Dr. Mar was the best. He is a highly educated orthodontist who graduated from Harvard and dedicates many hours to educating fellow Orthodontic students at the University of Alberta, you'd never expect these things because he is so incredibly modest and kind. I highly suggest reading up on him on his website or just simply on google, he has reference after reference and you can tell that he was born to go into orthodontics. His passion for academics and teeth really shows. He remembers details about ever single one of his patients which i loved, it made me feel important and appreciated. He makes a personal connection with each and every single person he comes into contact with. He also has state of the art equiptment which makes each experience with Dr. Mar, a great one. The people at the front desk are incredibly kind and helpful, specifically Fulya, I believe that was her name. She is so great at what she does and she always has a smile one her face. My 2 teenage boys, Jaden & Braxton Kennedy were referred to Mar Orthodontics by Dr. Lance Buckley specifically because we are a very busy family (both boy's play competitive soccer) and needed someone located in Sherwood Park. We were impressed with Dr. Mar and his team of staff right at the initial meeting - Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! The boy's opted for track braces versus invisalign based on personal preference and what they thought would be best for their lifestyle which required frequent appointments. Unfortunately shortly thereafter Dr. Mars' office moved their Sherwood Park office to St. Albert, needless to say I was not happy. However, based on the professionalism, competency and service we received from Dr. Mar we made the drive to St. Albert for all appointments without hesitation. And are we ever happy we did. Now that the boy's braces are off and they both have "Movie Star Teeth" we are incredibly grateful and happy to Dr. Mar and staff - Thank You Dr. Mar!! Over and beyond the fact the boy's have Perfect Teeth, Mar Orthodontics provided Braxton's soccer team, St. Albert Impact, with a sponsorship when they were vying for the Canada Soccer Tier I Youth National Title! Proud to say the boy's won Gold and hold the title of the best U15 soccer team in Canada for 2019. Earning this title was made easier by the generosity of people like Dr. Mar. We’re so happy with the progress on our boys smiles! The Clear Correct aligners were the best choice and cost competitive! My boys like being able to eat anything, it’s so much easier to keep their teeth clean, and works awesome with their goalie masks and batting helmets. My youngest started when he was 10 and he’s so responsible with managing his trays and it’s such a relief to see the spacing created as his adult teeth come in. Dr. Mar and Dr. L are so personable and communication has been great. The office staff are friendly and accommodating, we highly recommend Mar Orthodontics.

This place was the best I have been to for price and quality. I had braces in my late teens and the first Doctor ruined my teeth by taking them off early and moulding my retainer wrong. Not a bad orthodontist, but them enforcing a double mask policy is ridiculous, even one mask restricts my breathing, no where in Edmonton or St. Albert that I've come across has enforced this policy, it is reducing nothing other then the want to even enter their business, do not recommend unless you feel like getting brain damage.

My daughter was a patient at Mar Orthodontics St. Albert location and used Invisalign successfully and has a beautiful perfect smile. She found the liners comfortable, durable and effectively moved the teeth with minimal soreness. The part she liked most was the freedom to remove them for meals, easy cleaning, and gradual adjustments meant general soreness but not pain. Being removable for meals allows a break from the process and creates flexibility and choice, where previously traditional products could not accommodate those choices. Dr. Mar and his staff are qualified, caring, skilled professionals, the premises are very clean, includes an on-site lab, minimal waiting room time, and always a safe relaxed positive experience. Orthodontic services received were of exceptional standards and completed according to the estimated timeframe and cost. Dr. Mar’s office has a great location, directly off Highway 16 and you’re there in 5 mins, plus shopping, gas and food in the surrounding shops. Would definitely recommend Dr. Mar and his team!

My husband, son and daughter have all gotten Invisalign at this office. Staff are amazing. Did all the legwork for running it through our insurance companies (which was a HUGE pain in the arse for me to deal with both so that saved me hours and a lot of stress). Dr. Mar is friendly and hilarious! (Although telling me I looked older than I am was almost a deal breaker hahah just kidding!). They've always been on time for appts and throughout covid have made it easy and pain free. My kids are always happy when they leave and my husband, although he was reluctant to get Invisalign at 38 years old says all the staff and Dr's are awesome. They go above and beyond to keep us informed and comfortable when we are there. Dr. Mar will even call me on his weekends to update me on my kids. That’s amazing service!

I was reluctant to get traditional braces when I was younger, but thanks to Dr. Mar I recently completed my Clear Correct treatment and I’m super happy with my teeth. The trays were hardly noticeable (even with a few attachments), easy to clean, and I experienced very minimal discomfort. I liked the fact that all I had to do was remove the trays and I was free to eat and drink whatever I liked and not have to worry about food getting stuck in wires like traditional braces. Overall, I had a really great experience and would definitely recommend Dr. Mar and his team!
