I was nervous to come back to the dentist post - COVID shutdowns, but the team at Birchmount Dental Group had a high degree of protocols which made it feel safe, from temperature scans and a COVID-questionnaire upon arrival, limited contact with people within the office, and very sanitary conditions during the visit. Dr. Rouah really knows his stuff. I needed some laser gum contouring and was really antsy about having lasers near my gums. Just the thought of it made me feel kind of sick. He sat with me and explained exactly how it would be done. Knowing how experienced he is and seeing how compassionate he was about my fear made it easier to go through with the treatment. All I needed was local anesthetic, which made me even more comfortable with going forward. There wasn’t much bleeding at all and I recovered pretty quickly. I’m really happy with the results. I finally feel comfortable smiling around people I’ve known for years. It’s nice not to hide my laughs.

I needed a cracked tooth pulled and my coworker recommended Birchmount Dental Group. She’d seen a couple of different dentists there and said they were all great. I have to agree. Dr. Rouah recommended that I keep the tooth but have a crown put on it to protect the tooth. I am more than happy to keep my teeth in my mouth so I agreed. It took just 2 visits. They cleaned the tooth the first visit and then made an impression of the tooth so they could create the crown. I had a temporary crown put on until the second visit. A couple of weeks later, I went back and had my crown put on. It was a perfect fit. I’m still getting used to seeing my new smile in the mirror but I am so glad I went to Birchmount Dental. They offered me options I didn’t even know existed instead of just yanking my tooth out. Thank you!

Anyone with a phobia of the dentist should go here! I have had a phobia of the dentist and let my teeth get really bad over a long period of time, which came with a lot of shame and pain. I had to do some research to make sure I knew who I could trust to make me comfortable and fix the problems this had caused me before finding Birchmount. All of the staff here were so welcoming, attentive, and friendly that I was able to follow through with the procedure I needed in order to have my teeth fixed, and I will definitely be returning. Thanks to them, I am able to eat and drink without any pain and it's made me a happier person.

I went to this clinic for the first time and i am impressed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Catherine was my hygienist and she was good and friendly. I went to Dr. Jacob and his assistant Sreelal for cavities. I didn't feel any pain during the whole process. Dr. Jacob is an expert in his work so does Sreelal. I have a fantastic experience and definitely recommend this clinic.

Went in for an assessment today; they responded to my online form submission very quickly. Called me about an hour later and said they had time to do an exam as a be patient. When I arrived, I was greeted in a very cheerful manner. I filled out my medical information on a computer as they are paper free, which is amazing. Waited for just a few minutes before the Frieda, the very lovely “assistant” (don’t know the actual role, perhaps hygienist?), showed me to be room and started with some X-rays and photos. I must point out that Frieda was extremely professional, courteous and great to chat with. Very through and succinct without any rambling. After the exam I had one filling done by Dr.Eric and Frieda assisting. My tooth broke off yesterday (about 1/4 of the tooth) and they managed to 1) do it quickly, 2) cause literally ZERO discomfort / pain, 3) do an AMAZING job. Dr.Eric has incredible skill and dexterity, as well as being very approachable. I already have a cleaning booked for this Friday and will from now on get all my dental work from Birchmont Dental Group and will advise others to do so as well. Amazing staff, incredibly skilled, beautiful decor, and the work done is literally the best I have ever seen or experienced.

A clinic who donot value their customers, people work with a lot of pride on their nose and only want patients who have a lot of money to visit them. Commoners have no space in the clinic. You will waste a lot of time in between all their assessment machines giving you a feel that you have a very big program and then are handed over a hefty bill. I would expect that the team first speaks to the patient first understands the patients background , shows compassion towards his or hers problems before pushing the patient into some treatment. Extremely annoying experience , pls donot visit this place there are better options outside. Also negative experiences are not considered seriously because they feel they are the best, so no one gets back to you for an explanation.

Dr. Eric Rouah has been my dentist for well over a decade. Just got a text from him today (Saturday) checking up on me as I had a tooth implant done. I have been to many dentists in my life prior to this, he is the only one I truly trust and the proof is in the excellent care I have received and most stability I have had with my oral health despite not getting any younger;) There is a reason I trust him and those he works with (specialists he refers me to when needed) as they are top of the food chain in their respective areas. Despite his experience he seemingly never stops adding to his credentials and is a committed life learner in his field, this says allot about his commitment to his craft and his patients and gives me an abundance of confidence and comfort knowing I am getting the best possible care. Not everything can go smoothly or perfectly but I always feel my odds for a positive outcome in any scenario is better here than anywhere else. I feel that I am paying a small premium compared with the large difference in ability, skill and experience. Staff and administration there works hard to ensure they respond and work with me whenever I need anything as well, appreciate all of you. Have a Dentist for life, one important thing crossed off the list.

I can't say enough great things about this clinic! I needed a root canal and was extremely anxious beforehand. Dr. Rouah could not have been more gentle and caring. On a scale if 0-10 my pain was 0. I felt nothing being frozen up or during the procedure. His hygienist Freida was incredible at putting me at ease as well. I just laid back, watched the TV on the ceiling and found it very relaxing. It was a long procedure but he gave me plenty of breaks to relax my jaw when he stepped out to tend to another patient. This was my first visit here and i will now not go anywhere else! Kris and the rest of all the staff are friendly and very helpful. The price was the lowest i could find as well! If you are anxious about going to the dentist...give Dr. Rouah a try! Im thouroughly impressed. Apr. 16/19-another great appointment. New hygienist who was excellent at cleaning my teeth....very helpful in regards to info on getting my gums to optimal health again. I live nowhere near this place but soooo worth the trip. Will never go to another dentist!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with my dental surgery under sedation. It was absolutely painless and I am very happy with the results. Doctor Rouah did incredible work all in one day. Dr. Ing the anesthesiologist was outstanding as well. I highly recommend sedation treatment to anyone who needs extensive dental work.

I called them to tell them my face was swollen and in pain and they told me to wait until "Tuesday" which was 6 days later, the only day Dr Rouah is in the office. Poor serivce, they don't care! Dr Rouah uses cell phone while you're in the chair, doesn't wash hands, then reaches inside your mouth. When confronted, he says, "but my phone camera is higher quality than the in-house dental camera." So, not only does the dentist deny unsanitary behaviour when caught the act, "Dr." actually defends cell phone use as the better method than their, obviously, outdated dental imaging equipment. Red flag? Pandemic? Therefore, Dr. Rouh is dismissive and inattentive, and pompous attitude. Totally unprofessional. He thinks he's Jason Bourne, The all mighty righteous Rouah doesn't make mistakes. Will lie to you to save his own skin, will never admit any mistake. Will deny this review, like he denies everything with his 'perfect' pompous attitude. Tried to fix my crown without investigating if there was a problem with the root. Crown didn't last 2 months without acting up into infection. Neglected due diligence. To deflect me, says, "Go talk to the operations manager". Ok. did that. Operations manager Christine does not care about the patient as a human being. Dogs get better treatment at the vet, acted like she was lawyer Eddy Greenspan. To absolve themselves of any responsibility, They'll pass you around the office like a hockey puck to give themselves time to corroborate each other's stories and lies, until you're so confused you can't think. Her goal as 'operations manager' is to ensure that THEIR operations continue to operate operationally for their benefit, and to absolve the staff of any responsibility. You, as a patient or as a person, or the trauma in your mouth, are NOT of genuine concern. Part time dental staff means your dentist is only available 2 days a week, so if something goes wrong, (which it did for me) they'll send in a new trainee (who also uses her cellphone instead of knowledge to determine your issue) to brush you off and tell you to "Go to the EMERGENCY ROOM if it gets worse"....well, I'm here...now? Dr. Hudi used me as a training manikin, and had to take a pic of me with her 'smart' phone to send to Dr Rouah to get his (remotely, screen viewed) opinion and prescription. Useless! She can't even recognize a gum infection...is she even trained? She never explained anything to me, just trivialized my situation, "you haven't lost a limb" she said. Disgrace! A shipwreck horror of "care." Front desk staff can't do a good job when the manager doesn't even have a dentist available for scheduling. I feel bad for them because Stephanie and Vanessa are actually kind persons. One star is a generous rating for Birchmount-Dental-Part-time-absent-dentist-'Group'....and they wonder why I was rude towards them. Dose of you own medicine, folks. DO NOT GO HERE. "Do you have coverage?" was asked, and my level of care plummeted when my answer was "No." Don't believe anything Dr. Rouah says in response to this, he's covering his own skin like he has a habit of doing. Is this the kind of dentist you want caring for you or your family? Rouah is more of a salesman than a dentist. Insisted on scanning my mouth for night-guard while I had pain in my face, and doubled-down on his correctness after the implement bumped my sore gums, he just had to make a sale while I was 'occupying HIS chair time.' I came here for ME, not YOU. Front desk thinks they can apologize on behalf of the dentist and lousy, dismissive management, well, I reject that. You'll never hear Mr Pass-the-Buck Rouah apologize, hence, he would be admitting he wasn't perfect. It'll never happen. He can't even measure the length of a tooth properly. He'd rather pass the buck and cowardly send you a letter of dismissal before you recover from the next dental surgeon he sent me to. You guys all need to stop using 'smart'phones as your primary dental appliance. -->. Toxic dismissiveness. --> "You" blame instead of take responsibility.

Honestly, as far as dentist apointments go, this was a wonderful experience. I was terrified for my root canal, as I have heard horror stories. I literally felt nothing! Everyone is so pleasant and nurturing from when you first walk in the door to the moment you leave! My dentist even called me today, just to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. Dr. Rouah, at Birchmount Dental was fantastic and I was very impressed with his chair side manner along with the quality and speed of his work. For the first time ever, I had fillings done and didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. He even numbed my gums with oral gel before administering the freezing. Lastly, he offered to refit my night guard for free, just in case the shape of my teeth changed due to my new fillings. Dr rouah provided me with the most phenomenal experience. I had a dental emergency around Christmas and with a jam packed schedule (and me being a new patient) he took me in - and my issue was fixed within a week! I went to dr rouah because I heard he was an amazing dentist and he didn't disappoint. I had a crown for two years that ended up falling out while I was eating chewy candy, and I didn't even know that my previous dentist installed a metal based crown until I saw it in my hand! when I saw dr rouah he showed me before he inserted the crown that it wasn't metal and I could tell that it was of the highest quality. Thank you again dr rouah for the amazing experience. I will definitely be returning for any future dental needs!

My wife had an appointment today & they couldn't even finish a cleaning in the allocated time. I was billed for 3.5 units of scaling, which was $195.00. They suggested making another appointment to finish up the cleaning & quoted another $300.00. Therefore the grand total of the cleaning would be $495.00. I work very hard for my benefits . It's to bad this dentist takes advantage of that . SHAME

They will present the situation that they can handle the best, actually they don't :( Wanted contact of he owner or meet operation manager, they never allowed me to do so. He helps him feel relaxed regardless of the procedure and has a gentle, reassuring way with all his patients. Recently, Dr. Rouah recommended "Invisilign" which has worked AMAZINGLY well. My man's teeth are significantly straighter and more aligned. Yesterday I had to undergo a fairly serious dental procedure, and coming from someone who is terrified of needles and going under anaesthesia, I was pretty nervous coming in to the clinic. The team at Birchmount Dental did a great job at making me feel extremely comfortable and at ease. I was astounded with the expertise of Dr. Rouah whom was able to completely transform my teeth. With the complexity of the work that needed to be done, both Dr. Rouah and his team were amazing and offered some of the best dental work in the city in my opinion!

Dr. Rouah, was called on at Birchmount Dental to take a look at my upper molar which was aching and throbbing periodically. After X Ray and examining he was inconclusive on the tooth. He recommended paying for a 3D to get clarity. It worked and showed a fracture. He did excellent work to get the tooth and roots out.
