Took my kids today for cleaning 5Jan21 and because of a booking “mistake”, kids were not seen by a dentist. Instead, I was offered to book another appointment in 3 months for a dentist to look at their teeth. Kids also said the Hygienist was rougher than our normal person. They decided to switch us to someone new with far less experience without telling us. My son said he thought his gums were bleeding at one point she was so rough. Changing places - clinic has TANKED with new owners. Obviously far more interested in doubling their income than providing proper dental care. So unprofessional. Update: Prompted by my google review (not email or conversation with the office yesterday), Hannah, Office Manager contacted me this morning 6Jan21 to argue about what had happened. She offered no apologies or resolution - apart from a very snarky "what resolution are you looking for"? I confirmed Kim, Hygienist was a 'recent grad' so I do not appreciate being switched from our regular, well-experienced Hygienist to someone just out of school. Hannah needs a lesson on how to de-escalate a situation rather than calling to argue and blame old owners for booking. Funny how we NEVER had any issues (booking or otherwise) in the past and with change of ownership, everything goes downhill. Good luck - don't think you'll be in business very long with this poor approach to not only dental hygiene but also, customer service.

I've been going here for 30 years but the new ownership has failed to maintain a good balance of value for cost. $200 for 40 min cleaning (no x-ray) and a mediocre clean at that. Overall I feel the place has slipped.

I contacted Rose city dental as I had tooth pain that was really bad. I had never been there before and they got me in same day to see what needed to be done. I then went back for treatment. Dr. Mudhar is absolutely amazing. I have terrible fear of the dentist and although I was scared he was extremely empathetic and gentle. He even went out of the way to make sure I knew if it was to much that day we could continue another day. The staff are all very kind and helpful. The office is extremely clean and updated. And an added bonus they bill directly so I didn't have to pay and then submit to my insurance. I will be booking my family in with Dr. Mudhar for any dental work that needs to be done.

I have been going this dental office for approximately 20 years and I am truly shocked by some of the poor reviews listed here. My experiences have always been pleasant and I always leave feeling as though my needs were met, or exceeded. Over the years, I have had a number of hygienists and dentists who have all been extremely professional, friendly, and polite. Furthermore, my hygienists have all been gentle and mindful of any potential discomforts or pains. I have never had any issues with staff being rude or unprofessional, and I have never had an appointment cancelled due to a missed courtesy call. Also, I have been late on occasion; yet, I have never been lectured about my punctuality. In sum, I am very satisfied with the service and I have no intention or desire to go elsewhere.

I'm a new patient to this office and could not be more impressed bytheir staff and premises. I've seen Hygienist Ashley 3 times now, and she is always so gentle, helpful and friendly. Front desk staff are very prompt in responding to appointment requests and always greet you when you arrive. They are undergoing renovations, but the office is always clean and never noisy. They have updated technology and it was very helpful when the dentist was explaining some of the problem areas at my last appointment. Highly recommend this office for all of your dental needs.

The dentists are gentle and never fail to answer any questions you’ve got. The assistants are always willing to lend a helping hand and it’s evident they all work very well together as a team. She asked me to write a review for her, since she is "technologically challenged". -The office is clean and beautifully renovated. The ladies at the front desk are welcoming and make you feel at home. - Ashley (hygienist) has alleviated her dental anxiety, and she looks forward to seeing her. She has a gentle touch and explains everything- very knowledgeable and kind! Her cleanings are very thorough. - dentist (Dr. Mudhar) is warm and makes you feel comfortable. One of the best dental offices I’ve been too! Would 100% would recommend to anyone looking for a new office in the Niagara region. This place is immaculate, the staff are both knowledgeable and pleasant, patient and willing to always work around your schedule and needs and the pricing Is very reasonable. First I must mention when I walked in I felt very safe as they practice Covid-19 protocols in very high standards, reception staff is friendly and welcoming, Very clean office with state of art updates with new Technology and equipment. Dr Mudhar is extremely knowledgeable and kind, he patiently explained all my questions step by step prior to my procedure without rushing. Hygienist and assisting staff are very efficient and gentle. By far Rose City Dental centre is the best in Niagara Region. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for good dental care. I had a fantastic experience beginning to end... Anna preformed my cleaning she was great ! gentle and thural in cleaning my teeth.I feel like the time she spent on my appointment to be very accurate. Very sad that this office has declined since new dentists have arrived. Receptionist have insanely horrible policies on courtesy calls and rebooking. Never get the same hygienist and the dentist sees you for all of 30 seconds before charging a pretty dime for their services...

VERY unprofessional office. My parents have been going there for years, but not any more. Due to their unprofessional behaviour on multiple visits now, they are losing both of my parents, myself and my 5 children as patients (as well as their dad who no longer has any interest in making them his dentist either). That's NINE patients that are being lost because they want to play immature, unprofessional games. 1) They really aren't very good with kids. They also take MULTIPLE appointments to do what other dentists get done in half the visits, and are very expensive compared to others. They mainly just refer you to a children's dentist if the kids are not teens. But the problem is not the dentist, it's his desk help. 2)They have a "courtesy call" policy that if you don't answer their "courtesy" call, they CANCEL your appointment. Unbeknownst to me, my father had actually told them (before I did) that they must not know the meaning of the word "courtesy" if that is their policy. My father never has an unkind word to say to or about anyone or anything, but he told me that day that we should probably all find someone else to go to, as they have too much attitude. Speaking up about their ridiculous "courtesy" call policy put a target on my back, as there has been no peace ever since. This target is the only reason we feel forced to find a new dentist. How pathetic. 3) Be prepared to WAIT. Having 5 kids, we have several appointments to go to for multiple weeks at a time. We had to wait so long a few times IN A ROW, that I intentionally went NOT EVEN 5 minutes after appointment time ONE DAY, and had to listen to a big, attitude filled lecture on punctuality. LOL!!! 4) Be prepared to get slandered if they are feeling extra childish that day, as there is no privacy or confidentiality (if that's important to you). It's not to me, my kids and I have no big secrets lol. MY own father went in to take one of my kids to their appointment one day, and they complained to him about how hard it is to make contact with me and get their "courtesy" call answered. He told me they had such attitude about it that he didn't know what to say, as he said it was none of his business anyway lol. He just said that he didn't know you had to call back a "courtesy" call either. Then my kids' dad dropped them off at the dentist one day, and had to listen to attitude filled comments about how "when their mother takes them they are "often late". LOL!!!!!! First of all, he didn't ask or care, they just enjoy mouthing off about nothing for no reason, which is the problem. I think they are assuming that him and I are not together, thinking perhaps they can "hurt" me by giving their dad ammunition against me. I don't know, but it's quite comical considering it accomplished the opposite. He knew about the waiting the kids and I had been put through, and was already aware that I PURPOSELY went 3 or 4 minutes late ONE time. He told me then that with them being liars and having attitude problems, we need to look for a new dentist. If you still decide to go here, that's fine, but good luck! You'll need it.
