Visited Martindale Dental for the first time yesterday because I broke my molar over the holidays. I called them on the 27th and they got me in on the 2nd right after New Year’s Day ! I was super happy they could get me in as a new patient with the busy holidays. The staff was super friendly and the office is super clean and chic. Booked my next appointment already for X-rays and a cleaning and they worked right around my work schedule ! Very pleased with its them so far will recommend to friends and family who live in St. Catharines.

My family have been going to Dr. Venditelli 15 years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We initially came because I had heard how great Lain was and he has lived up to our expectations. Awesome friendly and best dentist ever. The hygienists and receptions are all very nice as well.

Dr. Tina is a highly professional Dentist who was very attentive to my needs and concerns. I had a bad experience with a previous dentist and Dr. Tina was totally reassuring and caring through my appointments, making me feel much more confident. Dr. Tina worked very quickly and accurately on my teeth but also at a pace that was catered for me. I totally recommend Dr. Tina as a Dentist, thank you!

This is a really great dentist office. Very accommodating, I have a deep fear of the dentist after a really horrible experience and the staff here is very accommodating for me, especially Dr. Tina. I would fully recommend anyone with apprehension in regards to the dentist to try this office before giving up and living a life of gumming their food forever.

I had a great experience with this dental office and never will I ever leave. They take the best safety measures EVER. The staff was so kind and I am so satisfied with my visit. In particular I had the best experience with the office manager Jenn. She was so sweet and positive the entire time. Jenn knows how to keep an office calm, especially during these hard times. 5 stars is not enough for how I feel about the staff at Martindale Dental. My daughter had to have extensive dental work and is terrified of the dentist after a bad experience elsewhere. The entire staff was amazing. Jen at the front desk worked with me to ensure our benefits were covering the work, and kept me updated during surgery. Dr Tina is absolutely amazing. She is so kind and so gentle all while being professional. She is now the only one my daughter will let near her teeth. She put us both at ease throughout the process. I recommend Martindale to anyone and everyone. You get first class treatment from everyone who works there. Customer service at its finest. Thank you Dr Tina and team for making my daughters experience such a good one!

Dr Tina pulled 13 broken teeth from me today without a single stitch needed. She was an absolute sweetheart the entire time. Let me stop when there was pain and made sure I was numb before she started up again. 13 teeth in less then 2 hours with just general freezing. I was very much awake but she took the time to keep me calm. Also the dental technician. I don't remember your name hunny but thank you. Making sure to keep my mind off it. Telling me to wiggle my toes and fingers. Thank you to all of the staff at Martindale Dental. All you ladies are amazing ❤️❤️

I went there today for treating my cavities. Doctor Tina greeted me from the reception. Her and her partner, Dana, introduced theirshelves which made me comfortable than before. Dentists and their assistants here are more dedicated to client care than any other I have every gone to. I am 65 ...so that's a lot of dentists over the years. They go above and beyond to assure a good experience (seats massage and music chosen for you) and great results. I have been reluctant to smile my entire life. They reversed that! Thanks Carm and Vandu (hoping I got the names completely correct). I actually look forward to going to the dentist now.

I am not an easy patient-much anxiety with many follow up calls and worries....these were all met with extreme compassion, care and genuine concern. Some of the dentists and hygienists here are wonderful its such a shame that the administrative staff is so terrible. Be prepared to have money coming out of your bank account at completely random times with no warning or bill, and without your permission. Even months after your last visit, thinking insurance has covered it all. This has happened to me multiple times and they do not seem to care at all. All they care about is taking your money - no customer service whatsoever. Plenty of other great dentists in the region, not worth the hassle. Very untrustworthy, take your business elsewhere.

I have been coming to Martindale Dental at the St. Catharines location for years now and several of my extended family members come here as well. Everyone in my family loves this office, including my young children who are very timid of the dentist. It was very important to me that my children had a good experience at the dentist as I didn't when I was younger. Dr. Quadros and his awesome assistant Katy did sleep dentistry on one of my children and it was a very stress free and positive experience for the family. I would highly recommend this office as every aspect from the front desk girls though to the hygienists and dentists is always a professional and stress free.

Under new ownership/management. Since new dentist has taken over I have been very unsatisfied with the new dentist/Dr, for my cleaning appointment I had to wait an extra 30 min aftet my cleaning for the dentist to arrive, totally unprofessional. Then 3 weeks later had a follow up appointment for a cavity/filling I arrive 10 min early to be told that the dentist/Dr was running late again, I book appointments on my day off and have no problem being on time for my appointment how is the Dentist late this is not professional and shows a complete lack of care for your patients time and lives.

Every visit is a terrific experience! From the friendly and staff at the front desk, to the dentists and hygienists, the service is exemplary! Even though all the hygenists are great my favourite is Natalie and I schedule my appointments with her. My teeth are very sensitive because much of the enamel has worn away. However, Natalie's amazing skills, caring and fun demeanor minimizes the discomfort. She is so pleasant and professional! I highly recommend Martindale clinic for your dental work, especially if you feel some trepidation about going to the dentist - they will put you at ease!

They listen to concerns and explain all the options. Very conscious of the limits to my dental plan. Had follow up appointments and calls from Martindale to ensure I was doing ok. I have transferred my dental files to Dr Tina. Never felt as cared for by a dental team in many years. Highly recommend Dr Tina and Mo.

My hygienist (Joe) was the best I have ever had, great experience, and if we can stay with Joe I am more than comfortable bringing my daughter here for her first dentist appointment when it is time! Coming here was also the first time that some things about my dental health were actually explained to me rather than just being told “You’ll be fine, it’s nothing major” from my previous dentist, Dr. Markulin in was great! At first I had great experiences here with a few different dentists and all the hygienists were very friendly, gentle and informative. The front secretary's have been nothing but kind and very accommodating whenever I had any concerns or booking appointments. I would give the secretary's & hygienists all 5/5 stars. But then I had a tooth extraction with a dentist I hadn't seen before at this location, Dr. Markulin. He had come with very high recommendations. Honestly, I don't know why. I went in for a tooth extraction and almost choked on the pieces that he was drilling and forcing out aggressively. He was rude, rough and angry. I just have no words of how I was treated. When it was over I was in tears and in full panic mode. No apologies and no after care was given. He cut the corner of my mouth so bad it didn't heal for a long time. I also had bruising on my face. ???? It was a traumatic experience. I had already endured many traumatic experiences throughout my life with many different dentists so this put me into full on fear about going to any dentist ever again!!! I would have given this dental practise a 5 star had I not seen this dentist.

Doesn't return calls. Surprises you with mysterious late bills. If you're waiting for an important procedure to be done, you'll be waiting till your hair turns grey.

My dentist (there are multiple at location) is very friendly as well as hygienists and reception. I had my wisdom teeth out in the office as well and the team involved with proceedure was great. Everyone very professional and they are taking care with Covid to ensure customer safety. Only reason that I did not rate 5 star is because of 2 issues with billing to secondary insurance plan but that would not stop me from going to them or from recommending to others.

I have not had an issue in the past with cleanings, reception staff and most of the dentists that I have been treated by (probably 7 different doctors and at least as many hygienists) at Martindale dental seemed fine. I do however feel cheated/deceived and will not be returning to this business. Also, when I look over all of the negative reviews and even some of the positive ones, there is a theme that the billing practices at this dental office are not great which is the reason for my negative review. I went to Martindale dental for a pain in my tooth and the doctor told me that I needed a root canal. I have insurance, so I didn't think anything of it and made the appointment. When I arrived, the doctor with whom I was scheduled to meet (the staff told me that he was the BEST) was unavailable and that another doctor would be doing the procedure. while working, he seemed stressed, argumentative with the assistant especially when the assistant asked him if he wanted another dentist to assist. Needless to say, it was not the best appointment of my life (Root canal aside). When the root canal was done, I was told that I would have to come back in a week and have a cap put on the tooth providing that there was no pain. When I went back the following week, I still had some pain in the tooth, and the doctor that I was to meet with originally was who I saw that day. He took more x-rays and determined that the doctor that did the root canal actually missed 2 canals in my tooth!! I had to then be frozen again and have this (top notch) dentist perform, or finish the root canal. This dentist finished the working half of the time, and with far less distress. All went well, and I felt confident that the job was done and done correctly. When I went to book the appointment, the receptionist told me that I needed to call my insurance company as they were not going to cover my cap. I told her that I would get this sorted out and call them in a few days once this was sorted out.. To make the rest of this long review very short, I was called a few days later and told that I had a balance owing of roughly $800 and that my insurance was not going to cover. Basically, I believe that they were negligent in not providing the insurance company with an estimate (standard practice) before doing the root canal. From what I was told, this is usually done, but they have had “staffing and computer issues”. Both of these issues should not be made mine, nor any other patients in my opinion. I will NOT be back to Martindale dental. They have lost my trust.

I depend very strongly on Dr. Markulin to ensure that things go right for me re. my dental health. That said, my experience has been excellent anyway. Thank you very much. I am assuming that special concessions are made re. cost for persons who do not have a dental insurance plan like mine or, any plan. Despite my relatively good plan, I find the cost quite steep which partly explains why I do not come in more often for my general hygiene. The other explanation is that I believe that I take excellent care of my teeth/mouth. Joe, Josie and others have been excellent. The Front Desk has been excellent Thanks very much.

It was my first time visiting a dental clinic around St. Catharines, and I had an impressive experience here. The Clinic was clean and looked very systematic. Every clerk wore masks for safety plus, they even draw lines in front of their entrance to help visitors enter and exit during this COVID crisis. Dr. Teima helped me for examination. She explained very nicely and in detail; what is going on, what`s the reason and what would be the best for me. Also, the staff was so kind. I missed asking her name, but the middle-aged lady at the front desk helped me a lot about using my insurance. I`m so thankful for it. If someone wants to meet someone professional in both medical and customer service should visit here.

I called Martindale Dental and spoke with Jen regarding my 8 year old daughter having a toothache. I was immediately given an appointment to bring her in and have her examined. A treatment plan was devised and my daughter returned to have her issue taken care of. Dr Lok and Dr Tina were absolutely amazing with her. She is a little girl that is easily frightened by the thought of going to the dentist. lol. They had her completely at ease from the moment she walked through the door. Martindale dental Is the place to be ! It's truly rare to find a dental office this educated and accomplished, one that truly cares for their patients and going above and beyond each visit. From the receptionist to the dental hygienists and assistants, especially the dentists themselves! A big shout out to Doctor Tina, Mo, Loren, Dana and a few others. I had a highspot for 10 years minimum and you helped rid me of that pain in my first visit, and if only I had realised a teeth cleaning could be that relaxing with ZERO discomfort seriously.. I know that I almost fell asleep but my s/o actually did during his! ???? You have helped me through taking care of my cavities and proper oral care amongst providing me with all my options yet caring enough to give me your honest and genuine opinion for the best and most convenient yet efficient outcome financially and physically. I now have hope for my teeth after suffering through an accident in elementary... I had thought that my teeth would never be normal, or that I couldn't have my smile back and now my future is looking bright???????? Dr. Markulin has been my dentist for a few years now and he has done some fillings for me and an extraction which all went smoothly. Being someone that had always been a little anxious about going to the dentist, he has made me feel a lot more comfortable and is the only dentist I trust! All the staff and hygienists are great too. Dr. Markulin has been nothing but kind and caring each time I've seen him so I'm not sure what the other reviewer experienced. Sometimes with extractions bruising and swelling on your face is normal as this happened to me when I had a different tooth extracted by an oral surgeon (different dentist). Martindale Dental is fantastic! Dr. Tina and Moe are great at what they do and always make sure you feel understood and also make sure that you understand what your needs are and why. They are very compassionate and it is clear to see that they have their patients' best interest in mind. Working in health care myself, I understand and extra-appreciate the importance of friendly and welcoming staff and everyone at Martindale Dental is lovely! After waiting a 25 minutes listening to staff giggling and gossiping, I was brought to.a dental chair to drill and fill a cavity as I was told I had in previous appointment. There was no cavity but a chipped molar I have had for 20 years with no discomfort. I was told it needs to be filled. They proceeded with no anesthesia and I jumped in my chair. After Novocaine treatment tooth was drilled and filled. I have had discomfort since appointment 8 days ago, have called 3 times to schedule an.appointment without success. Answering machine is end result each time. The damage is done, I don't know how they will approach this but they will one way or another. I do not recommend going to Martindale Dental. Round 2, I waited for an appointment scheduled for 8 am to fix the issue and I was told it was at 9 am while waiting. I blew off 9 am appointment out of frustration and having to go to work. I received callbacks asking to reschedule. I did and was worked on by a different dentist and dental hygienist. The appointment went very well. I felt confident in their abilities, no lingering pain afterwards, and staff was courteous. Perhaps a bad first experience but a good overall experience. You will have to go there to see for yourself. I would consider going there again. Thank you Martindale Dental for pulling through.

Absolutely wonderful dental services! I had pretty bad teeth and was very self conscious about getting them cleaned and fixed up. I booked an initial cleaning over a year ago and was only met with positive energy and have been going back ever since. I would recommend booking orthodontic work with Dr. Mays, the clear correct aligners process was amazing as well as a good price point. She is an amazing dentist and worked with me to get the perfect smile I've always wanted. The staff there are all very friendly and welcoming.

I was so happy with the work they did on my little girl. It was a terrific experience! From the friendly staff at the front desk, to the dentists and hygienists, the service is exemplary! My little girl and I would recommend Martindale clinic for dental work, especially if you feel fear or agitated about going to the dentist- they will put you at ease!

Although it’s a little embarrassing to admit this as an adult, but I have had a life long fear of the dentist. I had a terrible dentist as a child that made me so anxious about the dentist that I avoided going for probably a decade. I finally went today, and Dr. Tina was incredible! When I admitted my phobia, both she and the assistant, Mo, were empathetic, patient, and kind, explaining the procedure before and during, and double checking and triple checking that the freezing in my face was done correctly so that I felt no pain throughout. The whole procedure was painless, quick, and went on without a single hitch thanks to Dr. Tina and Mo! I was so touched by the kindness that I’m typing this review in my car with a very numb face, lol! A decade avoiding dental work means I will be coming back very soon, but for the first time ever, I’m looking forward to it instead of dreading it. Thank you so much!
