I've been a lifelong patient with Welland Smiles and they are awesome! The team has always been friendly, inviting and knowledgable. They've gotten me through braces, extractions, cavities and everything in between, and my teeth are really great now! Dr. Ventresca, Rhonda, the dental hygienists & the others on staff are always happy to answer questions and keep you informed about future appointments. The new facility is clean and modern (Big upgrade from their office on Thorold Road!) with TV's on the ceiling and awesome plants in the front area. I never have to wait too long to get in for my appointments. My entire family still goes here, and I highly recommend you do to!

I've been going here forever. So I am bias. Tessa's hands are like soft angel kisses when she cleans my teeth, but I am good and floss o the reg. Dr. Vestresca makes me feel comfortable and I struggle with anxiety. Rhonda at the front desk makes everything seamless and easy. My kids are 5. They love going. There are tablets with games at the front and they really like the prize bin. But they don't ever dread going. Its not a fight. And as a mom with littles, I think that's the best way to describe the experience here.

We recently moved into the area from the GTA and were recommended to try Smiles- we know why. The staff were SUPER accomodating (with an emergency for my mother), very friendly and exteamly knowledgeable. They are very efficient, organized and effective; utilizing technology (voice to computer speech) for thorough and detailed check-ups and exams. I am extremely pleased with the cleanliness and positive atmosphere Dr. Catherine, Rhonda and the staff uphold. I have switched everyone in the household over to Smiles Dentistry. They also have a super cute "cavity free" display wall for the kiddos- which I'm sure makes the dentist trip a but more fun for them :)

So here is some back story. Many years ago, I went to a dentist downtown welland. To say the least they caused me so many issues. One of them being afraid of the dentist. Fast forward to now, I had a very infected tooth I needed to have pulled. I went here being afraid of the dentist. The minute we came in, we felt welcomed. Every single staff person I spoke to was so friendly and made me feel safe. I have pretty bad anxiety, especially when it comes to the dentist. Dr. Ventresca made me feel safe and well taken care of. It was pricy, but It's worth the money to know im being taken care of properly and also feel safe. Im not not afraid of the dentist and will be returning for a checkup soon. I would 100% recommend Welland Smile Dentistry, especially if you are someone like me, who was afraid and has anxiety. I was constantly checked up on to make sure that I was okay.

The girls in the office made me feel so comfortable about what had to be done that it was done without anaesthetic which is something new for me. Nov. 30 2019 review. I called this place to say I am in pain and need an early appointment as I was feeling pain.They had already done x-ray and determined that the tooth needed to be extracted. It does not take more than 20 minutes to extract a tooth by any competent dentist. They told me that they may see me about three weeks time which is Dec 5th but if someone dropped out they would call me in. When the call came they referred me to some other dentist for frigin Jan. 6th 2020. Seriously? And they were not even sure if the dentist would do my extraction that day. I had to call Brampton two hours away and thank God I got an appointment the same day. Bearing in mind that Welland has a population of 19000 people while Brampton has 500,000. These small towns is hell bent on maintaining the status quo. Even for my wife to get her hair done she was given a three months appointment. We had to go to Brampton. Its the same with the mechanics Just to change a frigin Tyre you have to make a two weeks appointment. Small towns sucks.

Since having my ODSP reinstated I chose Welland Smiles Dentistry as it was recommended through family members. Having had no dental coverage for sometime my dental services were done through Niagara College, which was a blessing. However I suffer with chronic intractable pain and cannot sit for long periods of time that the college requires of their students and patients. With that being said my first appointment with Welland Smiles Dentistry was a very positive experience. I was impressed with the office cleanliness and its state of the art equipment. Rhonda was warm and welcoming, I felt this is where I belong...first impressions are lasting. Mary Louise made me feel comfortable and was not judgmental, especially when I had to discuss my health and current medications. Some issues are difficult to talk about. This was not the case. Then when I met Dr. Ventresca she insisted that I call her Catherine. That's a first for me and I felt very respected and accepted. You rock Catherine!

I found this dental clinic wonderful and they are very professional. Dr. Ventresca went over my x-rays and explained everything to me. The dental hygienist was very pleasant and definitely would recommend anyone to go to Smiles Dentistry on Fitch St., in Welland. The office staff are very friendly and courteous. Due to COVID found they kept everything clean and very careful by taking temperature and asking questions about how you are feeling. I have one recommendation, the clinic I went to near Kingston gave a discount for patients who do not have coverage. Found that very nice. If you haven’t got a dentist I would definitely recommend this one.

We started coming to Welland Smiles Dentistry due to my son having a horrible experience with his previous dentist. He had a HUGE fear of the dentist to the point where he would not walk into the room without mom or dad holding him (he was 7 at the time) It was Dr. Ventresca providing including experience visit after visit that he gained her trust, allowing her to perform multiple x-rays and procedures on his mouth. She found that he had an overbite and from the trust he gained from her he was willing to even attend specialist appointments with the Orthodontist. Vaughn now 10 has jumped leaps and bounds having his mouth aligned with an appliance and now going into the room for his visits by himself no problems no hesitation and walks out with a smile on his face time and time again. This would not have been made possible without the fantastic and genuine care that Dr. Ventresca provides to him. From the moment we walked through the door we just knew that this was the right fit for us. Exceptional services from every member of the team including the amazing receptionist team - I would be lost if it was not for the multiple phone calls to Rhonda and Carrie. We will forever call Welland Smiles Dentistry home - even since moving to Fort Erie the drive is worth it and then some - exceptional care through and through with this team.

Recently registered with this office as a new patient. They did a thorough examination with xrays, photos, etc, then cleaning and filling that fixed my painful tooth. Dr. Ventresca, the hygienists and ladys at the front desk were all every welcoming, friendly and professional. The TVs in the ceiling are a nice touch as a distraction while they do their work.
