As always I had a great visit at Fairview Dentistry. Today was a cleaning with Crystal. What a lovely lady she is ???? . We had some laughs talking about how far florist treatments have come over the year. Thank goodness , as we both agreed we hated the old way with the big mouth trays filled with fluoride goop and a suction hose sucking out our saliva in the middle of our mouth while the rest escaped out the sides ????. It’s always nice when your visit to the dentist office is full of laughs and positive memories . Always is here, they have a great team. Keep up the great work ! See you again soon ????

I am so grateful for everyone here. I have the worst fear of the dentist and hadn't gone since I was a kid. I had horrible teeth, gum infection, basically everything wrong. They have never made me feel bad and only ever tried to help better my oral health and give me a smile I wasn't embarassed by. Today my flipper (partial denture) broke and I was so distraught having something important coming up in less than 3 weeks and needed a new one asap! They got me in last minute and took a new impression and got it off to the lab and will have it ready for me in about a week. I'm so thankful!!! Kudos to them for being professional and also empathetic towards their patients who need a little extra care. ❤️

This review does not include the reception staff or dental hygienist as they are lovely this is just about The dentist here as they have no empathy and I left there in tears and switched dentists. I genetically have bad teeth and they told me genetics have nothing to do with teeth and that I just don't know how to care for my teeth despite my medical history. They charge you when they literally do nothing, I scheduled an appointment for a filling fix after a check up and I went in for my appointment and they said it was just a consultation and they were not fixing it even though they said that's what I was scheduled for and I even called to double check. that appointment was my last there as they charged me over $100 doing nothing and made me cry with their rude, judgy comments. Unless you have perfect teeth with no issues I do not recommend going here.

The worst dentist clinic I've ever been to. The receptionist was extremely Rude and Racist and they treat their patients like a dirt. In regard to the Dentist Eva Boyar she is very pushy and very impolite Also she thinks she is Better from other people, no one wants to go to the dentist, but when you're there, you'd expect a kind professional and not the unfriendly, condescending and cold dentist that is Dr. Boyar I don't recommend this Clinic to anyone.

First off, let me begin by saying I NEVER write yelp reviews -- but after my experience with Dr. Stan, I felt it was the only right thing to do seeing as he has changed my outlook on dentists all together. Dr. Stan is the BEST dentist in St. Thomas. -- not just for people who are VERY fearful of getting dental work done like myself, but also because he is a grade A professional at his craft. I Went into his office and was greeted by a very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. He knew I had a bad fear so he talked me through the whole thing and made me laugh quite a bit to lighten the mood.. I originally planned to just get my teeth cleaned to appease my girlfriend and just ignore all the other dental work that needed to be done, but because I had such an excellent experience with him I plan to go back and get all the necessary work finished (which is a lot mind you, 2 cavities and a broken tooth) -- not to mention, I don't have dental insurance ... but at the end of the day you gotta pay for quality, and that is what Dr. Stan exudes. I look forward to my next appointment!

Guess what if you are on ODSP you are discriminated against because they can only get $95.00 for a filling instead of what they like to charge a whopping $350.00 . I guess low income people don’t fit in when they need to drive around Lexus and Porshe etc. Fairview dentistry even told me they only accept a few patients on ODSP and this was the exact figures given me over the phone. I don’t deserve dental care even though they do get paid but clearly greed is their main concern! Shame on all of you for caring about the rich and kicking the poor people to the curb. I am beyond disgusted!

Today was my appointment for my twice yearly dental cleaning. There have been many very positive changes at this clinic over the past 24 months, new dentists, reception staff, hygienists, new flooring, paint and new dental equipment, to name a few. Another new hygienist (Lindsay) introduced herself and led me to my dental chair. She was very friendly, professional in her approach as she checked, verified and updated my records and she took the time to let me know of more new changes that would be coming soon to Fairview Dentistry. Lindsay seemed very skilled and thorough as she cleaned and polished my teeth and was unusually gentle while performing this normally uncomfortable task. When the work was completed, she went out of her way to ensure that an upcoming appointment for my wife was rescheduled to better accommodate her special needs. Thanks Lindsay, I look forward to my next visit to Fairview Dentistry.

Fairview Dentistry is unprofessional, doesn't schedule visits properly, and charges you full price even if you absolutely nothing done to your teeth. My wife took our daughter in for her first checkup to have the dentist take a look at her teeth. She was nervous and wouldn't open her mouth for the hygienist. 5 minutes later they decided to leave, and didn't even see the dentist. When my wife tried to book another checkup the receptionist said that we had to pay for a full visit before she would schedule a follow up! $75 for absolutely nothing! Later on my wife went in for a cleaning which was scheduled at the end of the day so we arranged a babysitter for the kids. They didn't complete the full cleaning routine because they didn't schedule enough time to complete it! They told her to schedule another time to come back to complete the full range of things they do at a cleaning. The last straw... My wife got another babysitter, and went in to have all the remaining cleaning stuff completed. The hygienist said she needed to have a full round of x-rays and some other procedures done before her teeth could be cleaned. She wouldn't touch her teeth until it was all completed, and oh-by-the-way, the hygienist had to leave early that day to pick up her child from school for something and wouldn't be able to do the cleaning. So not only did she have to get another babysitter, but she wouldn't even be able to have her teeth cleaned!!!! To add insult to injury, the previous hygienist had made a note on her file that said my wife asked for all that nonsense to take place over multiple visits because of "money issues". My wife asked the hygienist what all that was about, since that was a load of BS, told her she didn't appreciate the way our family had been treated, got up and left. We will never go back to Fairview Dentistry. This has been the worst experience we've ever had with a dentist. I will make sure that everyone I know is aware of how unprofessional they are.

I’m new to Fairview and had fears with covid and going to get work done. Rest assured they have set things up very well, you text upon arrival, don’t come in until your room is ready and each room is sealed off. The also direct bill to insurance, which my last dentist wouldn’t do. I had more work done yesterday and received 3 needles for freezing, I hardly felt any pain from them. The dentist made me feel extremely comfortable during the procedure and was always asking if I was ok or needed a break. My wife has switched already to Fairview and I’ve referred a friend from work as well. All around from the front desk staff to hygienists, to the dentist this is the best dental practice I’ve visited

Needed a decaying crown replaced on an upper molar on the left which is a difficult spot. Dr. Kravatsov and his hygenist did an excellent job with great care and attention-to-detail and I was fitted with a temporary crown until the new replacment arrives in 2 weeks time. He is an excellent dentist who is very competent and professional. In addition, the practice is equipped with state of the art technology - used a digital scanner to take an impression!

Emergency visit due to a cracked tooth. The Doctor was amazing and checked with me throughout the process to see how I was doing. They had me scheduled the same day and then bumped me up after notifying me of a cancellation I could slot into. Doctor took his time and informed me of the options. He tried to save the tooth but after doing some work he asked if we could take an X-ray. I accepted and he showed me the issues of why the tooth couldn’t be saved via said X-ray. It had to be pulled which he recommended be done now. I accepted and the tooth was removed painlessly. It took the doctor a bit of work but it was a surprisingly pleasant process. I appreciate all their hard work and time.

Wish I got the experience everyone else had. After waiting 30 days they replaced my appointment for someone else and I'm an emergency so guess there was little to no care there. Furthermore, I got belittling texts from the receptionist which I really don't need while in tremendous pain and freshly quitting smoking for a wee now so my emotions are already all over, not to mention just mentally exhausted. I will not bring any future work here and unfortunately for the more than likely deserving dentists here, they gotta reevaluate their office staff because they just lost them $8,000 worth of work. Worst place ever I've had 3 fillings fall out from here. The pain while she was filling my cavities was so horrible I had to be my mom to come it the room so she would be more gentle. Find somewhere else it wasn't worth the money.

This dental office has gained my trust within my first two visits. I don't have a love for the dentist, however, Dr. Stan and his team are very respectful and caring. They walk you through the entire procedure and make you feel comfortable. As an added bonus, they have very modern technology including TVs with Netflix to binge watch your favourite shows while in the chair!

I'm so glad we found Fairview Dentistry when we moved to St. Thomas. Both dentists are wonderful and the staff is always polite, understanding and accommodating. Their office is beautifully updated as well which is nice. Highly recommend if you're new to the area or looking for a new dentist!

The staff is just fantastic. Very modern and upbeat atmosphere in the office. Very helpful when it comes to submitting claims to your benefit provider. Dr Stan explains everything up front and clearly so you understand and participate in decision making of your care. Dr Stan in my opinion is top shelf. I am a dentist coward and have had far to many bad experiences in my life. Dr Stan is so professional and experienced. He ended my life's deep phobia of the pain of going to the dentist. Grateful I found this clinic. Highly recommended. Thank each and every one of you Fairview Dentistry for being so professional. I am no longer a dentist coward. Cheers.

I had chipped a tooth, and was able to make an appointment the very next day. Front staff was so helpful, and understanding. I usually see Dr. Stan who i adore, but i had the pleasure of having Dr.Calvin repair my tooth. Dr. Calvin, was very gentle, talked me threw what he was doing, really a great experience. All i can say is you can not go wrong with either dentist. Thank you again for getting me in promptly.

All I can say is WOW !!!! I am totally satisfied with this place ...I moved here in September from London ont I just can't express my self enough I am truly blessed for moving to st Thomas to be with my boyfriend and my step daughter .We moved intogether on Woodworth Ave and just down the road 2 mins away I found this amazing dentist office I stopped in before I had to be to work and asked if they were accepting new patients and the lady at the desk said we sure are so with in no time she had me on my way and Booked the next day I am so impressed with this place it is a very clean atmosphere and up to date technology ..where my dentist in London that I had from when I was 15 was so old and the machinery was so old ..now I can say I found a fover home and dentist to call family xox
