This is the best dentist office in the Kootenays. Their staff is super friendly, their dental assistants are top notch and are really great at training ????and the dentist is amazing!! So fast, yet thorough and his attitude is so pleasant, upbeat and he makes a trip to the dentist a pleasant one! I recommend this dental office to any and everyone! Especially if you are looking to put your children at ease! Friendly faces all around here❤️

My teenaged son had a great experience! He said "the dentist was super cool!". The staff were friendly and efficient, and the environment was clean and inviting. The young lady at the front desk was fantastic as well! What more could you ask for in a dental office?! I highly recommend them. :)

I have always been one who’s been afraid of the dentist since I was a young child. I seen with my brothers have gone through and what I’ve gone through in the past. But the pain was too much on two teeth and I needed to get work done. I was looking for a dentist and I saw the sign that made me laugh. And as soon as I walk into the doors I felt safe I felt comfortable and I knew this was the right place and the right thing to do. The people at Kooteney family dental treated me with respect with care and explained everything to me. I have never had a better experience in my life. It was painless and I feel great the recovery time and everything was to a T.. The staff there is remarkable and my experience was amazing. I thought I’d never say this but I actually look forward to going to the dentist just to see the staff and the dentist. I’ve told my friends right across the country about this place and I would recommend them to anyone

Kootenay Family Dental has been our first choice for our family for many years! Every experience has been positive since my boys were small. Today is a another example of why ... my 16 year old was referred to an out of town oral surgeon by Dr Audet @ KFD. That was all set up just fine but when he showed up at the wrong place for his wisdom tooth extraction and I had no way to contact the out of town office, the amazing Shana Johnstone was there to help! On a Sunday afternoon, she immediately responded to my SOS message and got us on the right track. Thank you, all, at KFD, for the personalized service that shows you really care about your clients ????

I recently switched over to Kootenay Family Dental after years of going to another dentist. I can honestly say, I wish I had switched over sooner. I have had 4 appointments in under 2 weeks due to issues. They have been very accommodating and the wait has never been more than 5 min. The staff is very personable and I was very pleased with the work they did on my teeth. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Zero compassion,integrity and respect towards patients.ive never been treated so poorly by any clinic in my life. They fired me as a patient because I questioned a 400 dollar cleaning while I was in for an emergency appointment. They refused to treat me and left me in excruciating pain while I have a 6 month old daughter and family I'm trying to provide for..I would not recommend this clinic to anyone. Their complete disregard for their patients disgust me and ultimately they have left me to suffer through this for the last 3 weeks while trying to find another clinic..the only good thing I can say about them is their blonde receptionist is awesome unfortunately the rest of the staff doesn't seem to care about their patients at all.

By far the best dentist ive ever had. Was 12 years since the last place i had work done that scared me off of dental work, but came here and just had a rotten wisdom and back tooth pulled and had little to no pain during procedure. I hate needles and dr audette (i may have the name spelt wrong) did that very well with very little discomfort. I would highly recomend, and my wife and i will be taking our child here and getting any and all our work done here from now on.

I’m an international student. I had a really really bad toothache and the roof of my mouth was so swellen. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t eat anything. I was afraid, because I’m a foreigner and not good at English. I took a treatment yesterday, however, they were soooo kind and gentle. they explaned me very easy, I could understand what happen to me. Thank you so much!!????????????????????????

My husband and I are new patients to the office.Staff are all very helpful ,professional and super friendly.Dr.Audette gives you all the options to help you make sound dental health decisions. On one occasion an out of town worker came in without an appointment with an extremely painful tooth. Dr. Audette and his Team fit him in, between patients and solved his problem. It made me think about how happy I would have been to get such great service in that situation. If your looking for a professional ,compassionate and knowledgeable Dental Team, look no further !!

I had scheduled my first appointment to fix a broken front tooth, having never seen another dentist (in the area), this was my first choice. My appt was at 8am and roughly 3 minutes after 8 am I received a phone call. Upon apologizing and asking if I was still able to come to the appointment (absolute max 10-12 mins late) I was told to find a different dentist. The vast majority of other health businesses would attempt to be accommodating or offer a different time, none of this was offered or suggested. I hardly had a chance to communicate prior being told to go elsewhere. Mistakes and accidents happen! Normally I would have attempted to make another appt at a later date, but I was not offered this opportunity before being brushed off and basically hung up on. I totally know it was my fault for missing the appointment, but I do expect to be treated kindly. Luckily, another dentist was able to accommodate me, and treated me with the upmost respect. (Kootenay smile).
