Dr Ilana Kraus was the best dentist I have ever seen. I was with my family dentist for a long time and then finally decided to try Dr. Kraus who's education and current training seemed exceptional. As it happens, Dr. Kraus's bed side manner and professionalism exceeded my expectations on all levels, as she provided a very comfortable and enjoyable dental experience using the most modern tools and procedures. I had a cavity which she took care of as well as a cleaning and some cosmetic work done, all of which were super comfortable and painless. Would definitely highly recommend Dr. Kraus to anyone looking for an amazing dentist. 3 cheers and 5 stars!

I wouldn't say that I've got a phobia of dentists, but it'd been years and years since I last had insurance and went and I was really horribly, tummy-wobblingly embarrassed by the state of my teeth. After cracking an old filling, I finally put on my big-girl pants and asked around for recommendations and a friend said to try Metropolitan Dental. Boy howdy am I glad I did. My hygienist was so lovely and did such a great job. Dr Plaitis went through what needed doing with my teeth, reassured me, and explained everything in a way that was informative, reassuring, and not condescending in the least. Four of five stars! (If they could do weekends and evenings, it'd be that extra star.)

I went to this place based on yelp reviews. The doctor did the fillings but when one of the filling came out, I went back and he got angry that it came out because of me. I never complained that the filling didn't work, but he became very defensive for no reason. On another issue, his view was that he doesn't know how to fix so I should find someone else. The most terrible dentist of my life.

Meh, never really felt like she cared about me. A filling she installed fell out 2 months after, she charged me an exam fee when I went in so she could fix her work. Luckily my insurance covered it 100% but still... I have moved on to another dentist.

Caleigh, the hygenist, was professional and personable. My teeth felt great after the visit. Dr. Plaitis explained my x-rays and what might be required so well - he is really great at that! Then Dr. Plaitis checked my teeth, and found no action required for now. I like his conservative approach. Other dentists seemed like they want to fix all potential problems with crowns even when there is no presenting problem today.

Bad customer care. Dr Platis was angry and passive aggressive there was a great deal of confusion around my care plan. He was short tempered and basically told me he did not want me in his chair. Go figure

I really hate going to the dentist and usually I get super anxious when I see the dentist but the staff is amazing, I feel very comfortable when I am there. I went to Dr. Kraus for my invisalign and it took 10 months but the results are AMAZING. If you are looking to get invisalian, I would highly recommend Dr. Kraus. :)

I've been a patient of Dr. Platis for over 10 years and have always been very happy with the service. Reception staff are always very pleasant and I'm never kept waiting. During the times when I didn't have a dental plan or my plan didn't cover certain things, this office was always very reasonable with their fees. I chipped a tooth soon after moving out of town and decided to find a dentist closer to home, but the new dentist wanted to take extreme measures - a root canal. I went back to Dr. P for a second opinion and he fixed the tooth very quickly and easy - no root canal necessary. What i like about him; he's never tried to gouge me by insisting that i get unnecessary procedures like many other dentists try to do. It's worth driving in from out of town.

Dr Ilana Kraus made the dentist an enjoyable experience. I was looking for a new dentist after the one I went to for years retired. Im happy to say She is my new official Dentist and I highly recommend her. She's detail oriented, really sweet and very knowledgable. I got my teeth zoom whitened as well she did some bonding work on my teeth. My smile never looked so good :D

What a positive experience coming from a person who has a phobia about dentists and dental work. Dr. Kraus and the staff make their patients feels so comfortable and secure. They are always friendly and appointments on time. I would highly recommend Metropolitan dental. Dr. Kraus has a a high standard and her work is high quality, she is very thorough.

Dr. Kraus is thorough, very kind and work being very high quality. She will take every care to ensure all my questions are answered in a way I can understand them. In my experience, she has never rushed me or push unnecessary or aggressive procedures. Dr. Kraus has always provided me with her professional opinion, and discussed the pros-and-cons of multiple scenarios. The scaling hygienists are friendly and thorough. I also wanted to take note of the front desk staff for their patience, and professionalism. In particular, in my experience to date over the past 3 years, Jessica has gone above and beyond in helping me understand my dental insurance and proactively seeking information from my provider, addressing the administrative process surrounding all my procedures and appointments, and answering (or finding the answer) to all my many questions. I hope this quality of service never deviates, and I'll never need to find a new dentist in Toronto.

It took me years to find a good dentist I trusted. Dr. Kraus and her team won me over by sharing findings relevant to me from recent dentistry studies while working on my teeth. Funny thing is, I started to hear other dentists talking about the same findings 5 years later. I've seen the results first hand, as my teeth are in the best state they've been in in years. I've been highly recommending Dr. Kraus and her team to my friends and family, and have also heard the same feedback from them. I have very high standards for any dentist I am going to see. I don't like going so it's got to be a good experience. Dr Kraus always treats me with respect and informs me about everything she doing and reassures me when I'm nervous (so like all the time basically). I'm rejected 5 other dental offices before going here and I have no plans of ever going anywhere else.
