I recently had to call into Family Dentistry on a Monday morning regarding what I deemed a dental emergency, as I was in lots of pain and eating was very difficult. I was told that I could see Dr Cavanagh right away. When I was examined it was determined I needed a root canal that day. I was a little worried to hear this because root canals have always been synonymous to me with torture, as that is typically what you hear. I don't often leave reviews like this but the procedure was handled so well and so quickly I just had to say something. I was eating normally again only a few hours after the procedure and by the next day I felt good as new. I was so happy to have the pain in my tooth taken away and was so impressed with the ease of treatment that I wanted to give everyone in the office a big hug. Everyone at Family Dentistry on Bay is a real pro!

I had my first dentist appointment today with Dr. Melissa O'Toole and her lovely dental assistant Chelsey. After being out of the country for almost 10 years and having only had sub-par dental work done in the third world... I was long over due. I've honestly never left a google review before but I was so blown away with the patience and kindness of Dr. O'Toole. She took into consideration the fact that I didn't have dental insurance and made me a treatment plan that was affordable as possible. I would highly recommend her to anyone but would especially suggest her if you're someone who gets anxious at the dentist because Dr. O'Toole is exceptionally calming and gentle.

I was referred to this Practice through dental emerge, and the dentist I had gotten was absolutely fantastic. She said she couldn't pull my tooth, and proceeded to find someone that would be able to safely do so and booked me a few days out. I cannot tell you how much relief the wonderful people in this office have given me. When I came to them, I had two heavily abscessed teeth that weren't responding to any antibiotic my doc would throw at it. Now that the two teeth are gone, the infection is too. The extraction was done with care, and I healed quickly from it in a few hours. Now, I don't have to live my life on Antibiotics any more. They've practically given me my life back. Thank you, Family Dentistry on Bay! If you're lucky enough to acquire the services of ANY of the dentists in this building, don't hesitate. They will treat you right.

went to emergency with severe tooth pain, Dr. Cavanagh came down to emerg on a weekend during covid-19 to assess my tooth and apply a nerve block allowing me to get control of the pain for the rest of the weekend. a great dentist

Appointment scheduling is difficult with this clinic. Staff rudely talk back and refuse to work with the client.

Such a great office. Our family sees two different dentists here and they are wonderful. The staff are nice and also helpful with our insurance plans.

Dr. Turgeon is a fantastic dentist. Very professional an polite. I decided to give a 1 start because of customer service. I understand there are policies regarding appointments. If I make a mistake canceling late an appointment, I always accept the responsibility. Unfortunately the lack of customer service and rude conduct of office staff is extremely unprofessional. This time I called the office in a polite manner to apologize because my kids wouldn't be able to attend their app same day. I accepted my mistake and clarify, I understood I have to pay a fee for missing their appointment. The secretary basically asked me in a rude way : " why are you canceling right now!! We need 48 hrs notice and I left a message yesterday, so are coming?? " I was impressed for her conduct. So I just answered yes, she hung up my phone call. Then I was very disappointed how I was treated. Therefore decided to call again requesting in a polite manner been removed from their system because I felt I was treated very rude. She said ok good, you will be! And she hang up again. I was shocked again. My believe either she decided to be rude with me because of my foreing accent or because she decided to be mean with any customer. I really love Dr. Turgeon my decision wasn't because of the dentist service but the secretary customer service, besides is not the first time I was treated this way. My apologies , I don't write reviews frequently, this time I felt it is the right thing to do.

Love this office. Very sincere and fair. No upselling or gimmicks. It's funny but I often go over to the bushplane while my kids are getting their teeth cleaned. Great location
