I have had poor dental hygiene in the past and was very nervous at my first dentist appointment in many years. I am new to Prince George and had made an appointment at the dental office closest to my house. Boy, was I ever pleasantly surprised! The office is very modern looking and super high-tech. All my paper work was filled out on a computer terminal and the receptionists were very helpful. I was then brought in immediately by the dental hygienist. She was the best part of the visit. I informed her that I was nervous and she did her best to let me know that I didn't need to worry. She wasn't condescending or overly critical. She even did her best to alleviate my discomfort during the scalping process. I can't say enough nice things about her. I believe her name was Jennifer (that's what the plaques on the wall said anyway). The dentist was gentle and very pleasant as well. I have to come back to get more work done but I'm not nervous at all! Superb dental team. One down side: From my limited experience it was a bit on the pricey end. They have to pay for all that fancy equipment somehow! If you can afford it/have good insurance I *highly* recommend Keystone Dental Centre.

His team of assistants get you all cozy and are friendly and helpful too, making the whole dental experience comfortable. The dental hygienist was gentle and thorough. She didn't leave me feeling as if she had abused my gums with the floss or the clean tools. I appreciated your work. The staff are helpful and professional which makes the reception area welcoming. The facility is beautiful and there's Lots of parking. Highly recommend

Great experience at Keystone dental. It was my kids first cleaning ever. They were nervous going in but they loved it. Our hygienist was great with kids and extremely accommodating. The dentist was friendly, informative and thorough. The receptionist was friendly and quickly answered my insurance questions. Looking forward to going back.

I have always enjoyed coming in for my exams and cleanings. They've been thorough and explain processes in detail. My only issue has started in the last couple of years. I have found myself receiving many phone calls reminding me that I'm due for an exam and cleaning. After a few, I finally told the receptionist that I was unable to come in for a while and that I'd contact them when I was able. Unfortunately they must have misunderstood or disregarded that I'd call them as they still call me regularly.

I was referred to this dentist because I needed a microscopic root canal as a canal had calcified. Although a referral was sent and a call was made by the referring dentist office and I spoke to the receptionist at least twice prior it wasn’t til I was in the dental chair and had been given an unnecessary X-ray that I was told that the dentist was NOT an endodontic dentist and couldn’t do the work. It seems unethical that I should be obligated to pay for an appointment that was made, in spite of the receptionist being well informed of the nature of my needs. It was clearly stated and obvious this procedure was not possible at this office. Plus I traveled from Quesnel to Prince George for the appointment. Also to anyone who should need this kind of work done there is only a monthly Endontic dentist that travels up from the Coast to do such work.

Extremely professional, from the dentist to the front desk. Had 10 cavities drilled with minimal inconvenience. Knowledgeable and practical advice given on how to avoid acid erosion (cause of this unexpected spat of decay). As pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. Excellent staff.

They’re wonderful. If you’re afraid of the dentist let them know. They’ll work through it with you. The actual work they do is great but what has been most important for me is that they were so kind and patient with my fearful reactions. Now I go in to see them with no panic or anxiety. Game changer!

Worse dentist I have ever experienced. After getting my fillings in. My bite was totally off and I went in 3 times to correct my bite which I believe was still not correct. As I am still having extreme jaw pain. He gave me anti-inflammatory and t3’s that still didn’t help. I’ve never experienced this pain after going to a dentist. Dr Gordon seemed to have no clue how to help me and his only conclusion was that I must grind my teeth. If this was the case I would have been doing so my whole life and I have never had a dentist note that prior or subsequently since having others look at me.

The hygienists and dentist are great, however I’ve had 3 experiences with the receptionist and they’ve all unfortunately been negative, once she gave me a total it ended up being over $100 more, when I asked why the difference she was rude and just told me that it can change, it would be nice if she would of told me that it was only approximate. Another time she had booked me an appointment, when I got there I needed to rebook another appointment to get done what she knew needed doing and she was rude again. The dentist rebooked me and on the way out she rudely informed me that she would call and let me know if I could actually come in at that time as she would have to see. Needless to say it seems slightly unorganized...
