I went in for my annual dental cleaning. Lexi Hovind, the Dental Hygienist, did a great and quick job! There were no unexpected 'problems' found or pressure to do any 'exotic' procedures, AND there was no dubious 'Exam Recall' or unnecessary X-rays taken! The spoiler for a perfect score though, was the charge for an additional 1/2 Unit of Scaling which I don't believe was warranted.

Theresa is very knowledgeable and made setting up my first appointments easy and stress free. That was about a year ago, and now I have a smile I'm happy with! He took the time to fully explain my treatment plan (which was/is extensive), and took away a lot of the anxiety I had surrounding my dental health. First off I don't like bashing any company that does it's job but this is how my story goes. 3 months ago I went to bower dental for an abscess constantly getting infected by a bad tooth. They wouldn't get me in for an emergency appointment a week or so in advance so I wouldn't pay 200$ for a visit. They booked me for 3 months later. Finally the pain because too bad i bit the 200$ bullet. I have stomach ulcers which make me vomit a lot plus just had 18 months of pregnancy back to back with morning sickness all the way through so my teeth were bad to say the least. The whole time with my appointment I was being treated like a child that didn't know how to brush etc even with them knowing my history of my stomach acid wearing away my enamel. I even went in telling them I was already extremely ashamed of my teeth and sensitive to the issue. I told them the pain was so bad I'd rather be giving birth to my children all over again. Queue them booking me 3 weeks away for a root canal. Finally I decide to go to Saby dental. I explain my problems and that I cannot deal with the pain. The staff booked me in the same day (no emergency fee) and I was looked at. Talked to like an adult and not belittled for how bad my teeth were. I left with a root canal booked for a week later. Then a few hours later the dentist calls me (not the staff but him) and asks me if he can re book me for 8am the next day! Heck Yeah! He moved around his appointments for me knowing how dire my situation is. Also the staff helped me go through the cost and is giving me 90 days to pay for what my insurance won't cover! As a mother of a full family of 4 this is life changing! I won't have to worry about taking all of our savings just to get my pain taken care of. Thank You! You're amazing!

I have been to Saby Dental for two years, and I have done the root canal, crown, and a lot of treatments. Every time I went there, I was impressed by what Dr. Sandhu has done. He did everything professionally, confidently, fluently, and gently. He is an excellent dentist you can trust, and so knowledgeable in all fields of dentistry. Lisa is the best hygienist I have ever met. I remember the first time I did scaling with her, the result was super amazing. My teeth have never been that white like that's not mine. After a few months later, it's still very clean and I am still satisfied. She is a magician who makes magic on my teeth and makes me feel so good. I was not excited about visiting the dentists but that all changed after a friend mentioned that I should visit a local dentist in Red Deer named Dr. Jas Sandhu. My attitude towards the dentist since has changed. The Doctor treats you like family and is really kind. I needed two implants that I have been putting on hold due to my anxiety. Dr. Sandhu spent almost 1 hour just explaining to me what the treatment would entail and how he is using different technology to help. If you want a good experience, quality care and have any type of anxiety make sure you give them a call. I love my dentist and will have all my family and friends visit him in the future.

I am just a couple of months short of bring 85 years young, so I have seen a lot of dentists in that time. Why it took so many years to finally find the best, I do not know. Dr. Sandhu is the first dentist that is actually "PAIN FREE". His work is beyond compare. One visit he announced that he wouldn't be freezing me. I was expecting to have to be peeled off the ceiling! He did not hurt me one tiny bit! Can you get any better than that? I don't think so! On top of it all, he is knowledgeable and friendly. His staff are very kind and friendly as well. You have a good feeling as soon as you enter his office. His office is immaculate (even before Covid-19). I do miss the shoe polisher at the front door but he has promised to replace it soon! Extremely professional, yet extremely personable, where you can feel they genuinely care about their patients dental needs, presenting all of the options without any pressure, respecting a patients financial/insurance coverage situations, and respecting the patients choices. There is a demonstrated overall effort to keep the office appearances up to date with a comfortable but professional setting, and a genuine effort to have the latest technology and staff training to offer the best service possible.
