Dr. Wilson is the only dentist I have ever had. I have been with him since he opened his first practice in downtown Stratford in the same building where his father had his medical practice. I like the new equipment and the fully renovated interior. It is a big change from the smaller "solo practitioner" style of practice that Dr. Wilson had employed previously. Loses one star as their follow-up reminder phone calls and emails are too frequent in my opinion. That seems to be a pretty common approach of many dental offices though, as the same can be said for the dental office my kids go to (in London).

I used to dred going to the dentist, even though it's usually only for a cleaning but there is no stress going to River Dental. Hannah and every hygenist I have been to have been absolutely awesome. June 2021, . . . .went in for a repair of a chipped tooth. Came out with 2 of 4 recommended fillings. One was located incorrectly, even though I told her she had the wrong tooth. The second repair turned out to be a long distant antenna, able to receive painful radio waves from the International Space Station. I went in for a follow up and now the pain is unbearable and I don't sleep at night. In other words, be very careful as your experience could lead to long term pain. I am a patient of over 20 years, saw many turnovers and a name change. Truth be told, my neighbor warned me. Now I seek a true professional to repair the damage. One Star was needed to post this comment.

Never going back. Extremely expensive. The dentist and the assistant were busy gossiping about another employee. Had an appointment they cancelled on me 5 hours before the time, making me waste a day off work, then on the reschedule I ended up with a last minute emergency and they tried to charge me for a cancellation. Had two fillings done here and they have both had to be redone by another dentist a year later, the new dentist was pretty upset with the quality of the work done. It was great when it was just Wilson...

I went here for a complex dental procedure on the advice of a friend who is a staff member-- felt comfortable right from the first visit and consultation with Dr. Palleck. The procedure was surgical, so, fairly involved and a bit long-- was very impressed with professionalism, attention to sterilization, and the efforts of everyone to ease my nerves :) Also, very pleased to have healed so quickly without pain or complications. I used to go here before Dr. Sylvester retired. Him and his team were always fantastic. I hadn't been in years before I moved back to Stratford, when it was rebranded as River Dental. When I went for a routine cleaning, they quoted me a huge sum of money and said I had nearly a dozen cavities to fill. I thought this was odd and I asked the technician for x-rays. Against my better judgement I asked them to do some fillings and I'd come back for another session later. My back left tooth is now in constant pain from the supposed filling- I was told that it would be sore for some time, but it has been months. My benefits were totally drained the first time so I didn't even have the option to return. I thought I was being paranoid and maybe unfair, but then I discussed my experience with others who had gone to River Dental, and they corroborated with very similar stories. I'm sure you can find some within these reviews. Beware! I am finding another dentist.

Just transferred to this Dentist ... a little concerning that they don't listen to the patients. While the main focus is on one tooth due to pain and needs to be extracted, I mentioned about another problem area. I have been here twice so far, and now I am eating lunch as bits of tooth continue to break off from the second concern I had. Dentist told me that I was there for the first concern, and I would need to book another appointment for the other concern.

I’m not going to lie, I was a bit nervous at first ONLY because my dentist had retired (Dr.Sylvester) and I would be seeing a new dentist. Dentist appointments are by far my least favourite type of appointment and my experience was great! They ensured I was comfortable; the staff were very welcoming as well as the office! In which just got a huge renovation with all new equipment; over all the office is very clean and quite comfortable.

Been going here for many years! The last three times I’ve been here I haven’t been happy! I find they forget steps in the cleaning process. Ever since COVID began they skip most the steps and just scale your teeth, no polishing, no fluoride treatments etc. I’ve given them 3 chances and have expressed my concerns to them but there hasn’t been any change. My parents & I have finally decided to change offices and try somewhere that doesn’t leave our teeth feeling like nothing has been done to them!

The staff at River dental were very friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to get an appointment in reasonable time (I work shift work, so I have a bit more flexibility and don’t require an evening or weekend appointment). Sherry the hygienist was great, she explained everything as she went, and Amit the Dentist was great too. Thanks to Tawnya for suggesting I go there. The office was very clean and professionally set up, and their Covid protocol set-up was very appropriately done. They are more then prepared to navigate everyone thru this crazy process and make sure your dental needs are being met while keeping patients and staff safe.

My husband and children were treated yesterday. My husband had a new patient exam and cleaning. He stated he has never had such a thorough exam, and that he was impressed by how much time Dr Chaudhry spent with him. Hannah the hygienist was fantastic. The questions and concerns I initially had with the new office procedures were handled promptly and professionally. Two of my children had wisdom teeth extractions done right in the office which both went very well and were simple to organize. The office is well equipped with exceptional staff and dentists. I had 2 root canals that were painless thanks to Dr Amit Chaudhry. I also had extensive restorative work done changing out my mercury fillings. Thanks to TL and Morgan for fantastic work doing some spectacular cosmetic repairs on some of my teeth ( big hugs).
