Recently became patients. My two daughters loved their first visit. The staff and dentists were accommodating above and beyond their duty. Recently my 6 year old had a dental emergency. Dr. George Carere stayed beyond his work hours to help us out. Made my girl comfortable and fearless for the extractions. He did an excellent job with the dental treatment! Dr.Aadil Shamji checked in on us as well. Wow what owner goes out of his way to offer extra care and support for the patients of the practice. Both dentists have such great compassion for their patients. Highly recommend the office, your family will be well taken care of. Thank you Trillium for the genuine care!!!

I had a filling that came loose and since it was less than a year since it was done they did it for free. The filling was a bit high so I had broke it. This is the best dentist, they always do a good job and don't take overly long. I also hate freezing and the dentist I go to is comfortable doing minor work like small fillings with no freezing which is great.

I believe that a dentist, patient relationship should be built on trust. I heavily stressed how uncomfortable going to the dentist made me after having a horrible experience in the past. I was excited to find Kim Beaucage, she was kind and friendly however things quickly turned negatively. I had my checkup and x rays done, we determined which tooth needed immediate treatment as it was causing discomfort. When I went in to have my filling done, I thought it was just that, a filling but instead Dr.Beaucage placed a temporary filling without my permission. While I strongly believe that the dentist are skilled and qualified to make decisions I feel like I should have been asked what treatment I felt comfortable moving forward with. I booked an appointment right away to have the filling replaced with a permanent filling for the following week. When I went in Dr.Beaucage informed me which filling she was going to tackle next even though when I made my appointment at the front desk I stated that I wanted that temporary filling replaced. I told Dr.Beaucage that I would have never agreed to a temporary filling, she apologized and replaced it free of charge. Aside from being left in the dark about my course of treatment Dr.Beaucage is a lovely, kind and patient dentist.

I have loved my time at Trillium. Normally I prefer smaller family dentists but after I moved several people recommended Trillium. The facilities are really nice with TVs on the ceiling. Both dentists I met with were super friendly and really took time to explain things to me. They aren't just trying to get your money and pushing work you don't need. My hygienist was super nice and the gentlest I ever had. It is super easy to book and change appointments. Highly recommended.

I am very nervous at the dentist! And because of this I have been avoiding booking an appointment for years. Dr Hussein helped with this immensely. He brought me in for a consultation just to look at how my teeth were doing and then we had an easy conversation about the next steps. He never made me feel embarrassed or pressured to book my next appointments. He was frank, yet comforting. I was still nervous for my fillings appointment but Dr Hussein and his team made me feel safe and walked me through each procedure. The nerves about the dentist didn’t totally go away but I was able to easily cope with them during the appointment. I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr.Hussain and it was a very easy and quick experience, he had all four of my wisdom teeth out in under an hour and kept me calm the entire time. A couple days after I had some concerns about my stitches and I was able to go in the same day to have Dr. Hussain take a look to tell me everything was okay. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and nice, they’re aware of the fears that come with dental procedures and do everything they can to help you stay calm, I’ve been going here for a few years now and every experience I’ve had has been fantastic.

I got all four of my wisdom teeth taken out last Monday and it was a very smooth experience. The staff is very accommodating as well as Dr. Hussein. The procedure was very easy and I felt completely comfortable the whole time. Dr. Hussein made sure to talk me through everything and make sure I was comfortable. He was very informative. I didn’t get put under or on laughing gas, I was just numbed and this sped up my recovery. Even after the staff has been so accommodating. I was able to come in for a check up to ensure everything went as planned just days after. Trillium Dental has been my dentistry all my life. You can’t go wrong with them. Dr. Hussein recommended some work but I did not feel any pressure in making a decision as to follow through with it or not. The guys at Trillium are absolutely amazing. So professional and clearly they actually care about their patients. Took every precaution to keep us all safe during Covid and really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The standard of work is really top notch too. I’ve been going to Trillium dental for the past 5 years and each experience is always a pleasant one. I actually look forward to going to the dentist when I know it’s time to get a checkup or cleaning done. I had my wisdom teeth taken out about a week ago by Dr.Hussein, he was amazing. I felt comfortable during the procedure and the staff at the dental office even called to check up on me the next day. Trillium is a great dental centre! I chose them at first because they had extended hours (open evenings and weekends) and had many staff that could accommodate different schedules. I did Invisalign treatment with Dr. Hussein and he was fantastic. Explained everything as we went, tried to make it as easy of a process as it could be. The dental assistants, hygienists and admin staff were all lovely to interact with and always super helpful. They even mailed me my final retainers when I had moved before treatment was over!

We can not said enough of the service Dr A Shamji has provide us with. My 3 girls age 11-8-6 adore him and are alway exited to go see him. ( I know, not normal) but he makes their dentist visit this comfortable. Few years ago One of my little ones had a tooth infection and the tooth had to come out at one point. This was a Friday and long weekend ( when tooth was pull out) Dr Shamji went out of his way to give us his contact number in case there was any trouble during the weekend. Sunday morning my phone ring it was Dr Shamji calling to check how my little one was doing. Wow For him to take time out of his personal time to do this...Show us how much he cares for his patients. The team at Trillium Dental are all super friendly and welcoming to the office, which is extremely clean and modern. Lots of stuff to keep your kids and yourself occupied while you wait. Located right in Conestoga Mall, it is accessible by bus as well. Dr. Shamji is knowledgeable and informative when it comes to the procedures he's doing, and pain management during/after getting work done has been minimal to none. The office accepts OW/Disability Benefit Cards accommodating everyone's needs and going above and beyond when it comes to helping people afford dental work. Could not be more satisfied with the quality of service at Trillium Dental. I went in yesterday and had 3 root canals performed by Dr. George Carere. I have a severe phobia of dentists and made my fears known; the dentist was so gentle and patient with me, constantly reassured me that everything was going as it should and was explaining almost everything he was doing. I found great comfort in that and had a great experience emotionally. I waited until the next day to write the review to include any symptoms I may have, but Dr. Carere did such a fantastic job I feel no discomfort whatsoever. After 3 root canals! The entire team was absolutely amazing from reception, to the assistant that helped the dentist, to the dentist himself.

IF YOU NEED INVISALIGN- GO HERE!!! Seriously! Coming from the person who went to EVERY Invisalign-providing orthodontist and dentist in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and even as far as London and Milton- THIS is the place to go! After my terrible Invisalign experience at my previous dental office, Dr Hussein graciously worked with my case and was able to straighten my still completely crooked teeth in just over 2 months. On top of that, he offered me incredibly generous discounts and worked with Invisalign to make my second treatment wayyyy less costly, since I wasn't even able to use my first treatment from the other dental office. Dr Hussein listened to me when I told him what I was most concerned about, and he delivered everything I wanted with my teeth without telling me I needed to compromise! Even things Dr Hussein saw a little differently (like my front two teeth are a little wider than average, and he explained that he could use IPR on them and that that could assist in treatment, but I said I liked their shape and he respected what I wanted!). And even with something as 'unimportant' as the attachments- EVERYWHERE else told me I had to have attachments across all my top teeth like braces- Dr Hussein put two little ones on the canines of my top teeth and that was it! And I didn't even have to ask him to! And my teeth got straight! (All the dentists that refused to do that for me should be taking notes). I had so many problems with dentists and orthodontists wanting to do more to my teeth than what would've been good or feasible. I wanted them straight as quickly as possible as my wedding is coming up, but all they would ever see is my overbite and tell me they needed to pull molars or shave a half millimeter off of all of my front top teeth (sacrificing the unique look of my teeth and making them much skinnier in appearance) or add 20 attachments and 5 elastics and that I'd need Invisalign for the next two years. Dr Hussein viewed me much less rigidly, he saw my teeth and smile not as something that needed to be conformed to the absolutely 'ideal bite', but explained to me that if he pulled teeth or did what the other doctors wanted, it would jeopardize my side profile and do more aesthetic harm than good. He knew that I was having no issues whatsoever with the mechanics of my mouth, and all of my concerns were cosmetic, so he listened to the reasons I wanted treatment and helped me achieve those goals. It was so refreshing that he viewed my smile as a part of my whole face, instead of sacrificing my facial appearance for the sake of a 'perfect' bite I wouldn't even feel or notice. (For the record, even the orthodontists I'd gone to had admitted that my bite was still ideal functionally, so Dr Hussein wasn't ignoring anything important by taking less drastic measures, he was just seeing my situation more completely and compassionately- instead of being stuck on one rigid idea of perfection he helped me achieve exactly what was best for ME, and all within the timeframe and budget that I had hoped!!). Really, I never ever write reviews on anything, but after spending literally countless hours (I'm talking weeks) researching Invisalign and other orthodontic treatments and visiting every doctor I could, I am SO GLAD I found Dr Hussein. He is honest, kind, he listens, and he is not at all greedy- I've never seen a dentist offer so many complimentary services to his patients, especially one that's SO knowledgable! He had my best interest in mind, he didn't try and force me into anything radical, and he worked with me to get my teeth exactly where I wanted them to be. And he continues to be available even now! He always returns phone calls directly, he's obviously very busy but he takes time to speak one on one with you whenever you need it. I can't say enough, my experience could not have been better!!

I can’t recommend Trillium dental enough. I have had several dental problems in the last year and have no insurance so going to the dentist can be a stressful experience for me, but at Trillium I know that I am getting the best treatment and they make it a calm and pleasant experience. The rest of my family has even started driving an hour just to come to Trillium Dental because of how well we are treated. Don’t bother trying several different dentists like I have, Trillium is the right first choice!

It is good to visit this clinic , but please be aware of the following points! 1) The dentist works on the two patients simultaneously. 2) they do not adjust the filling when they are filling the teeth and when you visit the dentist for the adjustment, they charged you for examination check-up!!!! 3) Please do not talk about your insurance with them and Don't give them any access, since they will know how to use up all of your insurance even without informing you!!!

If you are looking for a dentist, look no further. Dr. Aadil Shamji is kind, professional and talks you through everything thing he is doing. The dental hygienists are also fantastic. Warm and friendly. I can't not mention the amazing front desk staff as well. They are helpful regarding billing and also make sure you are ok while you wait for your appointment. This team is absolutely amazing! I hadn't been to a dentist in nearly 10 years because I didn't have insurance. (Don't do this! Make a point of saving money and just go!) Needless to say that I had a lot of work that needed to be done. Dr. Shamji and I made a plan and bit by bit we have fixed many issues. Today was a difficult filling because my mouth wouldn't freeze. Dr. Shamji tried different methods constantly checking on my pain. We finally had success and got the filling done with zero pain. So no matter how difficult and complicated I had TRUST and knew Dr. Shamji would get it done. I have to reiterate how at every step of the way he made sure I was comfortable and had a say in what we were doing. A real professional. Trust me and my review. You want to go here!! Even my husband to be who is like many of us and "hates going to the dentist" went and has been so happy with the service and treatment. We will both have health happy smiles in the near future.

After 2 fails at 2 other Dental Offices, I decided to try Trillium Dental. Sure glad I did. I had a tooth that cracked about 5 weeks ago. I was getting throbbing pain and pieces were still chipping away as I ate, didn't taste very good. I called Trillium and they got me in the very next day. Once the area was numb it took about 15 minutes for Dr. Hussein and his assistant Kristina to have the tooth out. I was back in my car and back to work. If I could give Dr. Shamji and his team more than 5 stars, I would. I am an extremely high-anxiety patient, and avoided the dentist after my last check-up and fillings with Dr. Shamji for a couple years. I came in to get my permanent retainer fixed, and Dr. Shamji took time to ask me why he hadn't seen me lately. After explaining that my anxiety was worse than ever, he was very comforting and understanding. He made arrangements to ensure I was completely comfortable so I could relax enough to have a cleaning done. He explained everything that would happen in detail and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. The biggest difference from him and any other dentist I have seen is that he took my anxiety very seriously and I felt like I was respected throughout the experience. He goes above and beyond for his patients consistently. He is gentle, kind, thorough, and his team are all wonderful. I recommend Dr. Shamji to everyone I know. Also, his receptionist Shiloh is a ray of sunshine.

This dental centre is a well oiled machine. Right away booking was so simple, the staff was very attentive and highly responsive. The detailed client form in advance saves you time and the COVID pre-screening was contact less which was very safe and efficient. Upon you send a text so the waiting area would not be flooded and kept their clients moving safely though their appointments. This was the first time I have ever gone to a dentist appointment and not waited at all. Upon entry the staff members were attentive and very welcoming. The entire place is spotless. You can tell every expense and effort has gone into creating a safe environment for their customers and staff members. When you are watching people work you can tell a lot about an environment. You can tell the team works really well together and are very respectful of one another. It was a really nice energy, it didn't feel cold at all. Jessie, Jack and Laurie helped us out they were all punctual, welcoming, kind, educated, gentle and attentive. I have never been to the dentist where the dentist didn't seem to be in a huge rush, Dr. Shamji took a lot of care and time with us. He was really kind and spoke directly to my kids making them and their concerns feel validated. He didn't treat them like they weren't there and talked over them to me the entire time. He explained everything he was doing, showed them their x-rays in detail and made every effort to have them open up to him about any fears or concerns they have about their teeth. He was super patient and understanding every step of the way! He somehow seemed to know exactly what to say to make me calm down during the operation. Even after my procedure, he took the time to call me a few times to check up and make sure that all was well! Like many people, I have pretty bad anxiety about the dentist due to horrible experiences in the past. I'd been avoiding the dentist for about 4 years because of my last experience, until a toothache started this summer that quickly became unbearable. I held off as long as I could manage, and then someone told me they had similar anxiety issues but really loved Dr. Hussein at Trillium. Boy am I ever glad I decided to call them. Every step of the way, Dr. Hussein and his assistant Sierra were so great to deal with and made it easier than I thought a dentist visit - a root canal no less - could ever be. I've also been for two cleanings since becoming a patient, and I love the hygienists I've met so far as well. Whether you just want a good dentist with a nice office and staff, or you're so afraid of the dentist you haven't been there in years, you will love this place. They have earned my loyalty for sure.

Hello, I recieved a wisdom tooth procedure done by the amazing dentist there. A lot of other places wouldn’t take me or thought it was to complicated... even with a lower income as well this dentist was amazing all the way through.. my wisdom teeth had grown in at a later age I’d say and we’re giving me problems & severe pain. This doctor did everything with freezing and was able to pull three of my teeth, and everything went fine. I’m in a little bit of tenderness now but it’s worth it to not have a life time of pain anymore. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, as well this dentist & his staff are amazing ! I have developed many sensitivities to different chemicals, including anesthesia or freezing to block tooth pain. Unfortunately, there are few options for people like me...one of the options is to have work done on my teeth without anesthesia. I started working with Dr. Aadil Shamji about 2 years ago. He has replaced multiple fillings without the use of anesthesia, in a professional, efficient and (almost) painless manner. I am very comfortable at all times and he explains the procedure, as he completes the task at hand. I never feel like I can't stop the procedure, if necessary. My experience at Trillium Dental with Dr. Carere was OVER THE TOP! I had to make an emergency dental check-up as something just didn't feel right.. Dr. Carere introduced himself to me, completed the examination and advised me that he needed to complete a root canal. Have been going for a few years now and I have yo say yhe staff and dentists here are very amazing. They are attentative, kind and genuinely care about you and your teeth. Jack the oral hygienist is probably the best hygienist I have ever had in my entire life that knows how to clean teeth. He gets the entire mouth done in that 1 hour and later teaches you how to properly brush your teeth with one of the dental mouths. He is very very very gentle and is very attentiveto your hygeine. I dont think I would ever switch Jack the hygienist. The other hygenists are just as amazing as well however Jack deserves the real MVP trophy You'd be a fool not to go here.

This used to be a great dental office when Dr. Shamji was there, but lately it has just become a money grab. I have told them again and again, I will book a cleaning every 6 months, but they continue to call me every 3 months saying I need to come in for a cleaning. Even if I tell them no, I will see them in 3 months, another staff member calls the next day to say the same thing. I have seen them write in the chart that I want a cleaning every 6 months, upon my insistence, but they still call. They have also been suggesting ridiculous, unnecessary treatments. They used to just suggest these things, as if it was for my information, which I appreciated, but now they present it as if you don't do the latest, greatest treatment your teeth will rot and fall out in two weeks. They have turned to high pressure sales tactics and insistence on expensive, not needed, let's do this because it's the latest fad treatments that I cannot afford and do not need. They even suggested that I need to put braces on my 8 year old, whose teeth are nowhere near crooked. 8 year olds do not need braces! Even if I tell them that I cannot afford to have certain things done, they continue to ask me every time I come in, saying I need to have this or that done. Everytime I say, yes, I know you, but I honestly cannot afford it. It leaves me feeling used and abused. I will not go back here. The last straw was when they told me that I needed to have some fillings redone - THEY THEMSELVES HAD JUST DONE THEM LAST YEAR! AND NOW THEY NEED TO BE REDONE??? Unless you are the type of person who has lots of money and always needs to be the first to try things, I suggest you find another dentist too.

Last week I had a couple fillings by Dr. Aadil Shamji and my experience was absolutely incredible. Like many, I was terrified about my dental appointment but Dr. Shamji and his assistant Christina were compassionate, honest, patient and caring. Dr. Shamji communicated every step of the procedure to me and repeatedly asked me if I was okay or in pain; his concern for me was very comforting. In addition, he mentioned several times that he could stop if I needed a break; knowing he wasn't in any rush really put me at ease. I really felt like Dr. Shamji was easy to talk to and attentive; he listened to my concerns and welcomed by questions. As far as the actual fillings, I couldn't believe the procedure was pain free! In the past, the injection of the numbing medication has hurt but Dr. Shamji applied something to my mouth prior to doing it which really helped. The feeling of a numb mouth was odd but allowed for a comfortable procedure. He must be very skilled! I highly recommend Dr. Shamji and his team; I am confident you will be blown away as I was.

Dr. Aadil Shamji worked on my 5 year old son as he had a handful of cavities that needed to get fixed. I don’t have to say that getting any dental work done for a 5 year old is daunting but having heart issues on top of it caused a lot of stress on us. I then switched to Trillium Dental over 10 years ago and have been very pleased and satisfied with the care that I now receive. I had wisdom teeth extraction almost a year ago at this clinic, and it was my worst nightmare where I got complications and nerve damage. During the extraction, I still feel they were drilling holes in my gum and it was bloody painful even after getting various freeze injections. I yelled for help and got another shot of anesthesia. And eventually, they used brutal force to take the tooth out. The week after surgery, I was in constant pain. The antibiotics provided by the doctor were all taken and the swell didn’t go down. I went back and got another prescription but it wasn’t helpful. I had to get another third-party doctor to check it over. Of course, the worst nightmare happened as half of my tongue can’t taste a single sense. The tongue feels numb and I got a constant cramp on the side cheek. Imagine you have a huge swell hole in your mouth and you get cramp on it. I could not sleep at night and woke up many times from the pain. The cramp is eventually gone but the nerve-sense is forever gone. Lastly, during my third visit coming back to the clinic for a re-check. Doctor Hussein told me that if I re-visit again he will start charging me. They are still in business, but half of my tongue will never come back. Before extraction, I asked them if the complication ever happened before, and they claimed no. I want to leave this google review here to advise others that complication does happen. And perhaps choose a dentist with more experience in town. Posted a photo just to show that I was actually a patient there. The pain caused to me was permanent and knowingly that there is nothing I can do to feel normal again. I wish this experience won't happen to anyone else ever again.

I went in with a lot of pain and anxiety and came out with all the answers and best treatment options. Their pleasant demeanour immediately puts me at ease which is great because I am always nervous about having dental work. I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes beyond my booked appointment time. In fact, I am usually taken right on time or even earlier! There is a wonderful group of personable dental hygienists and dental assistants who ease any anxiety with friendly banter and a thorough explanation of the dental work being done. Trillium Dental also has a group of highly skilled dentists to choose from. I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Aadil Shamji’s patient for the last few years. His dental work is excellent. I have teeth with a history of being difficult, but Dr. Shamji always rises to the challenge and works his dental magic to ensure I have the best oral health as possible. During procedures, Dr. Shamji remains very conscious of his patient. He reminds me frequently that we can stop at any moment with a simple wave of my hand. Dr. Shamji’s freezing technique is amazing! Trillium Dental is the best dental clinic in the area and they have the best doctors. Dr. Aadil always goes an extra mile to ensure comfort and satisfaction. He is very knowledgable and is very patient with all my inquiries. Cherry on the cake is their quick appointments. They value your time and schedule you within a week, you don’t have to wait 3-4 weeks just for an appointment. They never pressurise you for anything and only advise in your best interest. I recieved an email on Friday night telling me my appointment was rebooked to 9am the next morning, but when I showed up they had already booked that space to someone else. The receptionist was professional about handling it, but this still shouldn't happen. Edit: I have been contacted by the staff and owner to apologize. Mistakes do happen, and as frustrating as this was, I am impressed by their dedication to customer support.

I just had my first root canal done by Dr. Husien and his assistant. They were great! I didn't feel anything with regular freezing only. I usually get very anxious with dental procedures and visits and they were very helpful and understanding. Never did I imagine an experience at the dentist to be a memorable one filled with compassion and patient-centric care, opposed to one that is impersonal, judgemental, and “routine”. I was visiting my family in the city and needed to schedule a check-in at short notice. From the moment I called in to ask for availability to the time I walked out the door after, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional care and kindness I received. The attention to detail from easy-to-fill forms online and clear concise text reminder to the visual review of the x-rays was evident. Each step was carefully explained to me in a way I am able to understand, which helped me stay curious and invested in my treatment plan. Each person that was part of my treatment was respectful, patient, and always made sure I was comfortable along the way. Words can’t express how appreciative I am of an environmental that is emotionally safe and inclusive (coming from someone who had numerous anxiety-driven experiences with dental care).
