I have never been bothered by going to the dentist, but Dr. Bukhari and Jess made it actually fun! I don’t know how they do it, but they do. I had a lot of work that needed to be done on my teeth and they went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule. I’m so appreciative of everything they did for me. Great place! Staff is fun and will make you feel comfortable. Very professional and clean. I am usually terrified of the dentist, but I needed my teeth checked and fixed very badly. For someone who had to be put to sleep prior for something as small as cavities, I was able to go in and get a root canal & cavities done with just freezing. Highly recommend! Don’t hesitate, get your teeth fixed! You will love this place.

I went there without problem, i just asked for a clean up, i ended paying over $1000. the supposed found thing that 6 moths before other dentist did not find, also they changed a filling on my back teeth because it was the old fashion black colour but the new they put it came out after 3 moths, lucky me that i was in Cuba and dentist there are way cheaper that the one in Port Dover. OPEN YOUR EYES WHEN YOU GO TO THIS CLINIC, ASK THEM TO INFORME YOU WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO BEFORE THE PROCESS. i repeat i went without problem i went just for a normal clean out and i ended paying over $1000 plus couple of $100 in Cuba.

Well to be honest. Port Dover Family Dentistry was a very good choice for me. After moving back to Dover , i wanted a local dentist to take care of my teeth. So I went to the place mentioned above. Now I want to say most greetings at a dentist office are always cordial and friendly. But let's get down to business here the doctor that runs the place really knows what he is doing, i had a lot of work done on my teeth and we had a in depth conversation on how he was going to proceed and told me it would take four visits. And i could've been more satisfied. You've done a good job Dr and keep up with the excellent work.

It was my first visit to this office as i was visiting ontario. My tooth started hurting and i called the office and they accommodated me on the same day ( really impressed ) :) The doctor was knowledgeable he explained the whole procedure and answered my all queries .The staff was very welcoming and helpful too .Overall i had a good experience from the time i first called till the end of my procedure and i wd definitely recommend it to others.

They are all very nice here. I have had a cleaning on my teeth which was great. I have also had a root canal. I will not lie, the root canal hurt after the freezing came out, but while it was being done, there was no pain. They were always concerned about me, asking me if I was okay. Which was great!! As for the root canal only a few days of pain because their were 2 roots and they were very very long. All in all great job!!!

Worst dental experience. The dentist was very unprofessional, can not communicate, asked what procedure he's about to do to treat my cavity; Syed Bukhari talks very fast could not understand him, dismissive. Arrogant and later found out he over billed my insurance. Also, how could you trust this office when the receptionist asked her boyfriend to write a review tho he's never seen by any these two south asian dentists because they got a negative review?. I'm going back to my old dentist. Can not recommend.

I decided to call and make an appointment. I let them know about my fears and they did everything they could to help me to get over it. The office was warm and inviting. The staff were amazing at each of their jobs. They made me feel welcome and safe. I had to have a lot of work done and that required numerous appointments. Each time Dr. Syed Bukhara made it easy for me to have the work completed. He always made sure that I understood what was happening and that I was comfortable and at ease. My husband and I considered, in depth, as to whether we should find a dentist in Port Dover or continue traveling to Hamilton and stay with our current dentist. We dropped into the Port Dover Family Dentist office one day and felt very comfortable with the office personal and Dr. Bukhari. Both of us made an appointment and we are both very pleased and happy that we made the decision to be part of this great clinic. I just had to have a molar taken out and normally I would have been very anxious having this procedure done. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Bukhari and trusted him completely. He gave me freezing and I hardly felt it. When he pulled my tooth, it was out and I didn't even realize it was out until he told me "all done". My husband had a bad experience with a dentist and it was somewhat difficult to get him going again. He is very happy with the procedures he has had done, cleaning, filling and checkup. He trust Dr Bukhari and the staff at the clinic and has no problem going to see the dentist anymore I recommend this clinic to everyone and I am positive your e experience will be as great as my husband's and myself.

After a 2.5 hour, difficult root canal it's probably odd to write a positive review... but I am. I made an appt here on the recommendation of a family member. I’m not the most comfortable person while at a dentist office, but I have to say, I was made more than comfortable here. Starting with the receptionist, I was made welcome at this office. All my statements were thoroughly explained by her at the end of every appt and making follow up appts was efficient. I ended up having more work done than originally planned, but that was because I was so pleased and wanted to continue. All procedures were explained simply and the work was quicker than I dreaded. It is an extremely clean office, and all the staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Bhukari always asked if I was pleased and gave me time for any questions. There may not be many people that will notice a change in my smile, but I am super pleased with my results and that’s all that counts!

I recently visited Port Dover Family Dentistry after a number of years since my last dental visit. Danielle at reception was immediately welcoming and able to schedule me in for a visit within the week. These guys really know what they are doing - Erin did an amazing and patient job cleaning and polishing my teeth which needed alot of work - and Dr. Bukhari was clear and detailed with his explanation of the work that needs to be done - so I could ask all my questions and have input on priorities and timing of the work. One filling and a tricky extraction took less than an hour and was truly almost painless. They checked with me regularly to make sure I was feeling ok during the procedures. They made a hard day for me so much easier than I expected. This team is so efficient and so professional - but on top of it all, they have a great sense of humour and caring.

From as long as I can remember I’ve never enjoyed visiting the dentist. I’m now 48yrs old and recently joined the family at Port Dover Family dentistry. I must say that I’ve been very impressed with the entire staff and business. Everyone is amazing. They communicate very well in any manner you prefer (they text me all the time). They fit me in with very short notice and although it shames me to say how much dental work I’ve had done, I’m proud to say I’ve never felt uncomfortable once during the many visits. My last visit I even fell asleep a couple of times while getting some cavities filled. I’ve just made an appointment for my daughter there also. I’m so happy to have found these wonderful folks and they make the 9hr return trip (yes I said that) worth it.

Checked out this new dental office in my hood and I had the worst experience. This dentist Syed Bukhari can not communicate very well, he did the cavity of my lower tooth, his hand was heavy I thought my jaw was going to break. My tooth felt worst than before I saw this dentist.I tried to tell him to be gentle and he ignored or he did not understand english, very arrogant and he was in a hurry. I called and complained and the receptionist said he does not answer any questions. Very unprofessional dentist. I checked out his credentials (Royal Canadian Dental Association) he graduated in 2015! it says on their website 15 years of experience and He's from India, and they should include that in their website nothing wrong where you came from, at least people know what to expect communication/language wise. Reviews of this dentist online are negative. I do not recommend going to this dental office. The positive reviews posted are from the receptionist Michelle and the dental assistant! go figure. Port Dover community avoid this dental office.

Today my husband had a dentist appointment with Dr. Syed Bukhari at Port Dover Family Dentistry and was very nervous and not feeling good about having to go knowing today was the day of the start of his set out plan to have teeth pulled to get ready for (dentures). He had canceled his appointments with another office because of how they were handling his situation and how they spoke to him when he tried to address his concerns. When he first met with Dr. Syed and his very friendly staff my husband felt a whole different vibe and was treated with more care and compassion when addressing his problems. So today were in the office and the Dr. had him open his mouth a couple time checking and looking then my husband feels a bit numb in a minute and he says hey did u give me a needle and yes he had and my husband never even felt a thing. Best of all was 5 teeth were out in less then 5 minutes with NO PAIN or problems. My husband was giving the thumbs up while getting his teeth pulled. What an unexpected turn around for how he feels now and is excited to get on with the rest of his appointments on his way to a healthier beautiful smile. You will be very happy with this dental office due to the Dr. and staff making u feel so comfortable (and of course the nice dental work). Scheduled annual check up was performed last week with cleaning and exam professionally done. Additional time was required as a few cavities needed to be corrected especially one that in the past few years wasn't able to be frozen and I faced either a root canal or extraction of the tooth. Discussing the situation with Syed Bukhari he insured me that he felt positive about his ability to fix the tooth without causing me any pain. Today I had a chipped tooth smoothed out perfectly and my cavities drilled,filled and done with exceptional care. I must admit I was anxious about the procedure on this one tooth but Syed communicated so well I was at total ease. I was very anxious and it must have showed, as from down the hall, Dr Syed Bukhari spotted me and without ever meeting me before, sat with me and put me right at ease. I walked through the doors 5 days ago as a new patient... stepping through the doors was a big step for me as i have never had a good experience in the past at the dentist i was beyond petrified. The staff there were SO welcoming and kind it was incredible..Danyelle at the front desk made my visit personable and easy.. i had tears of fear at the start and left with tears of joy. Dr Bukhari had me laughing and cracking jokes and made me feel comfortable and clam.. he talked to me on my level and was very accommodating.. we made a plan and i can’t wait to watch my journey unfold as he said “i’m going to change your life”!! His assistant jess was amazing and cheered me on every step of the way! I had a cleaning later on in the day with Erin where i didn’t feel one once of pain or discomfort i was speechless! I want to thank EVERYONE from this team who literally stood in door ways to check on me and cheer me on! I can’t believe i’m going to say this but i enjoyed my time at the dentist today and am looking forward to going back! 100% recommend this team! Today i went to have 2 teeth pulled and i was in and out in a matter of 20 minutes... i was nervous again as it was a first for me.. they talked to me joked and made it again not the worst experience!! i am shocked to stay that i am getting a little more will power each time!! thank you guys for being patient with me and helping me build confidence again!

Dr. Bukhari is great. I highly recommend his services to anyone who has let their dental care lapse. He is incredibly efficient and effective. let him know you're not afraid of a little pain if you don't want to get your lower jaw completely frozen off. and remember, when getting that freezing, relax, it's gonna hurt a lot worse if you tense up.

He overcharge and create phony treatment codes. Check your insurance. First they go over your coverage without your knowledge- then they proceed with procedures for maximum bill per visit. This dentist Syed Bukhari is greedy. He is not what he claims on their website. BEWARE. The office staffs know and they follow what he says. It has been reported to Royal Canadian Dentist . Port Dover people investigate first before changing your dentist to this one. Check his records at rcdso , he's been practicing in Canada for only 3 years!. Not 15 years!. This guy lies. He graduated in India 1988!. Definitely not seeing this Bukhari dentist again.

I was very anxious about my first visit since it had been over three years since my last cleaning. Fiona, the hygenist, was understanding and efficient and kept me distracted with her pleasant conversation so my dreaded cleaning was most tolerable:) Dr.Syed Bukhari was amazing! I almost did not feel the needles for freezing. While he was working on my 5 cavities I never felt any pain or discomfort at all! This was a first, as my previous dentists in other cities, even though the freezing was done, I always experienced one or more moments where it felt like a nerve was exposed and I wanted to jump out of the chair!
