I was always terrified of dentists until someone recommended Dr. Rachid. I have been going there for at least 12 years. My kids are patients of his as well and they don't put up a fight to go. They're all about saving your teeth rather than extracting. Thank you to all the staff for working as a team and making us feel welcome

I used to go to Lincoln dental and I always thought they were a good dental place well I called them one day to get my tooth checked and they wanted me to wait 3 weeks so I called Besma family dental instead. They took me right away where very friendly and helpful. I went back yesterday to have a tooth pulled they weren't able to pull because the dentist didn't want to cause me any pain and is sending me to be put to sleep to have it removed. he asked me many times if I was okay because I was scared he even wiped my face with paper towel to cool me down he was extremely nice to me and my grandmother and explained each step and what would happen next I would highly recommend this place to anyone Lincoln dental doesn't even compare to this place.

After trying out 7 Dentist places in Ontario. This is by-far the best Dental Clinic I and my family like. Dr. Rashid and his staff are always great with our family. I never had a bad experience here. I am not sure why this place has a 3.0 star rating. People of Welland don't know better I guess! Anyhow, if you are cheap and don' really care about the quality; then go somewhere else. But if you are someone like me, who is really picky and particular about teeth - These people are the best. Yes, you pay a little more, but there are no mess ups! You will walk out tension free!

I hadn't been to a dentist in quite a while and I was experiencing a tremendous amount of pain. My boyfriend had recently had some work done with Dr. Rashid and was very happy with his work. He also knew how terrified I was to visit a dentist, which is why he highly recommended Dr. Rashid to me. I was able to be seen quite promptly and Dr. Rashid was awesome! He took the time to explain everything to me and was very understanding and sensitive about how nervous I was. The day I went back to have my oral surgery done, he was so kind and put me at ease. I had to have 4 extractions done. He froze my mouth and I didn't experience any kind of pain or discomfort at any point during my appointment, which was about an hour long. When the freezing wore off, I expected to be in a lot of pain but I wasn't and I was so happy about that! Dr. Rashid is a wonderful dentist and is very good at what he does. I highly reccomend him & will definitely go back to him and will also be making appointments for my children with him. I think it's also worth mentioning that he has a wonderful staff who are also very helpful, accommodating & caring. All this coming from someone who has always hated going to the dentist because of my own fears and anxiety, but I honestly regret waiting so long to make an appointment!

Amazing. I am an international student, so I’ve not known about my insurance. The staff give me a kind explanation about how much was covered in my insurance, and she tried to solve the problem in many ways when I had a problem with my insurance. Everyone is so kind, and this place is so comfortable. Also, treatment skills are perfect. I almost fell asleep when I was getting a cavity treatment.

I had three great experiences so far. I had a filling, crown placement and a cleaning. Everyone here is very friendly and takes the time to answer all questions. They make sure you are comfortable and know exactly what is about to happen. I highly recommend.

Wow cant beleive what i am reading in the welland tribune! The wife of the dentist illegally practicing and posing as a doctor administering botox and other cosmetic procedures. Everyone stay clear of this place and bring your business to some honest people and do not support these morally twisted individuals!!

Everyone is super friendly!!! I've never waited more than 5 mins in the waiting room for my appointment! They all made me feel very comfortable and relaxed!! Tina is wonderful after not going to the dentist for such a long time she made it a great experience! And Dr. Rashid is great as well even made getting cavities filled a good experience! I would highly recommend Besma Family Dental Center to anyone!

Mine name Elisabeth Pelle. I am 84 years old And I have never complained in mine life,but this time the glass is full. I,m trying to call the Royal College of Dental complain office I do have problem with the dentist fee,and the tooth ace. The last few months I have problems with my teeth. But because the virus, you have to wait your term. Thank God I didn’t have a toot ace or infection, Except it was mine front teeth broken and the root, has to taken out. So I called the dentist, when they reopened (do to the virus) and the dentist pulled out.He's fee was $247 dollar. I have found it high, but dentist charge whatever they like. No price list And I also made appointment for the bottom toot filing,because the denturiest told me it is better to fix it before he make me a brace But mine second visit given me a headache. They have charge me $90 dollar extra emergency fee. (What they are arrange it at the beginning of March, when the virus started) I did called the office, And told them that wasn’t an emergency,the appointment was arranged weeks before, they have given me a double talk. I'm very-much disappointed, not mentioning that to this day have tooth pain that was not have before. I’m not able even bite on that side anymore About the bereavement and the Dental origination. That let them doing that. When the people are losing jobs and everybody is fighting day after day for their health and here some so called professional making profit of it. I have tried to get in touch with the dental association complain service but i have no luck. Weeks went by and I cannot take out of my mind. Today I was listening to The Premier Ford program. I remembered that once he mentioned it on T.V such scams and he was very disappointed And unfortunately, it is still happenings, what no one wants to know about it. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. I had 2 fillings done at this practice. They continued to cause me a great deal of pain so I returned and was told that the fillings were “a bit heavy” they were filed down and I was sent on my way. After a few more weeks of pain and discomfort I went elsewhere only to find out decay had been left in the cavities. They were repaired by my new dentist who seemed shocked. I contacted Besma family dental and was told they would look into it and call me back. A week later they returned my call. They refused any type of compensation, stated if the x-rays I had done at my new dentist proved this is to be true they “may” consider fixing them at no cost to me...No thanks didn't want anymore shoddy work. I paid hundreds of dollars for this shotty job. I was assured by their office staff the dentist that did my work no longer worked there- as if this was supposed to make up for the fact I had to pay twice to have my issues dealt with or that it was done improperly in the first place.This is irresponsible practice at the least, and wish there was some accountability on the practice for money spent. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere.

Very nice office and amazing atmosphere .Dr.Rashid is a wounderful dentist and he has an excellent attitudes towards the patients . My daughter has wounderful smile and teeth now when she started to have dental treatment at his office . I appreciate his efforts in the community of special needs children as I am so thankful to the fact that he has a hospital privilege where he can take my daughter and other patients with dental chair issues to the hospital . I recommend him and his office to all my relatives and my friends .

Just to clarify the reception staff is incredibly friendly and helpful but that is the only kind words i can offer. my first appointment i was given an examination and xray where they completely missed an infection in my tooth scheduled me a root canal when i arrived for it i was told it needs to be an extraction with no explanation as to how this was messed up and today the extraction has left me in more pain than i was in previously with the tooth still in my mouth after the appointment AVOID THIS DENTIST HE IS A BUTCHER

Temporary crown came off while visiting family 3 hours away from home, they took me in immediately, gently cemented it back on (it was incredibly sensitive) and billed my insurance directly so I didnt even have to pay up front. Very surprised by the negative reviews. All staff I met were very polite and friendly.

Dr. Rashid is very professional, considerate and skilled. I am very uncomfortable at a dentist's office due to some very poor quality dentists in my past, but Dr Rashid and his staff are very considerate and encouraging even at the end of the day. They make dentistry approachable, even if you have had bad experiences in the past. I always leave in less pain than I arrive in. I have recommended Besma dental to everyone I know who needs work done and I intend to keep doing so. Thank you, Dr. Rashid! You have an excellent team that I can trust. Edit: They are also very helpful and clear about their charges and what is and is not covered. They respect their clients' and consider their financial situation with respect.

As soon as I entered I was greeted warmly and immediately taken to the treatment room. Cher is warm and cheerful. She is gentle with her cleaning which is very important to me. I did not have to wait and paid and left. Very satisfying experience.

I recognize the names on these 5 star reviews looks like he has his hygienists and wife rate them, Alexis Cadieux works there, warkaa al-shurkii is his wife. I had 2 cavities "fixed" and they charged my insurance company $1500 and maxed out my benefits for the year. Dr.rashid is never there and is about as pleasant as dealing with an angry llama, all his associates have multiple complaints and infractions against them posted on the college of dentist webpage. There are many dentist in the Niagara region I would highly recommend before this place, my teeth are important to me and deserve the best dental care from someone who cares about them as much as I do and not about the $$

We have had a horrible experience with trying to resolve a root canal for my girlfriend. Dr. Rashid was our first choice, and we knew we would need to pay a significant amount for this kind of work to be done even with benefits covering the majority. So the first thing we did was ask what the potential cost might be and what kind of payment plans might be available. They informed us they would put in an inquiry to the benefit provider then allow for a payment plan based on the remainder. 2 weeks later we get the estimate, and Besma decides that no they don't allow payment plans. There are also extra exams and cleanings they will want to do, that were not mentioned previously. We had the matter reviewed by the office manager and their solution was to allow a pre-payment plan. We can suffer with a root canal for 3-6 months while they take our money, and then do the work. They of course had no response or alternative to offer. In summary: Besma Family Dental Lied to us, and wasted 2 weeks of our time that could have been used to find a Dentist we could work with.

I have a wonderful experience at this dental office .I can not thank Dr. Rashid enough ,for his dental treatment for myself or for my daughter.He took my daughter to the hospital and he did her treatment under GA.She had to suffer previously from her teeth but not any more after i choose Dr. Rashid to be my dentist .The staff are very nice and very knowledgeable and I appreciate all the help that they are doing to myself or to my family every time we are at that dental office .I would recommend Dr. Rashisd and his office to all my friends and relatives .

Dr. Rashid and the staff are extremely professional and friendly. I haven't had any issues with the dental works and cleanings done since I started going there over 10 years ago. Very efficient and always on time without any long wait. Also a very clean and beautiful office.

This office really needs some customer service skills improvements. I attend Niagara College and school has dentist network. If students go to network dentist, minor restorative services would be covered at 100%. I went to such dentist and they didn't honor 100%. Only 85% was covered. The office didn't really explain how it worked. Stuff wasn't very friendly. I didn't feel welcome at all. I'm quite surprised how they are still able to stay in business. I guess they don't have a lot of competition around.

Best dental Office! Wow. Everyone I have encountered so far in my 3 visits have been so kind, helpful and friendly. After having a previously horrible experience with a wisdom tooth extraction, I was worried about getting another 1 removed. They made it so easy. They were so fast and gentle. I would recommend Besma Dental to anyone searching for a new dentist!!!! So happy I discovered them:)
