I'd been shopping around for a dentist since moving here. Vista had great reviews so tried them. Couldn't be happier so far! All the administrators are wonderful, friendly, helpful in every way. My hygienist Kat was amazing and it was probably the least uncomfortable cleaning I've every had done. Dr. Aitken was professional and friendly, and explained everything very clearly—without patronizing. At no time did I feel pressured to get work done; their ethos seems to be 'we want you to have healthy teeth but we don't want to bankrupt you, either'. Overall, just a very positive experience.

The fillings I had completed by Dr. Aitken were the first that I did not feel any pain, I was actually surprised (at age 32!) that there should not be pain with this procedure. Everyone in the office are friendly and happy. They treat everyone like a person and not just a number. All of my kids love going and my youngest gets so excited about the dentist and always making up reasons as to why he needs to go. They have made going to the dentist something that is no longer something to dread. I recommend this dentist office to everyone that I talk to.

I switched at the suggestion of more than one person. I was tired of the place o was attending going higher priced than the suggested fee guide (with their response to my concern being “it is suggested, not mandatory”.). This place treats their clientele very well without gouging our pockets. Little bonus perks were the mild massage available in the chair while getting hygiene DJ e and then a baked cookie or bottle of water to go at the end of the visit. No regrets on making this switch!

Dr. Aitken and his team are AMAZING. They really care about their patients and will do everything they can for you! I've been going to Dr. Aitken for the last four years for multiple treatments, from wisdom teeth removal, to a dozen filling's, a root canal and just very recently I got crowns on my two front teeth. My kids love it here, they are one of the best clinics in Red Deer, clean, precise, and even my child with a fear of needles had a good experience with Dr. Aitken. An absolute joy to bring the family here! Recently had some issues with an old tooth and Dr. Aitken helped me set up an affordable, and reasonable treatment plan. Emergency checkup due to severe (indescribable) tooth pain, then root canal the next day. Diagnosis was spot on with the root canal going very smooth leaving me not even being able to tell when the freezing left. Prior to this visit I've had excellent Dental care so as this was my first visit it sure was a nice and welcome suprise. Not going anywhere else anytime soon. Billing was VERY fair as well.

I am a new patient to Vista Dental Care. I have to say the staff there has been amazing. My first visit turned up some more serious issues and Dr. Aiken referred me right away to see a specialist. After completing those visits, my next appointment with Vista went just as well as the first. I have been quite disappointed in the past with dentists. I am not sure how these issues were missed with previous dentists but I am very happy Dr. Aiken recognized them and took proper steps to get them resolved. The reception staff were excellent as were the hygienists. Overall an excellent experience. Thank you!!

Sent my wife to my dentist and she did not have a good experience. She went on the hunt for a great dentist and found Vista Dental. One visit and she was hooked. She suggested I give them a visit, I did, I will never go anywhere else. The staff is amazing, super friendly, very helpful. Dr. Aitken is the best dentist I have met. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this place. For the first time in my life I actually look forward going to the dentist. The cleanings are thorough and gentle, the staff are all absolutely amazing and super accommodating, Dr. Aitken is personable, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. I have been to dozens of Dental office's hoping to find one that would leave me comfortable enough to trust them with a cosmetic procedure on my front tooth that had a root canal done and after 10 years of searching I finally found it. I recommend Vista, if your anxious about getting your teeth removed, youll think they just started by the time its done, very nice people. They also schedule you in fairly quickly, I didnt even wait a week after scheduling and actually got my x-rays done the same day I called.

Like most people I don't overly enjoy trips to the dentist, and I rarely post reviews, on anything - but in this case I felt the need to share. Hands down, Vista Dental Care has been the best dental experience in my life. The lovely ladies at the reception desk have always been very helpful and great to work with, the Dental Hygienist was the best that I have ever had (I'm 62 yrs old, so do the math) and Dr. Aitken is by far the most efficient dentist that I have ever visited. I get in within just a few minutes of arriving, one of the friendly Dental Assistants gets me settled into a chair, and before I know it I am good to go until the next visit! From cleaning my teeth, old mercury fillings being replaced, and a root canal, everything went as smooth as silk, and pain free! I admit that while I still don't exactly love trips to the dentist, after several visits to Vista Dental I have no plans on ever trying a different dentist for any issue that I may have with my teeth. Hence the 5 star rating for Dr. Aitken and his staff. A Big Thank You from myself & my wife!

Great dentist as well as all the staff. They employ up to date equipment including equipment to make crowns on site while you wait. No second visit required to put in your new crown. I had a crown put in just over a year ago and at the time he suggested doing a root canal on the tooth first as there were additional issues with the tooth. I said no to the root canal (figured it might be OK with antibiotics to knock down the infection - save a few bucks as well) but about a year later, it wasn't OK. Wound up doing the root canal (which wrecks the nearly new crown) and then he replaced the crown AT NO CHARGE!!! Awesome!! If you're looking for a dentist go here. You won"t be disappointed.

I recently switched to Vista Dental and I’m so happy I did! All the staff are so welcoming and helpful from the front end/receptionists to the hygienists, assistants, and of course Dr. Aitken. I got my cleaning and checkup with them and no one made me feel bad for going a little longer past my usual cleaning. I also wasn’t getting procedures or suggestions forced on me like I’ve had at other dentists. I also recently got my 3 wisdom teeth removed and was “awake” for the procedure. Not only was I comfortable the whole time but I felt no pain or discomfort of any kind during. They also had someone text my number the next day after the removal to check how I was doing and if I had any questions. Glad I made the switch to Vista :)

This was my first visit to Vista Dental. I am never comfortable trying new places but my experience here from when I first stepped in the door until I walked out was excellent!! Receptionist was very friendly and paperwork was very simple and straight forward. Dental assistant was very pleasant, efficient and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Aitken spent more time on my teeth this checkup than I have had in a long time. He was very thorough with the exam, explained what needed to be explained and answered all my questions!! He was in no rush at all to get me out of there and move on to the next patient. I felt very comfortable through the entire visit. I even left with a fresh baked cookie :) As far as going to the dentist goes it was an excellent experience!!

He answers any questions I have about the process and makes sure to explain afterwards what was done, he is quick to address any concerns and if there is anything potential to be on the look out for. They are up on technology and use text/email to correspond, which is much appreciated in this fast paced economy. They are quick to get you in as far as booking appointments, and even quicker if it is urgent. They direct bill the insurance and have no issues checking before the procedure to make sure you are covered. 10/10 would recommend

What can I say that hasn't already been said. Thanks to Dr Chad and all the staff at Vista Dental, I am getting better at going to the dentist. They are kind, caring, compassionate and create a safe energetic space. When I say I am nervous and very anxious they don't just scoff it off. They actually listen. I had a crown done today and was in and out in under 2 hours.The crown is made right in the office, no waiting for molds and such. However, aren't crowns suppose to have diamonds and amethyst? ???? I have been so scared of the dentist for years; I have always felt the needle and felt in pain for days afterwards from fillings. My Mom convinced me to go to Dr. Aitkin after refusing to go to a dentist for three years . Even though I embarrassingly had 9 cavities he and his staff were kind and compassionate and I booked my fillings for two sessions. I was terrified. The doctor and his lovely assistant, Amie, were amazing! I barely felt the needle (As a matter of fact I asked him if he had done it yet, to which he answered yes haha) and I had zero pain the next day both visits. It was like no one was even in my mouth. His talent is unsurpassed and his whole staff is simply amazing, accommodating and supportive! They even give you a cookie on your way out! Please don’t wait if you are afraid of dentists; your situation will only get worse and there is no need, Vista Dental Care is there!

Highly recommend this place! The staffs are super nice and friendly! Super great atmosphere! They really do their jobs and it's fantastic.
