I really appreciate how warm and welcoming the atmosphere is here… especially considering the fact that dental work can be scary. I was immediately at ease as soon as I entered the establishment. Everyone from the dental assistants to the dentist, were very polite and accommodating. Another thing I can appreciate is their patience. At no point while I was there, or even while booking an appointment, did I feel “forced” to make a decision or immediately move forward with them and my dental work. Covid protocols were followed and the office was clean. I’ll definitely be returning here to do more dental work in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

I went to Dental Emergency Services on a cold winter night....I was having pain in my gum, and so I needed to see a dentist right away. Upon my arrival, everyone was super nice to me, ranging from the receptionist, to the dentist assistant and, ultimately, I got to meet the best dentist anyone could ever have. Dr. Thomas Minkov not only was amazing and reassuring to me that night, but he was also there for me when I needed him the most (a gesture I will never forget), and he proved to be very knowledgeable, versatile, professional...he truly made a difference that night for me. It turned out I had a gum infection and I needed antibiotics...Thomas not only prescribed me the medication that I needed, but he was also very patient explaining to me how to take it, and followed up on my condition a few days after, just to make sure I was doing better. Since then, I've been seeing Thomas on a regular basis and now I can say that it's such a blessing having him in my life. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing that Thomas is there for me and I will never stop being grateful for everything he's done for me since I met him. He is an exceptional guy, very warm and friendly, and I truly have the best time every time I see him. To be honest, I couldn't have hoped for a better dentist !

I was unable to get an appointment with my regular dentist as they shut down at 2pm on Fridays and not reopened till Tuesday. Thankfully, I was able to get in for a dental emergency appointment within hours. Front desk and nurse were friendly. Dr. Andrew Heinola was very patient with explaining my situation to me. I was generally pretty happy with my experience. Billing is as expected higher due to it being an emergency. But it was well worth the bill to not have to worry about it till Tuesday.

Everybody was extremely friendly. I am scared of dentists and they made me feel extremely comfortable. I would recommend them to everyone. My sister took a hard fall and fell face first shifting her front tooth back with immense pain and blood. Dr. Alberto and the assistants took my sister in without a hassle and treated my sister. She is very happy for the quick service. Thank you so much!

Recently had some trouble with a molar chipping off a chunk of enamel, exposing the pulp and nerve. Not fun. Left it for two weeks before calling 1650 Yonge clinic. The clinic was very clean. The staff is very professional and thorough. The dentist answered any questions my concerns. The dental assistants were courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Cornelia, who was one of the assistants that I interacted with, is a natural at superb customer service! She has poise, excellent telephone manner (which is rapidly becoming a lost art in most other places nowadays), and she was very helpful, efficient, and caring. She promptly followed up on my situation, very caring and compassionate. Reflects well on the clinic as a whole! Thank you so much!

I was surprised to be given an appointment within an hour of when I called. I was seen quickly by a friendly staff, and given excellent care with great communication. I obviously don’t want to experience another dental emergency, but I’d definitely go back again!

A trusted dental emergency clinic. Its fast and professional. The dentist met me in my scheduled appointment that I made over the phone. From the reception to the dentist, you’ll get the feeling of hospitality. Also, the clinic is clean.

It was an okay experience. The appointment was for 1:30pm but didn't end up going in until 1:45-1:50pm. People had to wait outside of the office in the foyer where the front door was and it was cold. Also, it was quite expensive ($350) to repair a chipped tooth only temporarily. At least the amount the dentist charges is for a permanent fix! If it wasn't for the fact that this was an emergency, and our dentist recommended it, we would have gone elsewhere. Hopefully we won't have to use this service again.

Great customer service! Such a lovely, pleasant and helpful staff. The doctor himself was great. I went for an emergency tooth filling and the staff as well as the doctor provided information and step by step instructions to make the whole process do easy. From the conversation on the phone with the front desk, to the appointment set up, and the experience when I got there only 15 mins later, was all a breeze and such kind and nice people. One of the most friendly and wonderful experience I've had at any walk in clinic!

What an amazing place! I went there in massive pain but I couldn't stop smiling the entire time. The doctor and the hygienist who did my pulpectomy had such a great sense of humour and bromance that it made my visit so much more enjoyable. They seem truly passionate about what they do and everyone has such a great rapport with each other that you feel the friendly, positive vibes. Highly recommend this place for your emergency teeth needs.

Broke my temporary crown on Saturday night of the long weekend called the Dental Emergency Centre. They were super fast at getting me the first appt on Sunday morning @8 30am. Dr.S who checked my crown explained very thoroughly my options as they were not able to help with my situation due to crown and post were broken, without the impression of the original tooth could not do a job that would be stable to keep until my permanent crown was ready on Thursday. They were very thorough and friendly explaining my personal dentist would be the best option to rebuild both post and structure for the new permanent crown. They did not charge for checking only for the x-ray image. I would definitely recommend the Emergency Dental Centre awesome response and concern shown from my initial contact with their office.

Was very quick to get an appointment, and the price wasn't too bad either. Even if you have a dentist it can be hard to be seen right away in an emergency. Would highly recommend! Staff is very kind and helpful! Plus they were able to assist with my inflamed impacted wisdom tooth, will 100% go back again!

Unbelievable experience. I broke my front tooth off completely at the gum line and was able to get an appointment here within 2 hours. The tooth was capped in what seemed like minutes and I was back home for dinner. I can’t say enough about the dentist and his staff. I feel so lucky to have received such professional and courteous service. They were amazing.

I had to rush in to this office for emergency - - - had severe tooth pain due to extraction from before and I needed to see someone right away. I was told to come right away to the Yonge street office---was treated promptly by the staff.... And the dentist, not only she put me at ease but also provided effective medication that stopped the pain within hours! She sat with me and discussed whats the best course of recovery for me and offered every help there was! 5 star all the way for the staff too.... Anyone who's in a dental emergency can try their office, 100% recommended!

Thank god I was able to get an appointment at Dental emergency services. I was experiencing severe pain in one of my tooth, turned out it was actually infected, it could not have been saved so I had an extraction done, the surgery went well, within 24h i was experiencing minimal to no pain at all ,great service Thanks.

I came to DES with a broken filling needing to be taken care of quickly on a Friday evening due to the sharpness of a pin protruding through the gum. The dental assistants and office staff made me feel welcome and they were joyful, positive, and incredibly professional. Communication was timely and appropriate. Dr. H worked very quickly, efficiently, and astutely discussing options and considerations for this tooth. He is intelligent, interested, and very knowledgeable. The work done on my tooth demonstrates a very high degree of expertise and efficiency. DES is a superlative dental practice.

Had dental emergency on New Year’s Eve. Called around everyone was closed but not these guys. I was provided with excellent and prompt service. They emailed me my dental X-ray and payment invoice. Very well run clinic. The Dr. I saw thoroughly explained what was going on in my situation. Cost was very reasonable for services performed especially on such short notice. They were very kind and took me in with no appointment necessary!! I had a dental emergency and they took care of it right away. I feel much better now! Would love to hear more about my dental x-rays and the condition of my teeth but other then that, the team was wonderful!

The dental emergency service was amazing. At 9:30am on Monday December 27th, I was greeted by friendly and efficient staff and the saw the doctor who diagnosed an infection in my tooth. He prescribed an antibiotic and pain killers. When I got home and the medication started to work, I felt much better. I don’t know what I would I would have done without the emergency service. In the New Year I will go back to my regular dentist. Thank you again for their excellent service!!

My partner had a fall on the pavement and shattered both of his front teeth. Dental Emergency services took us in only hours later and gave him X-rays and temporary caps. The doctor on call was great she fixed his teeth and gave us a reference for a dental surgeon. All the staff were friendly and caring, I would have them as my regular dental office if I could. Service is really fast and I like that they are open Saturdays (i think the weekends), which is critical for dental emergencies. They go by appointments, so you know you don't have to line up. Doctor and assistants were very friendly and professional, they made me feel I was in good hands.

Hi, The service I experienced was nothing but professional. It started with my call with which I was able to obtain an appointment within hours of the call. From the time of my arrival until my departure it was all professional. I arrived at about 5:00 pm and out by around 5:30 pm. Even with the extra precautions required by COVID-19, everyone at the clinic, from the receptionist to the X-ray technician to the dental assistant was wonderful. The receptionist was warm and reassuring and told me I could come in immediately. Once I was in, the dental assistant and Dr. Desai, the dentist, were both friendly, professional, and highly competent. I give the center one star as the reception and dentist were very kind. I also got an appointment quickly. Unfortunately I feel like the service was a complete waste of money. I went in on a weekend with significant right side pain in my jaw. Quick x-rays were taken and a very short dental exam (all done in 10 minutes). The dentist indicated no issues and told me I likely has sinusitis (despite radiating pain, a sensitivity to cold, and sharp sustained pain after the exam) and suggested I see my doctor. The pain continued to worse over the next few days. My doctor sent me back to my normal dentist. It was quickly discovered I needed an emergency root canal. I paid to be in pain for four extra days. Just wait and see your regular dentist

Harvey assistant and Dr Alberto Vasquez were extremely helpful, communicative and delivered great service. The two spoke with such genuine attitude that made me understand the problem. Most dentists I’ve dealt with were forceful with their advice and thinks they are gods but these two were free of ego and made me comfortable to raise my concerns. Fast and quality service!
