Impressive! I got a toothache during the worse time, but Dr. Chong was able to prescribe some antibiotics that helped me tremendously. With Covid-19 looming, the staff at Phi Dental Care made an appointment for me to have my root canal as soon as they're able to reopen.

Thoroughly impressed by the ENTIRE staff and office itself. From the front desk staff, to the dental assistants, hygienists, and doctors I had a great experience all around. First and foremost, I was nervous about doing dental procedures due to COVID, however, they take that seriously and completely revamped and installed a high tech filtration system and now have surgically clean air. Also, the space itself is meticulously clean. Claudia, one of the dental assistants, went above and beyond making me comfortable during both my exam and a procedure I had to have done. She even made a list of activities for me around Algoma since I'm new to the region. Dr. Lee is fantastic and was just so kind and explained everything about my exam and procedures and even taught me some new things I hadn't learned before about my teeth and mouth health. Courtney was the hygienist I saw and she was marvelous! Answered all my questions and made my teeth look and feel amazing! Also, all of them had really great mouth etiquette, meaning I felt no pain and also no anxiety, which is great when looking back at previous experiences at other clinics. Definitely will be a repeat client. Thank you all so much!

I would highly recommend Dr. Chong and Dr. Bell at PHI dental..It's a very professionally run business and most notably from the moment you enter the business their customer care is top notch. As a patient that has had traumatic experiences in the past at other places they were very understanding and supportive. All I can say is that everyone at Phi Dental are AMAZING!!!! Dr.Chong is phenomenal, he actually cares about the patients. He just treated my 6 year old son and it was his first time ever having freezing and not ONE tear- he was laughing while he had the needle in his mouth!! I think I was more nervous than he was. Dr.Chong explained the whole procedure to me and my son and gave us awesome follow up care. The office is impeccably maintained, so clean, organized and they are on time. I've never had to wait!!!! Yesterday, at a last minute decision, I had four wisdom teeth removed. One of which was impacted, and the others with complicated root systems. I have high dental anxiety, so I was very nervous to do this while I was concious, however, I did not even feel the needles during freezing and Dr. Chong used a brand new, state of the art, machine that traces around the teeth so they just slide out. It made the removal extremely quick and easy. I woke up this morning with absolutely no pain. 0 out of 10 on a pain scale. I’m so relieved to have this procedure done by Dr. Chong who is an extremely caring dentist. He kept checking on me and made sure I was comfortable the entire time through the procedure. 5 star! :)

They said no with an excuse saying they might not have the equipment required for my braces without even looking on my braces. Dr. Lawrence Chong took 35 minutes to thoroughly explain the entire process of cavity filling along with the tools needed. The actual filling took all of 5 min. Although Dental Care can be very expensive, Dr. Chong does offer a Senior Discount and allows you a period of time to pay for expensive procedures, which is very accommodating for us Seniors on Fixed Incomes. I was travelling to Sault Ste Marie for business, and broke a tooth while on the plane getting there (not a good way to start a trip), I was referred to PHI by the Hotel (Quattro). Very professional and organized from the start Over the phone and in person Facility was clean and beautiful up to my standards and staff were amazing and nice to see a diverse team They were also life savers by fitting me in last minute for my wisdom teeth extraction I drove from Toronto to phi specifically for this procedure, Toronto waiting list was 1-2 months out Overall The procedure went a lot better then I anticipated I was very nervous but whatever they gave me sure did the job, relaxed and knocked me out I have no recall/memory 6-7 hours after procedure but felt great relaxed and well slept was in and out of sleep the whole day after coming back and of course jaws was swollen but other than that I wouldn’t mind revisiting them/using them as my regular dentist with a nice litttle vacation

Dr Chong is an extremely talented and amazing dentist!! He is top notch, brilliant, very personable and a tooth genius! All of my life I have lived with a gap in my front teeth. Dr Chong did an amazing job of putting crowns on my teeth in such a way as to remove the gap and improve my other front teeth by 1000%!!! It looks and feels so natural and wonderful - it’s like that’s the way my teeth were always meant to be! Until now, after living many years with that gap, I don’t think I really realized how much it really did truly bother me as I now find myself smiling all of the time (I didn’t as much before). A beautiful smile is such a wonderful gift to receive & to give to others in turn! My infant daughter was having trouble breastfeeding, so I decided to see Dr Chong who identified a lip tie and a tongue tie, which was likely contributing to difficulties with breastfeeding. The procedure to release the restrictions was very quick. I was able to hold my daughter the entire time and breastfed immediately afterwards. Dr Chong is very knowledgeable and professional. He made me feel comfortable and took the time to answer all of my questions. He also took the time to educate me on these conditions and how they may impact my baby’s speech and dental health later on in life. Phi Dental is a great choice for orthodontic care. My daughter needed a tooth brought down from her palate and the only option we were given by the orthodontist in town was 2 years full braces. We thought that was our only choice until we heard from a friend about Phi Dental. Dr. Chung was fantastic right from the start. We were given many options for my self-conscious teenage daughter and son which included invisible trays, brackets, and partial braces. Dr. Chung and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and they even gave us some free visits without adding to the price. Dr. Chung was also more affordable than the orthodontist by far.
