I was referred to this orthodontist by our dentist for my 11-year-old. During the consultation, Dr. Shirvani was very clinical, did not have a gentle manner and traumatized my child. After the examination, he listed all the things that were wrong and said that in some cases surgery is needed. This scared my son and he started crying. The doctor didn't comfort him, but instead rolled backwards like he was repelled by this reaction. Then he said, oh, but, it's not usually needed for kids. Why would you even bother saying that if it's not needed? And perhaps you should ask the parent if it's OK to go over the issues in front of the kid. It can be very overwhelming for adults let alone a kid if there is a lot of work that needs to be done. It was literally the worst visit to the dentist I have ever had and now I need to convince my kid to return to another office for a consultation. Seriously, get some training to work with kids.

Mandy, Hygienist, and Dr. Farshchi have turned my dental health around. They are extremely compassionate and great with my anxiety about dental visits and both very experienced and skilled. Both are great communicators also about what is needed/what is happening during the visit/what to do post-visit and explain things very well. I have been to two other dental clinics and have had much less positive experiences there and even though they were fairly nice, I really see how sure Mandy and Dr. Farshchi are with their hands and skilled they are with the procedures (cleaning, crown, fillings). They looked out for all the procedures needed, and were looking out for my dental health for the long term.

I had an extraction done on a molar last January because of a chronic infection which totally bummed me out. Losing a tooth felt like a personal failure! Art of Smile (also my spouse's dentist) is the one I I chose for getting an implant. An expensive investment so I t was important to me that I felt confident about the whole process. The doctor is professional. gentle, explained the steps and took great care of me. The process was over a few months but was virtually painless, thorough and state of the art. My new tooth feels like it has always been there. The support staff are friendly and professional. The clinic is clean and I felt I was in very good hands. Highly recommend.

I never like going to the dentist(but who does?). I moved into coal Harbour neighbourhood and decided to give the Art of Smile clinic a try. I was so glad I did! unlike many other dentists, Dr. Eiman was so nice and patient, and genuinely cares about his patients. He took the time to talk to you and listen. He definitely made going to the dentist so much easier for me! The hygienist here also did an amazing job and she was such an angel! My experience overall was quite different from what other clinics and I will definitely stick with Art of Smile :) I highly recommend this clinic to everyone especially if you had bad experience elsewhere!

I’m a loyal client for many years now. Receptionist is always happy to see visitors, always on point with insurance refunds. They always call me to remind of my annual check up - I don’t even have to think about it. Doctor makes your treatment as comfortable as possible: extra freezing was provided to me for one very sensitive tooth, which I really appreciate. Watching Netflix while getting dental work is just an awesome bonus :)

This is my third appointment with them and I would like to recommend this dental clinic to everyone. I am very pleased with the dentist and the staff, and I believe they can help everyone with their problems and issues. First of all I was very impressed with the clinic. I have not seen such a modern clinic anywhere. The layout and the equipment's are stunning. Dr. Farshchi took a number of pictures with their cool camera and spent lots of time explaining my issues and problems and the cost was lower than my last dentist.

Dr. Eiman did Step 1 of my Implant successfully. I had no pain, no bleeding, no swelling the next day. I followed their post surgery instructions carefully and it really helped. Now I will be extra careful with what I eat until Step 2 of my implant, a few months later, after the gums healed. Thank you Dr. Eiman, Susan and the reception, they are a good team.

Dr. Eiman Keshvari is an outstanding and a great doctor. I have had inflamation on my gums for over a year and a half and have visited a few doctors but noone could fix my issues. When I visited Dr.Eiman Keshvari, He knew exactly what to do and fixed my gums and the beauty of my teeth in the easiest and most professional way possible. THUMBS-UP: Dental Hygienists Mandy and Alaa consistently provide thorough scaling which I appreciate. And Mandy's personality is an asset to any dental practice that is lucky enough to attract and retain her services. Location is convenient for those who work or reside in Coal Harbour. Waiting room and operatories are modern. I appreciated the exceptions that were made to complete direct billing despite the administrative changes that were announced due to the pandemic. THUMBS-DOWN: As a long-time former patient of Dr. Mahsa Farshchi (who is no longer practicing at this dental practice), I was extremely disappointed to learn of her departure after inquiring with the practice just days before my scheduled appointment. Had I not done so, I would have made this discovery during my visit and by then, it would have been too late. The fact that the practice thought it would be acceptable to have another dentist perform my examination knowing that I consistently schedule my appointments to match Dr. Farshchi's attendance (a.k.a. I am a loyal patient of hers.) is a clear indicator that they place priority on profits rather than on the relationship between patient and provider. My preference would have been to have the practice exercise common courtesy by informing all of Dr. Farshchi's patients that she was no longer part of the team instead of purposely keeping us in the dark until we're sitting in the chair. Not ok. And for-the-record, I AM a former patient of this practice. The reason why you won't see my profile name in your PMS is because I am using a pseudonym.

My experience at The Art of Smile clinic has been terrific. Dr. Mahsa Farshchi is extremely knowledgeable and patient. You can just feel how much she cares as she goes above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. I have TMJ problem so any kind of dental work is uncomfortable for me, she gives me breaks during my dental sessions and gives me facial/jaw massage to ease the tension. The rest of the team are also very nice and pleasant to deal with. They took good chunk of time taking care of my insurance paper work cause there was some sort of a complication. The dental hygienist that has been by the doctor's side during my visits is also very caring and professional. Overall, I am very happy with this clinic and recommend it to family and friends.

A few months ago, I was desperately looking for a good dentist to do an implant job for me, especially when it was one of my front teeth. I had already seen other Drs Whom my friends recommended to me but I couldn't trust them. I found Dr. Eiman and now he is working on my dental needs. I was so lucky found him. His assistants are great, kind, and expert in their job. The office assistants are two young, and tireless lovely girls.who know their job in the best way. I've been a patient here for over two years. The staff is very nice and friendly. They are very punctual, and I usually go into the room within three minutes of arrival. The office is clean and beautiful. Dr Farshchi is very nice and Knowledgeable. Last year, I got my wisdom teeth removed, I had almost no pain. The next day I was even eating a crunchy apple. Not only was only half the work really needed to be done, but their approach and professionalism was top notch. They take care of you, ask you if you're ok, and have a great amount of patience. It’s been one year that I have been going to the clinic. The invinsialign treatment costed me almost $6000 however I still have gapping between my teeth. Doctors keep changing and no one seems to take responsibility that my treatment has not gone well. They told me they will call back and it’s more than a month now and I am still waiting to hear back from them. But they do remember to charge me on my credit card every month. After a couple of bad experiences at various dentists I ended up coming to Art of Smile based on the reviews I saw. I've now had two appointments, (one cleaning, one set of fillings), and overall I've been quite pleased with my experience. The dentist and dental hygienists who have taken care of me have all been pleasant and highly informative whenever I asked questions. While getting my fillings they took photos of my teeth before, during and after the procedure and took the time to review and explain all of them so I knew what was going on. Overall I'm more satisfied with this dentist than I have been with any other in the past decade and will be using them for my dental needs for the foreseeable future! (Also, the front desk staff is incredibly friendly and helpful when dealing with payment/insurance. One even gave me a replacement hair tie when mine broke in front of them. It's the little things like that which I really appreciate.)

After horrible experiences with two other dentist's offices I tried my luck at this one. I have been experiencing severe pain on one side of my mouth for a year now and have only been able to chew with one side for the entire time. Before coming here I had a combination of 6 fillings (2 teeth redone 3 times) and 1 root canal in an attempt to fix the problem. Unfortunately none of this worked and my old dentist had basically dismissed my request for a second root canal on the proper tooth after finding out he had done one on the incorrect tooth. After explaining my situation to the dentist at this office he ran some tests and decided a root canal would be the best course of action. He did extra tests the day of to make sure we were working on the right tooth. Hallelujah THE PAIN IS GONE!!! Visit this dentist if you want one that will actually listen to you and diagnose the real problem ????

I got the lovely Amira on the phone, who talked to me so nicely, was concerned for my well-being and just over all was such a kind person. I missed the appointment in the end, completely my fault, but Amira kindly rescheduled for me and I'm so impressed with the service, even though I was completely to blame. Thank you for your patience and kindness The Art of Smile! Edit: I had my appointment with the incredible hygienist Mandy. She is the epitome of professionalism and kindness. She gave me the most gentle, yet thorough cleaning I've ever had. So much so that my appointment was at 4pm and I didn't eat until lunch time the following day!! Mandy, no doubt tired from a busy day, was so attentive and really took the time to explain things to me. Thank you Mandy, you are just wonderful. PS: any Irish attending they also have "aoibh gháire" on the wall (the Irish for smile????).

Since I moved to Vancouver, I found it hard to find a new dentist. I came across the Art of Smile and I decided to give them a shot because they were easy to get to and its nearby. The first time I went there I had a great experience. They did x-rays plus the cleaning. I found that the hygienist was super nice, very patient, compassionate and walked you through everything that she was doing. Second time I went, I had doctor Keshvarynia do a check and he created a treatment plan. He used a camera and showed me things I have never seen before in my own mouth. Dr. Keshvarynia was very patient, attentive and funny. The hygienist was awesome as always and she gave me so much information that when I walked out of the office, I felt like I was brushing and flossing wrong my entire life. Can't forget the receptionist, they are very professional and super friendly. Would definitely recommend them.
