I have always had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dowhos and the staff at Grandview Family Dental. I hadn’t been in for dental work since 2015, thankfully I did not have any cavities although I had to have fillings replaced due to a ‘hard bite and grinding of my teeth’, my fillings were almost completely gone! Although there was some discomfort after from the freezing, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend giving Grandview Family Dental a try if you are looking for a welcoming experience. I have lived in a number of cities throughout Ontario and this is Dental Office has been the best experience for dental work I've had. The staff's ability to treat you like a long lost friend is greatly appreciated By far the best front office staff I have dealt with. Hygienists are non-aggressive and the dental assistsants combined with the dentist make the experiences I have had painless and somewhat enjoyable....on a skull drilling level of greatness. In an odd way, I am actually looking forward to my next dental appointment.

Very friendly and inviting staff. Dr. Kam does amazing detailed and intricate work. If you have a young child getting fillings for their first time, I recommend booking with Dr. Dowhos. He has more patience and takes a gentle approach. Both are great dentists with unique and special skills.

I've even met Dr.Kam (although he's not technically my dentist) and he is very pleasant as well. Everyone is very nice to talk to and I appreciate the text message reminders of upcoming appointments. Everyone is very friendly and pleasant at Dr. Dowhos’s dental office. The receptionists greet you when you arrive. The hygienists and assistants make sure that you know everything that you want to know about the procedures you are in for. The dentist is very personable, he explains everything thoroughly, and has excellent chair side manners and skill. You will be shown photographs to help you understand what has to be done and why. The whole experience from beginning to end is very reassuring and well-explained, so you don’t have to worry about anything. I enjoy my visits to this office.

In many professions, there is a minimum standard the individual has met in order to practice / work in their chosen field. Having said that, there are some professionals who naturally exceed that minimum standard and/or increase their skills, so that they offer their services in a manner far better than their colleagues. Dr. Paul Dowhos is one of these. He accommodates his posture and approach while working, for the best comfort of the client and has the skills and goal to customize his approach for each person, including those that cannot open their mouth wide or for long, or any who might have other issues during procedures. I am confident and pleased, to recommend him and his staff to all.
