My appointment time was delayed so had to wait. All I wanted was an extraction as I am a senior on a fixed income(low). They said they wouldn't charge me for the xray which I appreciated. When I got the bill though I was charger for an assessment and the extraction. My tooth was extremley loose due to bone loss so it came out very easy. I think seniors should get a discount if they have no coverage. Thanks.

Dr. Gupta is so patient and kind and does a fantastic job. Very happy with every time I have had to come in for work. The assistants are very cheerful and competent as well. Dr. Soltys used to be the same way but his demeanor has seems to have soured in the last few years. He's still a very good dentist but maybe not as personable as he used to be.

The staff was friendly and efficient and I have no complaints at all about the service. The one complaint I do have is that I am in a power wheelchair and the rooms are so small that it was quite the adventure to get my chair out of the room after I had transfered to the dentist chair. I this day and age when we have all of these codes and guidelines to make life for people with disabilities easier I don't understand why, in their recent renovations they didn't leave one room large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

I am in pain for all 4 weeks after filling! full weeks on strong pain killers. Four weeks later I came in for a second set of filling, i complained about the pain from my previous filling that they did and the dentist said it was just normal and nothing wrong with the work they have done but the dentist said i should get the silver filling instead of the white one which i did not get an option when they did my first filling. Receptionist are not that friendly and not even smiling, i feel like im not welcome. Not coming back!

This is the only business that I know of that doesn't provide a bill or explanation of billing prior to requesting payment. When I ask to see the bill first, they seem a bit offended and seem to act like I am causing them extra work. I feel the business process should always be that they provide the bill first, without the customer asking. The staff are friendly.

Avoid this place like it was the plauge!!!! Absolutly disgusting and dragged out the procedure to almost an hour and 45 minuits. I had a root canal done and the dentist I had bounced back and forth between multiple clients and never changed his gloves once. Never going back and never paying my Bill!! may see a lawyer or BBB this place should be closed down.

Worst customer service ever. Specifically the woman working at the front reciption named Shayla. She talks in a trashy way and makes you feel so bad about your self. I had to reschedule my appointment and she told me I had to pay a fee even though I just booked the appointment couple hours before and told her ill call you back I might cancle it. So I doubled check my schedule and told her I cant make it and she wanted me to pay cancellation fee and She said you can go somewhere else and I said “fine” and she is like “great”. I am not sure where they found her and how they hired her but she sure doesnt know how to talk to customers specially if the dentistry is called “family friendly” when its really not. Clearly she does not care about the business and their clients.

We are regular patients here and I took my daughter here to get her bottom front teeth checked as new ones are growing in behind. We arrived and were told it would be a check up and cleaning as well. I explained she's very nervous about the dentist and may get upset and not let them do much. The 2 ladies that did her check up and cleaning were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING with her. There was not a single tear except near the end when she gagged on the bite block for the xrays. I was so impressed that I requested these 2 ladies for her next visit. I had a very bad experience with this dental office and when I tried to file a complaint in person, the receptionist said she would pass it on to the supervisor and I would receive a phone call but I never did and she never took any notes on what I said. I have very bad teeth and have been through the process of having fillings and freezing needles and everything many, many times; and I have never had an experience like I did at the Victoria Square Dental office, neither has a dentist previously received such large payments for the dental work done. First, I had 2 fillings done, when the freezing wore off I had the most terrible pain in the one tooth and throughout my entire mouth and gums. This pain did not recede the next day or any days after. Four days later I came in for a second set of fillings, complained about the pain, and the dentist said it was just normal and there was nothing wrong with the work he had done. After leaving, I had swelling and bleeding in between two teeth that had been worked on, and no matter how much I flossed and cleaned, it did not go away. Finally, a week after the second dental treatment, I sought a second opinion from another dentist. She said nothing was wrong with the filling, but scraped out loose pieces of the silver filling from around my gum line. Later that evening, I finally picked out what was stuck between my teeth, which was a piece of a wedge that the dentist had pressed between my teeth on the second visit, and my gums returned to normal. The next day I went in to Vic Square dentist to pay a bill and made the complaint about the wedge. Also, I found out on my second visit to vic square that there is only one dentist in the entire clinic. In that visit alone, I had one dental assistant, another non-dentist did the needles to freeze my gums, the dentist drilled, and a fourth non-dentist filled three fillings for me. There are 8 treatment rooms in this office and one dentist rushes back and forth to each room the entire time. I didn't mention the sloppiness with which they cleaned up after drilling and putting in the fillings. On my first visit, after they said I was all done, I felt something in my mouth and found a big chunk of filling. The assistant gave me a cup of water to rinse and spit back in. With my mouth still frozen I could not rinse very well but I was shocked at what came back out into the cup! I had never experienced any leftover crumbs of filling EVER before. Not only that, for the next 10 days, I repeatedly found more and more crumbs slowly loosening, even with very careful flossing and brushing. This clinic is always full and leaves every patient waiting too long for their schedules appointment. There are at least 4 receptionists at a time and yet I have never stepped up to the desk for any reason and received prompt attention. They are always busy talking on phones or doing other work and the client is always kept waiting. Also, I have not found many friendly receptionists or assistants in my experience. The dentist himself is always very friendly, but most of the other staff hardly crack a smile or make me feel welcome. I think it is unnecessary to say that I will not visit this dental office again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Dr. Gupta is a fantastic dentist! Especially when it comes to root canal treatment. He often preps for them beforehand so the actual root canal procedure doesn't take forever. On my first visit I had one x-ray and a filling for which they took about 1 hr and charged me $268 and after few weeks on my second visit the doctor told me he will patch up the same filling that he did last time and will take 10 min which he did and for this procedure they charge me $341. Which doesn't make any sense to me. When I asked doc about this he told me patching is same as filling. So even if I agree with him how its possible a same job of 1 hr w/x-rays cost less than 10 min job. I will be not be going there anymore.

We just had to add to our review from 8 months ago (below, about our kids' experience) to give more praises for this place: I request to see Leah each time I come for cleanings because she is amazing! Every time after a thorough cleaning (bless her soul for so patiently dealing with the tartar!), I leave amazed that there is absolutely NO soreness or pain from the cleaning! She is truly incredibly skilled, people! This has never been the case for me with other hygienists/DT's I have had in the past at other clinics. So I highly recommend her! Thanks so much, Leah!! *Previous review* Renee is the best! She is so good with our kids. Our 3 year old happily went into her appointment the other day (she has seen Renee for all her appointments) and they took such great care of her. Our oldest (7) has had to have quite a few cavities fixed over several appointments in the past, and it says a lot that our child is happy to go see Renee each and every time. The kids actually look forward to coming and even the prizes they have are pretty great! Dr Kevin is great! He and Renee are realistic, reasonable and upfront with any work that needs to be done. We are so grateful for their incredible service and are so happy we made the switch to this clinic a few years ago!
