New patient to Garden City Dental. My experience with their staff has been incredibly helpful, accommodating and thorough. The environment felt very clean + COVID-safe. My hygienist was kind, gentle, and offered lots of helpful insights, education and tips into my dental concerns. Shoutout to Tracey and Monica! Would highly recommend this dental clinic to anyone new to St Catharines or looking for a new clinic.

AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING!! Highly highly recommended!!! I was thinking about getting a local dentist, and then a pesky tooth issue pushed me to make a quick decision. I called Monday morning and was lucky to get an appointment that day. I was assigned to Dr. Kevin, who is phenomenal!! From his bedside manner, to thorough explanations in plain language, it was so refreshing. I have a very low pain tolerance and don't handle needles well, however Dr. Kevin was so reassuring, a magician with needles, and made sure I was fully frozen before starting anything. I am so so so happy this dental team welcomed me with open arms (more like an open mouth) :) Thanks again to Lisa & Christine (the admin staff), and Vanessa & Dr. Kevin!!

Been going here since I was a child. I am now in my late 30s. The dentist is extremely kind and attentive with services. I had a cavity and did not have any pain during the procedure. He even didnt fill the second cavity as it wasn't bad enough. Most places would jusr fill it for the money. The receptionists always know what to bill according to my insurance as well. The only reason I left was because I moved away. Now I am having a hard time finding a new dentist with the same services as to what I was used to.

I was introduced to Dr. Di Paola in 1992 when he was co-opting with Dr. Bergman, my then dentist. He took over Dr. Bergman's practice in 2004 and has been my dentist ever since. I can't imagine having any other dentist. Dr. Di Paola and his staff are a genuine group of people. Very friendly and caring & accommodating. It is rare I've had to wait when having an urgent or emergency situation with my teeth. I highly recommend and can't say enough good things about him and his ladies. He does excellent dental work. The office is a must visit on Hallow's and Christmas! Thanks again Garden City Dental. PS. You can never retire Jane. D. Tich.

Was my dentist since childhood with Dr Trukel, charged $50.00 for a missed appointment because, “there's less patients due to covid.” There is new staff and they have no respect for you as a human, they only care about your money. (First cancellation in over 17 years)

Can't honestly say that this is "emergency dental". There are instances where a tooth infection is a medical emergency. You should not be turned away because you don't have the "right" insurance.

As you walk in the door the staff that welcomes you are amazing. They are so helpful with the insurance coverage information and make appointments work with my schedule. Dr. Kevin is a great dentist who not only has the skills but is also concerned with how I’m dealing with the procedure. I’ve had my share of dental work thanks to my Dads weak teeth so I know a good dentist. I’ve had fillings, root canals & recently a crown. I have been going here for years, great staff. I just had a tooth pulled today by Dr.Woon-fat. My teeth are very hard to work on said by many dentists and DR.Woon-fat was very patient and didn't let a challenge stop him, 10/10 highly recommend.

Dr. Appel is an amazing dentist! Very knowledgeable and professional, takes his time and explains everything he is doing. I highly recommend for children as well. He was extremely patient and caring with my two young boys, spoke to them in terms they understood . He makes the dentist office not scary at all!! The staff is also kind and very welcoming!

I have been going to Garden City Dental since I was a little kid and I have never had a bad experience. I recently went for a cleaning and checkup. The secretary was amazing and answered all the questions I had about my insurance. The dental hygienist did an amazing job as well. Dr. Di Paola is the most down to earth dentist you will ever find. Highly recommended for timely, friendly and ethical service. They will do the necessary work properly . I had a root canal recommended over 20 years ago from a different dentist. Here Dr. Di Paola filled the tooth. Less pain, less invasive, less expensive. Staff get along well with each other and there is low turnover.

Reception staff are always friendly, both over the phone and in-person, you really do feel valued here. Dr.Kevin takes his time, is very thorough and makes sure he explains things to you. My friend ended up in the hospital and nearly died because Rocco Dipaolo failed to prescribe antibiotics prior to the extraction of some teeth in my friends' mouth. My friend was in I.C.U. because the air passage was closing up. The doctor on call at the hospital had to force a breathing apparatus deep down into my friends' windpipe because the airway had become comprimised. To make matters worse Dipaola failed to make contact with my friend to see how she was coping post surgery. SHAME ON YOU DIPOLO, YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR LICIENCE REVOKED. MAYBE I SHOULD CALL THE COLLEGE AND REPORT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I recently had to get dentures, at Garden city dental my experience was beyond what I expected. From the office staff, dental assistant and my dentist. For me, Lisa at reception was extremely helpful. She broke everything down for me in a way I could understand, the dentist and assiant, Dr Brent appel and his dental assistant Jerry have been absolutely amazing every step of the journey.i can now finally smlhow off my new smile ! I have tried other dental offices before and felt rushed and pressured to make a decision on he spot, here they are so amazing and will work with you 10/10

Had 2 wisdom teeth taken out here a week ago and have had nothing but issues since I stepped foot in the door. While paying for my x Ray's at the first appointment the receptionist was incredibly rude to the dental assistant who walked me up to the counter. She has very condescending and short with her and made it a very uncomfortable experience for me to watch...not mention i am felt bad for the dental assistant. Not nearly enough freezing was in when Dr. Kevin started yanking on the bottom tooth so lucky me got to feel things tear! I was told 2-3 days for the stitches to come out...well 7 days later one is still there! The pain meds I was prescribed were terrible and I ended up having to get another script from an after hours clinic for T3 just to be able to sleep through the night...this was 2 days after the surgery when I decided I was tired of hurting constantly. Then we come today. Call at 1pm on a Thursday.. a very common time to be a fully functioning business...because I think it's a bit infected. The receptionist I spoke with was again very rude. She was incredibly disrespectful. But more to the point...why have the office open until 5 if you cant even take patients for half the working day because they are gone to a conference. Couldnt offer me an appointment until monday morning. So if I do have an infection then it should be sure to have spread to my bloodstream by monday morning. Thanks guys!
