My kids have Never been scared of going to the dentist, and this includes me and my husband. We Both dont like going but the Team at Northend dental. I had a crown break on me on a Saturday and I went in for a assessment on the following Tuesday, they were booked heavily for the next 6 weeks, but they attempted to move patients to get me back in the same day to get me a temporary crown. When they were unable to convince patients to move their appointments Dr. Stark said he will stay late and said I could come in at the end of the day. I'm very impressed with the service and urgency to get my tooth repaired.

So pleased with their amazing work again!! I had a black spot on my tooth from a laser filling. They got me in right away and fixed it within 10 minutes! Plus no charge because I had the filling done there before. The staff are so nice and professional. I'm so pleased with them ????

I needed to have work done to replace a bridge that had become unbonded after 15 years. This is quite a major undertaking and I was very nervous about the whole procedure. Dr. Morrow communicated the options and was very reassuring during the whole procedure. I can say that the entire procedure was executed as planned and was basically painless. I highly recommend this dentist.

I have been going to this clinic for 13 years. I finally found another place because apparently my time is not valuable. I ensure that I am on time for appointments for cleaning and often have waited over 30 minutes - 45 minutes for my turn. They have never said to me - I'm sorry we are running late when I have checked in. Sometimes when they come to get me I might get "thanks for waiting" but that is it! This doesn't make sense to me as I've often been told by the hygiene tech I would have to come back for additional cleaning because they only booked me for "x" amount of time. I have found another clinic and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. The work they do it fine - but they have gotten TOO big to care about customer service.

During my annual checkup Dr Stark indicated I had 2 teeth with crowns that showed some areas of concern. When the work was started the issues were much more serious than anticipated, resulting in the need for a root canal on one tooth. Today that work was completed. Both the initial appt & the one today done by Dr Stark and Dr Rieben were amazing. I’ve had lots of work done on my teeth and these Drs were the best I’ve ever had. Having just moved to Saskatoon, I couldn’t be happier I found this dental office.

BEST. DENTIST. EVER. That's the only way to describe Dr. Stark. He explains everything so well each step of the way, is compassionate, and is definitely the most gentle dentist I have ever been to. He has all the latest equipment, and has a wonderful staff.....such a good vibe all throughout the office. Erin, the hygienist that cleaned my teeth, is also wonderful- certainly the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. I have very high expectations when it comes to dental care, and Dr. Stark has exceded those expectations in every way.

my husband had a filling 2 months ago with this clinic...now his teeth is still aching. he thought it will go away on its own..but today it got worst.it became so sensitive.so he went back.and guest what?!they Xray it again and charge him $78.00! and they advised him that the teeth needs to be pull out because its a "dead teeth" and he needs to pay for the extraction again? Really?i mean he was charged for the filling,and they did an Xray even before they fill it..so how come they dont know that that tooth is actually dead and needs to be pull out?why would you even suggest a filling on the first place?! I felt we were being rob!this is ridiculous?!

Great experience! Dr. Stark is very, very particular, which is what you want in a dentist! He even rebuilt my temp bridge himself because it wasn't exactly how he liked it. Loved the service, the chat, etc. He took the time and went through everything with me. I'm a nervous dental user. I've had lots of work done in the past, but I think this is the best I've had!! Right on North End Dental!

Yesterday I went in and got composite veneers. I had got the cosmetic surgery once prior in 2008 but, not at Northend Dental. The 2008 experience at a separate office was very traumatic and the initial reason behind switching over to Northend Dental. The exceptional and consistent care provided, from day one, has been my #1 reason on continuing to seek them out for my dental needs. Dr. Curtis Stark not only shows patience with the process in his work but, he remains very detail oriented in his mastered skill. His technician(s) are always quite comforting and have proved they can provide a sense of ease to the entire experience. My teeth have always been my biggest insecurity and dentist visits have always been somewhat of a struggle, for that reason. Northend Dental has been game changing for me. I am so very grateful for the time and support they provide. I would, without a doubt, highly recommend Northend Dental. The front staff are always friendly, the office offers direct billing, consultations are held in private and service is unworldly. Special Thanks to the office and their employees, for the persistence in offering nothing short of the best care and skill, it has helped me overcome my biggest insecurity and has been a huge contributing factor in feeling confident showing my pearly whites!

I wish Google had option of negative stars for rating. I was with this clinic for few years and I have no intention of going there again. I will start with the most recent experience (can I call it a Horror?). I had my cleaning /hygiene done here during that appointment and I strongly suspect that they overcharged for the cleaning work they did. I can explain this with the receipts and other records. On top of it they took bunch of x-rays after the cleaning which is fine but the so called dentist showed up to review them and I swear to god the review was for less than one minute. She told me I have one cavity, which seem okay, but then she told me there is another cavity filling that needs to be redone. Btw this same clinic had done that cavity filling not long ago, so basically she wanted to dig it out and refill and make me pay for it. Did I mention that I was charged 45 dollars to tell me that they need to fix the screw up with this cavity done by them. Her excuse the cavity filling will catch food and my teeth will rot. I felt so bad paying these people to do a crappy job with my cavity earlier and then telling me that the cavity filling is bad and asking me to fix it again on my own coin. Geez, I felt like someone is telling me, it's raining while they are pissing on me. I am regular with my Dental work for many years and I never had somone there to exhaust my insurance as much as possible and suck my money dry like this. Second incident was with another guy, I have strong words for him but I won't go there. He did cavity filling and he was so rough with it, he actually apologized to me after that work. I never had anything done with him after that. I suspect subsequent problems to my teeth may have because of this careless job. I wish there was a way to for reporting or doing something about it. Any suggestions by a good Dentist reading this are welcome. The other guy at the clinic did brag about how good of service he gets at local restaurent. Geez these are important updates for me to know while lying on that chair trying to get some painful work done on my teeth. This was one big painful work for which I had to shell money. The lesson I learned overall was when doing a major work, always make sure to do own research and take other good Dentist's opinion before spending your hard earned dollars. Sometimes the oil change theory for your car where the shop makes you spend extra on other useless stuff can apply in other area of life. I was treated like just another sheep to fleece. Remember, just because your insurance pays for dental work doesn't mean it's free, You are working hard to be provided that insurance by your employer and no one should be able to exploit anything from you. My entire family has been seeing Dr.Stark for over 23 years and I wish I could give him and his clinic more than 5 stars as the care and attention to my family’s dental care has been beyond excellent. A visit to Northend Dental does make you feel like a special person and the attention you get makes you appreciate first rate care. All visits include thorough assessment and complete explanations. It’s great when he has cameras to show exactly what is happening with my teeth. I must say over the years I have had only a few root canals. Not pleasant to have. My consultation with Dr. Stark was exactly what I had expected and my dental procedure with Dr Rieben was amazing. Bar none the easiest root canal I have ever experienced. It was a long procedure but done correctly. Thank you Dr Rieben for the excellent work!

‼️PLEASE READ. NOVEMBER 25th, 26th, 27th 2020. ‼️There are many pros and cons to this business. I have been going to this dentist all my life, and I’ve had really good dentists in the past that unfortunately don’t work there anymore. I get very anxious when it comes to the dentist and most times you would think they would be comforting and friendly, but unfortunately that is not the case with all of their staff. Yes, there are some very nice people there. But I found that my dentist wasn’t really listening to me or my concerns. The assistants need to pay attention to the procedure they are performing on there clients instead of chatting and looking at someone else instead of the client. There were multiple times I had to wave my hands in the air because she was applying the tools for way too long because she wasn’t paying attention. They were also very abrasive with my mouth (pulling, stretching, ripping, it felt like she was going to rip the side of my mouth open.) There are Certain receptionists that are rude after you just finished getting 5 fillings in your mouth. The receptionist/Greeter really makes a first and last impression on their business, and it was lacklustre. They were rude and snippy when I was just trying to pay my bill. Didn’t even say “thank you for your service.” They charge way more than any other dentist in Saskatoon, even with coverage. They also charge a very high PPE fee due to covid. I would not recommend this dentist if you are someone WITHOUT coverage because it is simply not affordable.

When I was 12, I was hit in the face with a baseball.. so I have had traumatic dental work, until I found this place, I have less anxiety. I did have the gas on one occasion which helped my anxiety a ton! But then next appointment I was not able to get the gas, I was not rushed she took the time to help me calm down and then talked me through the whole appointment and reassured me that I was doing a good job. I am so happy after all these years I have finally found a place that makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. Plus they fixed mistakes that other dental place made.

A few months ago I had veneers done by Dr. Stark and couldn't be happier. The process he takes to creating your smile is top notch including designing the perfect smile for you. The end result is veneers that are natural and ones that you look like you were born with! I was so self self conscious before and now wish I hadn't waited so long to get the procedure done. I came into this office almost 3 years ago with my teeth very unhappy. When I was young I fell pretty hard and damaged my teeth, my front top one was eventually pulled. For most of my adult life i’ve neglected to up keep my teeth after being pretty traumatized from all the work at a younger age (elsewhere). This really hasn’t helped an area that was already damaged. All the staff and doctors here have done an excellent job caring for my needs and bringing my teeth back to a healthy beautiful condition. We take it step by step and i’m always aware of what things will cost me. They’re very thorough, and I love listening to their stories while they work on my teeth. Its a very comfortable place to be. I still have some major work ahead, but i’m no longer embarrassed to smile. Thank you!!!! I wont be going anywhere else.

After being told I would never get the smile I wanted at other dental clinics, Dr. Stark provided me with the smile I dreamed of. He presented me with all options and allowed me to decide which treatment I would like to proceed with. The team at Northend were extremely helpful and very friendly, they are also very organized and happy to answer any questions via email or phone at their earliest convenience. I went there last year. They told me i need filling. I did that procedure and then my tooth was sensitive. They said it might be biting issue. I went there and it was still sensitive. They close the clinic due to covid for few months. I was in pain when they open clinic i went there they said they have to do xray which need another appointment ( after 20-25days). I mean they already had xray , it was biting issue. after filling i have to be in pain for 8months no solution at all. my tooth was not having any problem before filling. Now its been 1year its so sensitive i cant chew from right side at all. Very bad experience.

I've had lots of work done at Northend in the last half year. Just finished the final cement on my crowns done by Dr. C. Stark. I went from having yellow crooked teeth to white, perfect teeth and have never had braces. As someone who is not fond of the dentist office I always feel comfortable and well taken care of by the staff here. Thanks Dr. Stark and everyone else at Northend. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs crowns or general work done.
