Approximately 2-3 years ago I came to Canal City Dental for wisdom teeth extraction. Upon 1-2 years later after the surgery I was left with fragments of the broken teeth that were left inside. I was left with pain, nerve damage and loss of feeling in the effected area where the extraction was done. I wasn't very pleased with the experience due to the fact that the surgeon was getting over a cold during the surgery and left me with a sinus cold to recover with as well. I went to a more qualified dental office for my issues. X-Rays were done and the fragments of broken teeth appeared. After sending over the X-Rays to Canal City Dental they asked for me to come back to have another surgery to fix their mistakes. I wasn't comfortable having them work on me again. I preceded by asking if they would pay for their mistakes to be fixed by a different dental office. They harshly/rudely said they wouldn't pay to fix their mistakes and that I had to go back to them even though I had already explained to them that I was uncomfortable going back. I later had a second surgery to fix Canal City Dental's botched practice at a different more qualified Dental Office. I had to pay for the second surgery out of pocket putting myself in a financial hardship... I don't know if this was a rare situation or how often something like this happens but the office should have accepted my feelings and honored their work by negotiating with me and making it right. I do not recommend Canal City Dental.

They will harass you constantly to go in for appointments, they dont take "no" for an answer, and will hound you with questions as to why you cant make it. They expect you to be on time for your appointments, but will make you wait a while, and will reschedule you at a last minutes notice, but will get mad at you if you do it. Most of the receptionist are extremely rude and pushy, especially the older ones and the foreign ones. They're also very disorganized. Reply: No, you were dis-organized long before covid. In fact, there were several instances where you tried to book me in for appointments that I nor my spouse had made, and told me of them the day of, hounding me about ways for me to come in. And after todays events, I want no further business with you.

Went in for the first checkup in about a decade. I knew I needed wisdom teeth pulled and feared the worst. They were very professional and gentle.. Like no gas or anything and I didnt believe they really pulled a wisdom tooth. Had to actually see the tooth to believe it was out. Healed very quickly too. Highly recommended.

They are conveniently located and have free parking. The receptionists were also really nice and helpful. However, overall my experience wasn't great. It could have just been from it being an off day but I had to wait a long time for my appointment, and they were very disorganized. I am also someone who is anxious about being at the dentist, I told them that, and they did very little to ease my anxiety. Talking more at me, then to me, which just made me more uncomfortable. They cleaned my teeth then had me wait another half an hour before I saw the dentist. There were also various technical issues that lengthened the whole process. I understand that COVID changes things and makes it a little harder, however my experience makes me unsure if I will go back there.

Always a friendly staff that make you feel important. They explain procedures and put your mind at ease for surgeries that you may need. Great with children as well. Love that they are open on Saturdays. Great care here.

The staff are very accomodating and right away I felt very welcome and valued as a patient. The dentist was very friendly and took the time to listen and make a game plan right away to save my smile. I had a few questions, and they were all addressed and clearly explained; I even learned a few things about cavities and my oral health that I didn't know about before. The most important part is that the fillings I received here were on my front teeth, and they're phenomenal--you would have no idea that there were any fillings to begin with, which was what I was worried about prior to finding a dentist that could help. Thank you so much for helping me! Will definitely return.

Only dentist office all go to, they literally take me in everytime I have a emergency as soon as I call my dental health could be better so I have issues time to time and they always make sure im all set and have no pain everytime I ask for help they deliver. Never had complications with my teeth after being here always felt like a million dollars after I left. And even if I did they always told me they would take me in right away . It's super rare to get a walk in as well and iv done it multiple times with a 10/10 pain and they took me in right away. There amazing here and all never go to another dentist ever only place I trust cause they do 100% great job . I will always stay loyalty to this dental office.

"had to get" fillings several times with issues here and issues there and issues regarding my insurance not paying enough also more issues with there anisthetic not working went to the dentist at the mall with much better results

When I went in after they told me to get a new dentist kelly prosisted to try and argue with me when I went in I was very polite with my three children the lady at the front desk proceeded to be extremely rude to me and made me so uncomfortable I had to take my son off the dentist chair and leave because all the ladys then proceeded to gang up on me infront of my three children and kept argueing after I said 3 times I am not argueing with you infront of my kids. Now I've asked for the the owners number of the dental office and they are refusing to give me the number.

Worst people/service ever, Kelly Flockhart the so called "Office Manager" is one of the worst people I have ever met, she is rude, condescending, lacks compassion and is down right nasty. I asked for her managers information and she resisted to provide it. She hung up on me stating hat I was swearing at her when I would never swear at anyone, she was cutting me off would not allow me to speak and didn't care about what I had to say. I also want to point out that the only review done on this dentists office on their website is done by Kelly their office manager, that says it all! So they have a 5 star rating on their website but that's only according to Kelly! The work done was mediocre, I have had pain since and will have to pay for another MORE qualified dentist to fix their mistakes.. also when I received the bill it was $200 more then I was quoted putting my family into a financial hardship that was not expected. I would never recommend going to this dentist office.

My daughter and I go to this dental office the staff is so friendly and helpful ! They are so accommodating with appointment times! I love that the are open 6 days a week and open later. My previous dentist was barley ever open.

I think this office is great! They offer convenient times, including Saturdays, FREE parking, the staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating and the clinical team is patient and gentle! They even give you a large assortment of coffees and teas while you wait! :-)) 5 Star Plus

I have been going to this place for a few years now and I just can't take it anymore...the manager is so rude and condescending towards me and my family and the staff in general is really awful and unprofessional. Also let me not forget how dismissive the front desk is! I remember this one time i was going there for an appointment and the dental assistant smelt like such heavy smoke I could barely get through it! PLEASE save yourself the trouble and DO NOT come here, if i could give this 0 stars I would!

I have been coming hear for years and have been treated great ! Myself i have fears of the dentist all my life and they make me feel very comfortable and safe. Kelly and Julie and the rest of the staff are very professional . Dr. Motruk is my dentist and he is a very gentleman and does great work. Recently i had medical problems and my teeth have been breaking away and knew i needed help. I called Kelly and and said i need help !!!! She arranged a appointment with the denturist MIke ,, he is such great man .he does excellent denture work Within 6 weeks i had a smile again that i am proud to open my mouth as before i was ashamed. I had a complete upper denture and a partial for the bottom So i recommend Canal City Dental to any one looking for a Dentist or a Denturist and you will be happy and pain free again. Wonderful dental office! Everyone works so well with eachother here! I am always greeted by Kelly with a big smile and she is always so sweet and helpful. As a senior citizen without any dental insurance I found them really helpful and reasonable. The receptionists and office manager were quick to help me with all my questions! I had a broken tooth and Heidi booked me in right away! Dr. Moldovan was so gentle and fast! Great job!

Canal city dental is one of the best dental facilities here in welland. They have been absolutely amazing with my family. My kids always look forward to going to the dentist. They go above and beyond, that extra mile. I highly highly recommend them. You guys are amazing. The best of the best ❤️

As a single mom with three kids, I lack time... and money! lol. I find the staff at Canal City Dental super amazing. I have high anxiety when it comes to the dentist and they have helped me so many times to not pass that on to my kids. When we walk in, they make the kids feel super comfortable and it gives me peace knowing my kids don't have the same fears I have. I totally owe that to them. The evening and Saturday appointments are a God send, since I work full time and can't miss any work. They have worked with me when it comes to paying also. Wouldn't go anywhere else

Went to get my wisdom teeth removed and the dentist told me I should have them all removed at the same time in my first appointment but when I came for my second appointment they had only booked me for enough time to remove one and the dentist froze the WRONG TOOTH so he then removed the top tooth and the bottom tooth on one side then proceeded to ask the dental assistant if he should remove all four because they came out fast and she said “no I want to go home”. As terrible as that experience was the woman working at the desk was very nice and did all she could to help with the cost.

Great experience at the dentist! I don't know what people are talking about it being bad! The team is so helpful and knowledgeable and the dentists are all kind and gentle! Dr. Moldovan has been there for over 18 years as the main dentist! They provide gas and sedation and help with insurance and payments! So great! 5+ star!
