I had all my filling fall out. They are about greed. Do not go there. 3 teeth broken, 10 fillings fallen out. Got go through more work. I have a great dental plan. Be warned

Wife went in for an emergency appointment, as she was in an extreme amount of pain. We only booked here because we were away from home and our family dentist. She was xrayed, diagnosed as needing a root canal and pushed out of the office with a prescription for Ibuprofen. No painkillers, no antibiotics and the X-rays were not sufficient for our family doctor to use. Finally made it back to our family doctor; she is on antibiotics, received proper X-rays, and doing much better now. The 2 stars is only because the receptionist was very kind, polite and professional.

If I could rate them ZERO, I would! I called and asked if they are taking on new patients and the secretary said yes. She asked what kind of coverage I have and I said im on Ontario disability (ODSP). She said we are not taking ODSP patients. I said why? She said they have reached their quota for Disability patients. I said, you just told me you were taking on new patients but when I told you I was in ODSP you refused me? Why? She said, the government doesn’t pay their fees or wages so they will not take ODSP patients. I said that’s discrimination! I’m treated differently because I have a disability?!!! That’s GREED down to the core!!! Don’t recommended this place!!! POSTED ON FACEBOOK

I've been a loyal patient at Fourth Ave for years, maybe even close to a decade! I have paid them $$$$ thousands for procedures out of pocket and been insured until a few years ago. I had a major setback at work and have to use ODSP. After years of dental service they cancelled my cleaning appointment last year due to covid. Now they told me policy suddenly changed and they no longer accept ODSP for my cleaning, regardless if I can pay for extra services in cash! I'm sorry to say this but it seems like a cash grab to me. Used to be a place I would recommend, but clearly it's only about the money not quality service or client experience. Beware!

If the was zero stars they would get It staff sucks they don't care if your in pain they did a root canal in 2010 that caused my sinus to pop and had to go for emergency surgery in Hamilton to repair the sinus

Aweful service, was charged 75$ for a doctor to look at my teeth for 3 minutes, then an additional 50$ for an xray then they said it would be 300$ per tooth extraction. ????? those prices are ridiculous

I went there today for what i was told would be a much needed root canal and was given enough time to get what i needed done so i was told this morning when i called to make sure i was getting what i needed done as i have 8 kids one being 2 weeks old and in enough pain to make it hard to function and this dr comes in and tells me he wont fix my tooth so waste my time away from my children for him to get paid for literal 5 min appointment.. Worst service Ever!!

Excellent service. Everything was explained to me in advance. The dentist (Dr. Wallace Truong) was very friendly and explained exactly what my dental issue involved as well as gave me a very forthright and honest set of alternatives for my consideration. I also appreciated that. Cost for the service was exactly as I had been advised. I definitively recommend this clinic and Dr. Truong for all your dental services.

I'd give less if possible. Very unprofessional, lost our paperwork. Let my daughter walk out with an infection and no prescription. Tired to go to a different dentist and the office would not send the x-rays properly. Took a picture of the x-rays with a phone from the computer screen and made it almost impossible to see accurate details. I PAID for the x-rays, I should have full access to them. Save yourself the hefty bill and a headache, go elsewhere.

I frequent fourth ave dental clinic. Over the past few years I’ve had cleaning and fillings done. My experience has been great with the hygiene and dental staff. My 7 year also had his tooth extracted by Dr. Siddiqui and he made sure that my son was comfortable.

I highly recommend this dentist. They are very good at all dental work, covered by different insurance companies and are very accompanying with appointment times-evening appointments available. I truly no longer fear going to see the dentist.

Charged me 50.00 because my son (4 years old) was vomiting.... I called to reschedule at 2 am and once the office was open they said I have to give 2 days notice...when i asked if they wanted me to bring my vomiting child in..I was told no... so....I'm confused on how I would know my son would magically get sick.... when he fine 2 days before hand... ALSO told me all doctors offices do this... ( I worked for a doctor and grew up with family in the medical field) there are ALWAYS ALWAYS acceptions especially when it comes to children. Nice try guys I will never bring my son back here again.

I would like to thank Dr. Siddiqui again for taking care of my emergency examination. Now I feel so much better.. free from a tooth pain. Last 2 weeks were Hell to me. I need root canal done eventually but until then he helped me for get rid of infection as much as he can with antibiotics. He’s fantastic!! Reception was busy because of covid-19, they’re doing their best and sanitizing everybody. Upon your arrival they’ll come out and guide you. Thanks everyone :)

Been coming here for years, used to love it, the staff USED to be amazing. That has changed and gone down hill. Made three appointment specifically stated the way they needed to be scheduled. When they called me a week prior to the appointments I confirmed that the schedule and times had not changed, they said no. Arrived for appointments to find out they changed them and messed them up. I don't know who did it behind the desk but the fact that instead of letting me know prior to you wait until I'm here and say oh we will just do this (a suggestions of which would not work or be plausible in the situation) is unacceptable.

Came here as a second option after Aura Dental explained to me it accepted all types of medical coverage except First Nations Health Coverage. I booked in and made an appointment. Upon arriving I couldn't help but notice how small and dirty it was compared to Aura as well as my normal Dental office in Saskatoon (All Smiles is top notch in Saskatoon). I got x rays and hesitantly scheduled to return for an extraction. Whden I returned thre second time I was left sitting in the tiny waiting room with no greeting nor explanation for roughly 20 minutes. I was then placed in a room with a tv playing for another 20-30 mins with no explanation aside from I'd see the dentist soon. I didn't. Some foreign lady came next to take my blood pressure, at no time telling me what was happening next. I asked for gas as I'm having a panic attack at this point but haven't had a chance to ask anyone for something as I've seen no one for longer than 10 second increments. She tells me nothing when I ask her for some gas as I usually get it immediately at All Smiles in Saskatoon. She leaves the room and roughly 15 minutes later the dentist enters and tells me he doesn't offer gas at his dental clinic and it's because dental procedures don't actually require it. It's unnecessary according to him. He offers to rip my tooth out "slower" through a smug smirk. I told him the experience I was having and he went blank expressioned. I asked him if he can recommend a clinic in Regina that can replicate the experience I'm used to at my regular dental office and he removes the drool skirt around my neck and motions for me to leave. I did. I won't ever return. I also won't ever recommend a shoddy practice such as this one. Anyone who owns a business should care about their practice as well as clients a lot more than this one. 0 stars.

Was booked with Debbie that I requested. But they put me with a young girl Rude that said what does it matter if you cant remember her name. Rude and unprofessional. JEN THE OFFICE MANAGER made things worse. Mocked and screamed AT. wanted to talk to Dr Joshawa but they won't let me wonder why.

I can’t recommend Dr. Wallace Truong and 4th Avenue Dental enough. The staff are great: friendly, courteous and helpful. Dr. Wallace is the best, bar none. I can unequivocally say that he’s the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Great guy, super knowledgeable, and always has his patients’ best interests at heart. What more could you or your teeth ask for?

My experience in the couple of times I have been here is mostly positive........ The only two things I really have an issue with,is with the hygienists being less than gentle,and make you feel bad or guilty for plaque and tartar buildup, especially when I'm only covered annually and have crowding in the bottom teeth. Everything thing else is fine.

I went in last minute to remove a troublesome wisdom tooth. They squeezed me in on a Sunday... They ended up taking both my wisdom teeth out to get those over with. Assistant was super friendly and Dr Regehr did a wonderful job. I was in and out in an hour. Very happy with their accommodation and work given I was away from my usual dentist and a bit nervous.

I went in for a surgical extraction. Dr. Ammar Taimish was the Doctor that took care of it. I actually fainted before they did any work because I was so nervous. They handled it very professionally and made sure I was comfortable before proceeding. His assistant also did a very good job at keeping me calm. Dr. Ammar Taimish and his dental assistant have a very well rounded sense of humor so it helped me through the extraction. Dr. Ammar Taimish and his assistant get to know you as a patient, actively listens to your needs and educates/ explains things properly. Overall, I am thankful because they made it a very calming experience.

Long story short, I have not been to a dental clinic for many years- I was scared, nervous and would rely on over the counter meds for tooth problems. After the pain I endured this time I finally went into a dental clinic(after 12 years). Walking in i was nervous, self conscious and overall scared not to lie. The staff, and everyone at this facility went above and beyond to help me understand what work I would need to fix my teeth. They promptly answered any questions I had, and they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. This place is simply amazing and I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thanks again. -Jordan stone.

My son had a filling done here and it chipped. It did not seem to bad, so when I was told it was going to be a 200.00 visit I asked if the dentist could take a visual look to see the severity of this 'chip' and perhaps it was something that could be held off a couple days and have it fixed when I had the extra cash. I was told that it would cost me 75.00 just to have the dentist take a quick peek at the damage and identify if the damage should be addressed at that moment or if it could wait a couple days. 75.00 is outrageous. I was told it would be 75.00 with or without an xray. All I wanted to know is if this tiny chip that came out of the filling THEY put in needed to be fixed immediately or not. The dentist would have only had to of looked inside his mouth for a split second to see the chip and give me her opinion. I have gone to 4th Avenue dental for the last 3-4 years and have always had great service. They have messed up a couple times with our dental work but I always went back cause they made it right . I am very displeased with how they handled me and my issue. Very pissed actually to say the least.

Heildi was not helpful. She said her opinion was that of all the dental team that it’s not there policy to take ODSP dental cards. But they actually DO have an obligation to honour it. The Ontario government pays for it!! It’s not a handout!! I have never felt such disappointment towards how DISABLED means no oral health care for you, even though I get a dental card every month.????

My family has been going to Fourth Avenue Dental for several years now for all our dental work and have had nothing but positive experience each time. Right from appointment booking, follow ups , hygiene to root canals and major restorative work, we have always got very good care here. All the staff and doctors are knowledgeable, friendly and proficient in their work - and also very accommodating in appointment scheduling :) Dr Joshua, who has been our primary dentist for years, as well as the other doctors including Dr Siddiqui have provided us with the best dental care. Kudos to the amazing team here for the great care you provide!

The newest oral surgeon, De. B... ruined my experience there. Cancelled my surgery, and after 10+ years at this location, I may never return for any of my dental needs. Respect toward your patients should be a priority, especially for a person who is about to pay you over 3Gs for one tooth. I would save your time and money if you're looking for a compassionate team with thorough follow through. Left me feeling insecure, anxious, and embarrassed after being rude in front of other patients, my kid, and the reception. Of course, he was nice as pie until I booked the surgery. Which was a hassle of it's own. They lost my appointment for the first surgery date, took me 4 unreturned calls before I had to go in and book the surgery and at the consult i wasnt provided with instructions for prep which I was inquiring about when he was rude to me.

it's not the best, its like an assembly line and they don't really care about you. They just want you in and out and they want to make top dollar. Plus they make mistakes and never have the '"time" to fix it, they just keep scheduling you back in and they can't get it right. I'll have to go to another place.

Went in to 4th ave dental for a routine cleaning. Hygienist gloved up, and then proceeded to pass me the filthy remote before putting her fingers in my mouth. Once she was cleaning, she spent more time stabbing my gums than cleaning my teeth, and I had to pull away when she stuck her fingers up my nose. When she was flossing she was jamming the gums up instead of flossing between the tooth and gums. Also when we called to book for two people to come together, we assumed both would be in at the same time, not one after the other. Some consideration for patients time and efforts would be appreciated. Not impressed, and we will not be returning.

Stay away. The dentist here did not prescribe my child anything for an infected tooth. On top of that when we went elsewhere, the office did not forward the x-rays they took a picture of them and faxed it.
