Appointments were on time and easy to obtain. Receptionists are tremendous as they walk you through the billing process and how long they have set aside for you. I am terribly afraid of dentists but Dr. Thachuck ( sp) and his assistants are very careful to make sure you are comfortable and as pain free as possible. I would highly recommend these people.

My son is 6. Complained he had a sore tooth, booked him in for a routined filing. As he had done in October without a problem. They tell me the filing is too bad, it needs to be pulled. He will then need the specialist to install a spacer for his adult tooth to come through straight. The dentist tells me they can deal with the tooth today or at a later date with the specialist. He’s 6 and in quite a bit of pain from the cavity so I chose to have it out. I’m with his 5yr old brother in the waiting room and I hear screaming. I go to check on my other son to see what’s happening. He’s shaking in the chair covered in blood. They tell me they can’t do it. I, noticeably upset asked why? The dentist automatically throughs his hands in the air and went on about how they had not even touched him. That he was just too scared to have the extraction done. First of all - they tried to pull his tooth. He was bleeding for hours after. Secondly if the dentist was unsure if he could have did the extraction successfully or not then he should not have put my 6 year old through the unnecessary trauma and pain. They tried to pull my 6 year olds tooth. When the freezing didn’t take, instead of trying to freeze some more and waiting like they would with any other person ( like they had to stick him numerous times in October prior for the freezing to work properly) they left his half pulled tooth in his face and told us to go so where else. Then LIED and said they never touched my son. I have posted a video. Where they noticeably damaged and ripped his gum off his tooth from trying to complete the extraction.

The service is okay. I had my orthodontics retainers fixed here. The retainers are just keep coming off every 2-3 months. They re-fixed them but one of the retainer came off again after 2 months.

Beware - First Visit - 16 xrays. Never in my life have I had so many xrays. Called around to 3 other offices to find out if that was best practice for new patients - got a resounding no. Have a problem after an oral surgery? Don't go here - you need an appointment even for urgent post-op care - unheard of. They'll harass you with calls, texts and emails about your appointment unless you opt out. They are more concerned about making money than caring for their patients. Look elsewhere.

The way they make you take off your boots and walk through water on the mat in the front entrance is not welcoming. There were slippers there but they were spread out all over and looked dirty so I didn’t use them. The dentists assistant was very rough with the suctioning tools. I can say on a positive note that the dentist was very gentle and I had little to no pain during my procedure. I was also taken in to my appointment promptly and didn’t have to wait.

Cant say enough great things about this office. I had a rare case where I was waiting for an oral surgeon to call me for over 2 months. Robin the manager caught wind of this through another associate and reached out. She reached out on Friday June 4th/21 and had me in the office getting the required repairs done Monday June 7th/21. I have a plate and screws on the right side of my jaw, so to pull the wisdom (48) and repair the Molar (47) others were not so confident to do. Dr. Marc Tkatchuk did amazing work on the extraction and root canal. I am now pain free, and so grateful that Robin and Dr. Marc got me in this fast and not only that but did amazing dental work. Now just over a week later feeling pain free, being able to eat solid foods, and sleep through the night again! Thank you Grasslands!!

Had to go in for a root canal and I was a little worried from hearing everyone horror stories about how painful and horrible root canals were. Dr Tkachuk must be the best dentist in the city cause I didn’t feel a thing and I really don’t know why people complain so much about root canals. I have to say that the Regina Dental group has been amazing to deal with and are so friendly. They helped me through a lot of dental emergency and I am so thankful to have them as my dentist. They are very great at what they do if you are anxious or have any anxiety they help deal with that. I was here first time for my dental cleaning and checkup. They did everything wrong and I ended up paying $329 just for x-rays lol. They clearly took my money for nothing. Refered to Dr. Bhandari who did nothing and left in 1-2 mins and I was handed over $1400 quote. I went to Lakeshore the other day and I was quoted $400 for everything. Wow. These guys are ultimate thugs. Save yourself from getting ripped. Provided I have no dental issues or past illness. Just some cleaning and minor filling.

There was another option but I chose to have a molar pulled. The dental assistant was as nice as could be and the dentist was merciful in freezing and wrenching to accomplish the extraction. No easy task for him or for me but he did what I asked for with minimal discomfort to me. A molar or for that matter any tooth that is gone forever is a significant loss. Brush and floss or suffer the loss.

They did just cleaning of teeth. Just right side down teeths. It started bleeding. Though after cleaning blood is normal. But the type of continue bleeding i have is very nightmare. I went back three times to Dr Marc Tkatchuk office. I met Doctor once. He said "YOU DONT GONNA DIE OF THIS BLOOD. AND I(Doctor) dont want to listen this again". Now i am in EMERGENCY PASQUA Hospital. from TWO days. And even Staff Amazed what this Dentist had done. Bleeding continuously fron last 3 days. Spent 1st night Standing in washroom. AND DOCTORS SAID..YOU DONT GONNA DIE. Now Pasqua is going to refer me in General Hospital for surgery. And DOCTOR SAID "You dont gonna die"so arrogant doctor. Be a Human. I was with you that i am in problem after getting my gums cleaning. And What a RuDE reply you gave. And now i am in Emergency. ROOM NO.3

6/5! Full Recommend- A great place to consider! I was anxious and embarrassed about letting anyone near my teeth...but, After years of neglect, they needed some mending. Regina dental was near Starbucks so I gave them a shot. I couldn't have been made to feel more comfortable, given the circumstances :). Everyone i met was professional, efficient, kind, and accommodating. I needed a lot of work done in a short period of time, on a limited budget. They came up with a plan and explained it clearly with cool pictures and xrays. I showed up 30 mins late to my 90 min-long appt, accidently knocked over some supplies, and still they speed-toothed me through. It was impressive. I am impressed.

I was extremely disappointed with the service at Grasslands Dental. I felt like I was a "number" and an opportunity to make money - not a patient whom they cared for and wanted to help. I was told the hygienist would show the xrays and photos of my teeth, which did not happen as we "ran out of time," even though my appointment started 10 minutes late (which wasn't a big deal to me). I was then rudely rushed out of the chair and room when my appointment was finished. I was also asked if I was interested in braces and I declined. Later, the dentist pushed braces on me. This seemed as if it was a money making opportunity. I was told I needed braces because my teeth "were a problem aesthetically." No other reasons were ever shared. I felt like this situation could have been handled with much more respect and professionalism. This was the second time I've been to this dental office and both times I've left disappointed with the service and unfriendly atmosphere. Overall, I was disappointed how I was treated. Nothing was explained to me and I was left with a lot of questions. After this experience, I immediately switched dentists.
