Hi. My name is Brenda Paxton. I was at the Family Dental Care today for a quick check up. I had not been able to get there in time. They saw me immediately. I was so impressed in their compassion for a senior citizen. Discussed payment plan. Showed me what my teeth were doing. Explained my bite guard. Ways of saving money. I've been going here for over 4 years and often will tell other people to go there. The girls there are fantastic. I love the way they are so determined to treat you with so much care

Got a filling, they tested how much the numbing was working by touching something cold to the numb tooth. Could still feel the cold so they added more numbing. The needle was unpleasant but needles always suck, and it was over quickly. Efficient work on the filling as well.

The family dental care specialty office goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and cared for! I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday with Dr. Samji and his team and couldn’t be happier with the treatment they provided me. He took the time to introduce himself to me before hand, and went over in depth my treatment with me. Bree and Jru the receptionists were welcoming and kind and made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped in the door. They truly care for their patients here and it shows! 10/10 highly recommend this Speciality office to anyone with wisdom teeth or oral surgery! :)

I have had extremes in dentistry and the people I've seen who practice. I am a 59 year old woman and because of the many unskilled practitioners I've seen I now have severe, reactions to dentists and their tools. (Trauma) I was just at Family dental/ specialty and saw Dr. Debroah Zsabu for a root canal last Friday. I choose to see a specialist so I wouldn't have to deal with unskilled dental practioners. Today is the following Thurs. I phoned on Monday and they were closed. I received a phone call back on Tuesday and talked with the receptionist who is truly compassionate and amazing. I told her what has been happening since early Saturday morning. So much pain throbbing in the tooth that had been worked on. I got the prescription filled Saturday afternoon for antibiotics that was prescribed (thankfully) on Friday after my appt. In case I needed it... we live 2 hours from Prince George, so not an easy jaunt. The pharmacist told me it would be at least 2 days before it started to feel better. I had been taking Extra strength Ibuprophen and tylenol ever 4 hours since Saturday. I do not take anything ever, because of side effects... So today is Thursday evening. I never received a call back from the specialist Deborah Zsabu who performed the root canal. I never received a call back from the office to see how things were going. I am appalled at the After care service of this office after paying $2200 for this procedure. Absolutely not acceptable. Why are they getting away with this????

First, the girls at the front desk make you feel very welcome. My dental hygenist, Nicole, is truly amazing. She's very diligent and professional. She chats cheerfully and it makes me feel relaxed, she explains everything thoroughly, compliments me on my clean mouth LOL all the while being very careful to not hurt me while cleaning my teeth. My dentist, Dr. Sheena, is very knowledgeable and personable. I highly recommend Family Dental Care!

Lindsay, as always, is super friendly and cheery, and extremely gentle - always checking in to make sure I’m doing okay, as well as to make sure I’m comfortable. Always informative as well when it comes to proper brushing and such... Dr Tao is top notch too, and my visits when he has to come in and do a check up are usually quick and painless. The staff as a whole at FDC College Heights are always super friendly and make the experience of going to the dentist a pleasurable one! Highly recommend them to anyone!

Had my wisdom teeth with IV sedation with Dr. Kang today. By far the most painless and quick dental procedure I've ever had. The assistants were amazing and it just felt like taking a nap! Dr Kang was very informative and even gave me his cell phone number in case I needed anything after surgery. Would highly recommend Dr Kang and Family Dental Care Speciality for any oral surgery.

I had orthodontic treatment with Dr. Bharwani and was thoroughly impressed by her! Her chair side manner was so pleasant and she gave me all the options available for my treatment. My teeth turned out fantastic!! My spouse recently saw Dr. Buttar for an endodontic consult. He had nothing but great things to say about the appointment and could tell right away that he wanted Dr. Buttar to do his root canal. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We will also go to this office for anything outside of the services our general dentist provides!

I was able to get in on a cancellation for a much overdue cleaning. They were curious about other health issues I had going on in my face and able to give recommendations on how to improve my sinus help. The best part though...my usual dentist hadfilledsome cavities a few years ago...they caused me pain ever sinceand I had returned to my old dentist repeatedly complaining of which I was told to save for a needed crown. The technology thatFamily Care dental wasable to show me that there was too much filling put in on the top which created too much pressure when I bit down that resulted in my lower filling to break off which then shoots pain back into the upper filling...long story short. With a repair to my lower filling and a shaving on the upper filling, the problem is resolved and I don’t need an unnecessary crown! Friendly, thorough, helpful, And my teeth are so smooth and shiny again too. Thanks family dental!!!!
