the patient chair, and taylor the experience to your preferences. For example, you can select chatty conversations and quieter appointments, the amount of educational information they provide (whether you want to know everything or prefer bare bones essential information only), you can have random hygienists or a regular one, etc. Each time I'm there, I'm so relaxed that I either get lost in the conversation or drift off to sleep. This is coming from someone with a blood phobia who used to faint at the sight of blood. I feel completely safe in their hands. My hygienist Esha is fantastic. She has a warm and kind personality, is empathetic, and is super gentle during cleanings. A typical cleaning appointment at any dental office usually stings and hurts, but not with Eshya. She is very careful so I barely feel anything. I was also having a rough day and she cheered me up by distracting me with fun and pleasant conversation. I was touched by her kindness, she had a heart of gold. I couldn't have asked for better care.

Our family have been with Waterloo Smiles Dentistry for about 5 years now. Dr. Husain's team is very professional and friendly. The visits have always been pleasant (even for someone like me who doesn't particularly enjoy dental visits). All dental hygienists, particularly Esha, are knowledgeable and do their best to make our experiences enjoyable. Front desk staff, especially Candice, do a great job coordinating our appointments, so that we get timely reminders, and are very flexible in rescheduling appointments if needed. I've had nothing but friendly, professional service from all the staff that work here and Dr. Hussain is amazing! I am welcomed with a smile every time I go. They are extremely detailed and thorough, caring about each and every tooth in my mouth. After any kind of work that I need completed, whether it be just a short check up or something more extensive like a filling or a crown, they are always very concerned about my comfort level. I even get a follow up email the day after, to see how everything feels. Dr. Hussain even responds to my emails on the weekend, if I'm having any concerns. I love that they have massage chairs and aromatherapy options to make me feel more relaxed. I've always hated going to the dentist, but coming to Waterloo Smiles is almost like going to a day spa! I need usually a lot of special notes and am pretty picky about my dentists, but they have exceeded my expectations. As a new patient I was pleased to learn that they submit your claims for you to your benefit provider. This just makes life easier. I have had x-rays, a cleaning and a couple of fillings so far. The staff at Waterloo Smiles are genuinely kind people and they care to make sure you are comfortable. They have a higher standard of customer service and I really appreciate it. I think there are two major differences between my last dentist and Dr.Husain. One is that she is very down-to-earth and explains everything to you. The second is that my fillings were pain-free! I don't like going to the dentist in general, I never have. Recently I had a comprehensive exam done (read LONG visit) at the dentist but even though it was a long visit I left feeling pretty good about the visit. Even the things I least look forward to such as polishing and cleaning were relatively painless too. I often have a headache after but when I told them they were very careful to take special care during the parts of the visit that I dislike and I felt fine. Also they have a super modern facility which helps with being comfortable while there.

No waiting around for Dr. Hussain to do the exam because she's kept up to the minute on when she's needed where. - The whole business runs smooth and they are extremely customer centric. My family and I are very lucky to have found Waterloo Smiles. It's been quite some time since I've been to the dentist for myself, I'm very nervous at the thought of someone working on my mouth. Dr. Husain gave me four fillings in one appointment and she left one half filled. I went back the second day and she said I chipped it (FINE) but she doesn't have time fix that painful half filled hole until like 7 days later. So I went to another dentist and when she check it she found another filling not cleaned properly. Dont go to this place if you need a filling, only 50/50 chance it will work

For any given treatment she will walk you through the pros and cons while leaving informed unbiased choices to be made by the patient. I had a great experience at Waterloo Smiles this week. I have worked with a couple different dentists now, and Waterloo Smiles has really stood above the rest. They are thorough and client-focused (my first visit was 2.5 hr) and they took the time to explain everything to me as my visit went on. In the past I had different tests done that weren't always explained to me; Waterloo Smiles was very different, and they went over everything they were doing and made sure I understood it. I had Jessie for my cleaning and she was fantastic; she was very gentle and the cleaning finished much faster and with less pain than I am used to. There's also a lot of little details - like resting your head on a hot towel - that seem like a bit of a gimmick but really help to calm you down and make you more comfortable. I would definitely recommend Waterloo Smiles. I didn't think going to the dentist could be this painless.

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to find this amazing team at Waterloo Smiles Dentistry. The warm, welcoming atmosphere puts me at ease straight away. Whether it's a routine check up and cleaning or cosmetic and restorative dentistry, you can put your mind at ease too. The friendly, knowledgeable team led by Dr. Husain treats you like you're their only client. I just had another routine cleaning and Esha, as always was outstanding. Going to the dentist is always stressful for me but all of the folks at Waterloo Smiles are warm, friendly and top professionals, always putting me at my ease. Dr Husain is a bit of a miracle worker for me, and Jessie my hygienist is the best! As i said to her after our last hygiene appointment, she 'has a great touch as a hygienist'. Thoughtful, considerate and very gentle, which is greatly appreciated by me! 5 stars for Waterloo Smiles!!

Whoever thought it was a good design idea to have the dental chairs facing the window at street level on King St, should be fired. I'm horrified by the thought of getting dental work while the general public watches. For shame.

Dr Fowzia ruined my teeth, she gave me ten fillings when I didn’t have any cavities or need fillings at all. Also the entire time she was doing my fillings, she was having a conversation with her hygienist about their love lives. She’s ruined my teeth and all because I had medical insurance that included dental. She duped me in to believing her that I needed ten fillings. And yes I was a patient, I was referred to you by a friend Dr. Fozia. Who the hell does ten fillings in like 2 days. And a root canal that I didn't even need. Shame on you. Im a little older now, so know better, but at the time I was in my early 20's, first job out of college with dental. So yes... I was your patient... and shame on you for the denial. And shame on you for using my insurance to make $$$ and destroy my teeth in the process. I should have reported you to the National Dental Board of Canada.
