When I first booked my first appointment at 247 King I was extremely terrified to see a dentist . Especially after my horrible experience that I dealt with 20 years ago by another dentist in the states. The staff at 247 King, especially Dr Elwi, I will forever consider them like my guardian angels. They made my visits so comfortable and extremely professional. Normally going to the dentist or even getting your teeth cleaned/examined is something we like to avoid. We tend to push our appointments back as much as possible. However, this is not that kind of place. This clinic has a warm atmosphere, kind and relaxing staff members and an extremely clean and organized place. I tend to do reviews when it’s something drastic like a horrible experience but I needed to do a review for a great experience.

First time visiting a dental clinic in the waterloo region and had my nerves through the roof due to a recent visit I had in Toronto. Maria and Hafsa sitting in the front counter were sweet and had me settle my nerves. After filling out my information on their tablet I was met by Anu D the hygienist and she performed my checkup. Which were my exrays, to cleaning and polishing. Beautiful setup for each room and impressed on how advanced their equipment are. Dr. Elwi had a look at me including my exrays and was great on explaining what needs to be done. Anu (the hygienist) was wrapping things up for my session and informed me of ways to ensure my mouth stays perfectly healthy. Anu was so great, happy she took very great care and had me calm through everything. Rarely write reviews but happy to inform the public they were great and most definitely have them perform anything dental related in the near future. ????

I had a filling done at their old location last year and I have been having some sensitivity with it lately and as soon as I called to inquire the receptionist booked me in for the latest appointment for a free recheck . Also in a very convenient spot near the starbucks on the corner of king and university . The new office is beautiful as well!!

I had an appointment for a wisdom extraction, and am a low income patient (ODSP recipient). I didn't want a pill for a quick procedure, and Dr. Hytham Elwi lied to me about why he was unable to administer nitrous oxide. The dentist claimed that because of covid the use of gas was not permitted, and I could look the information up on the Royal College of Dental Surgeon's website. Reception said I could be sent to another dentists office but they would tell me the same. This was clearly not the case, and other dental offices I reached out to advised they were still using nitrous. I called 247 King Dental and was told they were waiting on their license, and apologized for the misinformation. I had an appointment booked tentatively for a date when they anticipated their license to administer the gas. Now they want to charge $140.00-$170.00 for the nitrous? I'll go somewhere OHIP units can be applied. I opted out of their offer for a free whitening ($249 value) and took a $15 toothbrush as a parting gift instead

This place has been great for my routine dental check ups. The staff is very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. That includes putting on The Office on Netflix on a huge TV while my teeth were being worked upon. And the doctors provided the best recommendations, no unnecessary fear-mongering. Genuine advice which is rare to find these days. I really prefer this place than any other Dental service providers in Waterloo!

Amazing service and staff. I had an emergency and they scheduled me on the same day. The office administrator (Hafsa) was very welcoming and provided me with enough information to calm my nerves (I'm not a huge fan of dental work it gives me anxiety).They are also very accommodating when it comes to payments, if you do not have insurance coverage they do their best to help you. I definitely recommend this place. This will be the only dentist I will visit from now on!

One of the few offices that really care and value their patients. I came in for checkup and cleaning but they advised on getting the bigger fillings done instead as it is more important. They provided me all financial details before hand and directly billed my school insurance as well. I have never experienced such patient care before.

I have a very hard time going to visit the dentist regularly, but 247 King Dental is by far the best dental office I have been too, even if it means driving from as far as the Durham region to get my teeth cleaned. The equipment they have is all new, and little touches, such as a sink at each dental chair, and the ability to choose whatever i wanted to watch on Netflix during my treatment, made my visit very pleasant. I hadn't been to a dentist in five years and it was worth the wait. From initial correspondence via IG, every exchange was warm, friendly, and informative. My questions were answered swiftly and courteously. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the very friendly staff. Everyone was personable and professional. Anu, my dental hygienist, was wonderful. She was engaging and she explained what she was doing as she went along with my check up, x-rays and cleaning. I felt very at ease and even learned that I have a baby wisdom tooth haha. I also have several cavities and am actually looking forward to having them filled next week! Thanks to everyone for such a pleasant experience!

I called 247 King Dental and they were able to get me an early appointment. The office looks amazing! Very new and clean! The staff were nice and friendly. Overall a great experience. I went in for a cleaning and it was one of the best cleanings I have had. Also got dental work done by Dr. Natasha Kaushal , she made me feel very comfortable and gave a honest opinion on what I needed to get done- would highly recommend her. I never had a tooth ache until I came here. It started off with a routine check up, then I was told I needed a root canal (since it was covered by insurance which I had at the time) I went along with it, the dentist that was scheduled to do my procedure didn't end up doing it, it was ANOTHER dentist. After drilling deep into my tooth, this other dentist said I didn't need a root canal and that a filling would suffice. Now 2 and a half months later, I have extreme tooth sensitivity to hot and cold, My tooth hurts when I eat anything, and tooth pain that I never felt before. I think the dentist purposely gave me a filling when a root canal was what was NEEDED. Now I will have to pay more to get the root canal. I will be calling them to discuss this, I no longer have insurance and it'll cost an arm and a leg. WRITING THIS IN PAIN.
