Heavily disappointed with Signature and can't recommend or endorse Dr. Turpin's work after a recent experience with having a crown adjusted.
At the time of the original work (2013), I was told by a member of her team to expect a lifespan of approximately 25 years for the crown if proper care was maintained. I certainly did that, and also avoided the obvious foods and habits, like biting into an apple, etc.
When the tooth came out earlier this summer, I scrambled to make it to the practice for a quick fix. After Dr. Turpin told me it was "too bad" and a "shame" that I'd lost the tooth and crown -- and with me signing on to get it fixed over several future appointments for a cost of $2,300 -- I was charged $100 on the spot for the temporary fix.
After assuming the latter fee would be absorbed, given the situation, I didn't even bring along my debit card for the emergency appointment.
Just today, I received notice (via text) that my future appointments to restore the original work were cancelled as a result of me still owing the $100.
As I said, I'm disappointed and hurt beyond measure by the lack of professionalism I received on this matter.
If Dr. Turpin/Signature would like to reassess their take, I'd be fully willing to adjust this review. Otherwise, I'd suggest everyone be weary -- and advise to also ensure the receptionist and dentist are on the same page when it comes to patient history.
