My experience at Atlas Dental was excellent. Dr. David is an excellent dentist. I got a teeth cleaning and he did an extremely thorough job. I had some teeth calculus problems, but they were dealt with thoroughly. I also received trays for teeth whitening, and everything went smoothly with that. He’s very patient and thorough in explaining the process to me. And Donna was incredibly helpful in filing my claims at my insurance. I would definitely recommend this place. Update: I just had my tooth implant placed yesterday, and I am so happy with the outcome. It’s the same color as the rest of my teeth and Dr. Nguy is so nice to check on me the next day if I am ok and comfortable with the new implant.????????

Dr. Nguy took out all four wisdom teeth for me at one 20 minutes appointment. Everything was so easy and relaxing for me, opposite of what I thought. I did not take even one pain killer after, and the bleeding stopped after 2 hours. Just amazing.

Dr David Nguy is really professional and patient though my left wisdom teeth took long because the way it was growing.I was surprised because the healing time is really quick without pain and swelling after anesthetic gone. I had a terrible spill the other day, the kind where you think, “Uh Oh! This is the beginning of the end! No more steak, crispy french baguette…”I slid tripped and ground my front teeth and lip into the cement. After cleaning my lip, I called the Atlas dental office and discussed the situation with Donna, the office coordinator, we decided that while I could come that morning at 7:30 am, perhaps I should wait two days for the lip to heal a bit. The tooth in question could manage. When I got to my appointment, not only did Dr David Nguy fix my front tooth perfectly, but he managed not to re-open my lip in any way. I felt so cared for and supported. Dr David Nguy and all the staff deserve 10⭐️‘S!!!

Scheduling a dentist appointment is not something that people generally get excited about. To be completely honest, I have never really enjoyed the experience until I became a client at Atlas Dental. After my first visit, I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality and level of service that I didn't hesitate to schedule my next cleaning on the spot. All the staff at Atlas Dental are wonderful. They are personable, punctual, professional, highly skilled, and dedicated to their client's overall dental health experience. I have never felt like just another client or invoice. They have always welcomed me and taken the time to get to know me and my specific dental health needs and concerns. Dr. Nguy is absolutely fantastic. I recently underwent a dental procedure and Dr. Nguy took the time to check in and see how I was doing. I actually did have some concerns, so I emailed him back. Not only did he promptly respond to my email and address my concerns that same evening but he also took the time out of his busy practice to follow-up with me a couple days later to make sure the issues had resolved. I have never had such professional and caring treatment. I would highly recommend (and do) Atlas Dental to all of my friends and family. Thank you to the entire Atlas Dental team for always making my dental visit a pleasant and comfortable experience. I look forward to my next appointment :)

I highly recommend this dentistry! I was having severe toothache and loosen teeth during the pandemic, and no dentist would offer me any help (assuming it was not an emergency). Atlas Dental, They provided a free consultation and scheduled me an appointment! They found out my previous dentist has broke the side of my tooth, And Dr. David Nguy Fixed it right away! I didn’t feel anything! (*^o^*) This place is greatly affordable and extremely cautious and kind when it comes to the procedures! Hope the review helps! I really really recommend this place!

Dr. Nguy was caring and very professional. He helped fit a crown for a molar that had long been causing problems over the past few years. To my surprise, despite a compromised tooth, I experienced no pain or sensitivity whatsoever. As well, Donna (receptionist) was great at helping me through a health benefits claim that involved extensive back and forth communication between Atlas and my insurer. I'll be seeing Dr. Nguy regularly from here on out.

Saw Dr. Nguy during the lockdown when I was having tooth pain and turned out I needed extraction since my tooth had cracked to the root. He was able to quickly diagnose this and scheduled me for an extraction within same week. Communications were easy and office was very comfortable. I was even able to watch some movies while I was waiting for my procedure which made things easier. Extraction itself was virtually painless and recovery was uneventful. Highly recommend.

I had my lower left wisdom tooth be extracted by Dr David and it went really well! I was afraid since I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and whether or not there would be any actual pain during the procedure (as has happened to others I’ve known at different dentists) however he was thorough and made certain it was completely numb before starting. I haven't seen a dentist for many years (almost 10) because of bad past experiences. I came to see Dr David for an emergency consultation due to excruciating toothache that just couldn't wait longer. After checking out my tooth and doing an x-ray it turned out my filling was loose and my tooth cracked. Since he couldn't save the tooth, extraction was the only option. I was shocked as I wasn't prepared for this at all. I also have an irrational fear of dentists and my tooth was incredibly painful to the lightest touch. I must say, I am so impressed with Dr David, as he might have cured my fear of dentists. He was so patient, gentle, kind, accommodating, making sure I was comfortable all along. He gave me the option of having the tooth (a molar) extracted right away or another day. I didn't want to deal with more toothache so I agreed to have it done on the spot, with local anaesthetics. I called my son who came by to support me and drive me home afterwards. Dr David gave me enough time to prepare myself, take my antianxiety medication I brought along, then froze the area with a gel and gave me two injections. I didn't feel anything other than pressure. While waiting for the anaesthetic to kick in I asked him to explain the extraction procedure to me, which he did. When I was ready he talked me through every move he was making and I swear to God he extracted the tooth in 5 minutes. Yes, 5, and no pain!!! I still can't believe it! I am so happy, so relieved and so impressed!! Dr David has my vote of the best dentist I ever encountered, and after the covid quarantine is over he will sure see me again to check out the rest of my teeth. Thank you Dr David, you're the best!!!!

I came to the office with a bit of nerves when trying to find a good experienced cosmetic dentist around my area. After bunch of research I ended up finding Atlas Dental and trusting the process. He offered a free phone consultation before comjng to the office during Covid which is nice. After my Invisalign treatment with my other dentist there are some work needed to be done to have a perfect teeth. I came to Dr David Nguy for one tooth veneer and some bonding work. I got the composite veneer for the tooth that being discoloured and I wasn’t happy with the its shape. Dr David Nguy really did a good job on reshaping it and blending the shape and colour of the veneer which is a challenge for one tooth veneer to blend well with the rest. After the visit he messages his patients to make sure everything ok and happy which is a plus +++++. After identifying some problems from the first visit I came back and asked to fix the some issues and he was very sweet and nice to fix the issue. Def would recommend to other friends if they need some teeth work done.

In the mid-March COVID-19 era, I left a voice mail in the morning and was seated in the chair 2:00 p.m. Dr. Nguy proceeded to smash out a wisdom tooth by himself as I listened to an entire string quartet album. Yes, no pain and all appears to be well—the crucial extraction follow-up appointment, not an available option at this time. Dr. Nguy emailed and texted to follow-up and responded to any questions or concerns.

He explained the whole surgery and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I get very nervous/anxious about getting dental work done, but Dr. Nguy made me feel very comfortable when I had to get a tooth extracted which I had put off for two years. Afterwards, during my recovery, Dr. Nguy kept in contact with me via text and let me ask questions when I had concerns, he was always quick to respond. When I was having problems he offered to take a look and I was given a clove oil dressing which made me way better within the hour and prescribed me some antibiotics, and didn't charge me for the visit. It was a great experience and now I will call him my dentist.

I came across Dr Nguy looking thru the list of emergency dentists available during Covid 19. It was roulette really, and I am so greatful my wheel landed on him. No pun intended. I had an excruciating tooth ache for 2 days and just couldn't take the pain anymore, called Dr Nguy and was immediately put at ease with his telephone manner, he ran through a list of questions and then he quickly set up an appointment for me within 2 hours I was in his chair. The office is extremely clean and sanitized, he was fully protected, I was advised to wear a mask upon arrival. All safety measures were taken. He did a quick xray, was advised of the problem and then was offered 2 solutions one of which required tooth extraction. I have never had a tooth pulled, so I immediately got nervous ???? Dr Nguy was amazing!!!!! He put me at ease, explained the procedure beginning to end. The passion in him is admirable as he confidently let me know how he prides himself in his tooth extraction capabilities. Decision made! Let's pull the tooth. His needle was good, manners great! Beginning to end 10 minutes top! It was absolutely an easy experience and definitely a pleasure to see the passion he takes in his work as oppose to some who are just all business. After my experience with Dr Nguy, I have decided to switch dentists and continue on with him.It was a nice feeling to feel like an actual patient and not a dollar sign. I came in an emergency visit for my inflamed wisdom tooth. Dr. Nguy took less than 5 minutes to remove it, smooth and skillful. The receptionist was friendly and responsible. There was something wrong with the insurance that day and she insisted to contact my provider to find out the reason and help me put the claim. All worked out. Location-wise, it's really in the downtown core, but I was surprised that there are plenty of parking spaces around the building. Last but not least, I do find their online booking system is way in lead of most of the dental clinics I have been to. All available time slots are presented in the online booking system for reservation. No need to deal with the back-and-forth of time arrangement over the phone. Booking is never made this easy.

I recently came across this practice from a google search when I was looking for dentists that were still open when other practices, like my family dentist, were closed due to covid-19. It had been frustrating for me when I had a really bad tooth ache and nothing had been helping. I can't express how appreciative I am of their services and dentist professionals in general who took the time to see patients during their off time. They were quick to take a consultation on the weekend and see me the very next day. The pain I was experiencing was quickly relieved by Dr. Nguy and I could not be more grateful. He is very knowledgeable and makes the dentist experience stress-free as possible, especially for someone as anxious about going to the dentist as me. For about 8 months I had a cracked tooth that was sensitive to hot and cold and just overall painful. During covid it got considerably worse and I hadn’t been to the dentist it quite some time. I found Dr.Nguy through a reddit post offer phone consultations and thats where it all began. I went in for an examination and a root canal was necessary. It was my first time having the procedure done so I was a bit nervous but Dr.Nguy skillfully completed the procedure, over the course of a month I came back to finish the tooth and get a crown. Recently I visited Atlas Dental Clinic as Dr. Nguy’s new patient. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was ready to explore and resolve my medical problem. I reached the clinic, a little bit emotional. I took a deep breath and I entered. Instantaneously, my energy changed completely. I emerged from my cocoon and I am already feeling like home! Beautiful medical reception, friendly atmosphere? A big and happy Yes! I think now that is more than that. After all the introductory discussion, I was ready to meet Dr. Nguy in person. And ... it happened. In few minutes I am there, on the dental chair, extremely comfortable, talking with Dr. Nguy in a very open manner. The conversation is flowing and with delicacy and care, Dr. Nguy explain to me clearly, patiently all the medical issues, the protocols and the results. No fear, no concerns. I felt the doctor-patient connection right away. The intervention? State of the art. No inflammation, no pain, no signs of infection, no complications. A little detail here, I am a MD my self. I know my expectations. The care for me ( and I am sure 100 percent that Dr. Nguy offers the same standard of care to all his patients) , beyond the moon and back. A steady and very experienced hand, a clear approach, medical knowledge? Yes. Dr. Nguy is a very talented specialist. So.... The conclusion is .... The office manager Donna was my first point of contact a couple of weeks ago, from the start she made me feel at ease. I explained to her that I had a painful toothache that wasn't going away, I was feeling anxious and scared. Donna offered to book an appointment for me with Dr. Nguy and was very accomodating. My appointment was at noon and I was seen promptly. Dr. Nguy was friendly and professional. I was fearful when an extraction was recommended but Dr. Nguy was very patient and understanding. I asked if I could come back later in the day to have the extraction done and I was accommodated with no questions asked. The actual extraction was painless and Dr. Nguy took the time to explain some post operative instructions.
